Globe Can't See Through Northampton Smoke

Yes, the talk on local radio as I went to get my Globe was all about the racist Northampton Police Department. That's what happens when your police departments are trained by Israelis.

"Lawyers for Northampton arson suspect seek dismissal

Defense lawyers have asked a judge to dismiss charges against a Northampton man accused of setting a series of fires in 2009, including one that killed a father and son. Anthony Baye appeared in Hampden Superior Court on Tuesday prior to his trial in May. Authorities said Baye, 27, set a series of fires early on Dec. 29, 2009. One took the lives of Paul Yeskie Sr., 81, and Paul Yeskie Jr., 39. Baye faces 42 charges, including multiple counts of arson and two counts of murder. Baye’s lawyers argued there is not enough evidence tying their client to the fires. Judge Constance Sweeney did not immediately rule and set another hearing for April 26."
