Toying With the Boston Marathon Bombing

It's not any fun (frown) anymore.

"the dual bombs near the Marathon finish line were detonated by a remote control for a toy car

Then why did they allegedly detonate them when they were damn near standing on top them?

(Blog editor now pleaes for the PtB to stop shoveling shit through your corporate pre$$titutes, and no nuking of Chicago to drive the point home. Take the blogs down and all that. The FEAR I FELT yesterday has evolved, as it always does, there is a progression there, any shrink worth his $alt will tell you so, to at bottom reveal BALD ANGER! That's why I typed swear words. I had really calmed down and, quite honestly, was almost done blogging. I was taking weeks of off. Didn't think it made a difference, but the Boston Marathon Bombings have reenergized me. Just another government backfire. Everything this government puts its hand to is a reverse-Midas touch. It doesn't turn to gold, it turns to shit.)

The latest bric-o-crap:

"Government’s terrorism information sharing program rated “high risk” despite 12 years of effort since 9/11" by Michael Kranish, Bryan Bender, Sean P. Murphy, and Noah Bierman  |  Globe Staff, April 25, 2013

WASHINGTON — A federal audit as recently as January warned there was a “high risk” that the government’s information-sharing system would not prevent a terror attack, raising questions about whether a communications breakdown allowed the Boston Marathon bomb plot to evolve undetected and its perpetrators to elude quick capture.

Translation: Let's pass all-seeing, all-spying CISPA, get everyone into a data base, type in the name and number and, ping, up comes the file. Just don't "misspell" the damn thing.

Yeah, it's ALWAYS the SAME.

The information issue arose again on Wednesday when US officials disclosed that the CIA had placed Tamerlan Tsarnaev on a terrorism watch list several months after the FBI had placed him on a different watch list.

What is with ALL the  'effin lists? Must be worse than the stack to the ceiling of unread Boston Globes on my table in the other room. I'll get to 'em, and I'll find that critical and all important article someday, I know it.

Both actions were based on separate alerts provided by Russian authorities, but they failed to help the United States recognize and intervene to head off the threat or identify Tsarnaev as a suspect once the bombs went off.

Actually, I take it back. This is fun. This is shit is MAKING ME LAUGH NOW!

Also Wednesday, new details emerged about the capture of the younger Tsarnaev brother, Dzhokhar, after Tamerlan was killed in a gunfight with police.

(Blog editor smiles)

Members of the MBTA SWAT team that arrested Dzhokhar Tsarnaev confirmed that, despite their fears, the 19-year-old bombing suspect did not appear to have a weapon when they finally pulled him from the bullet-riddled boat in a Watertown backyard where he was hiding. He was struggling to remain conscious, and had no weapon on him, they said.

Oh-kay! For those who don't remember, the guy stuck his hand out in surrender (from what I've been told by my Gload) and the cops let loose (it was only one guy they said, ooops). They weren't trying to arrest him. They were trying to blow him away.

"As Watertown, the scene of Friday’s firefight and manhunt, began returning to normal Saturday, more details filtered out about the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was discovered bleeding and hiding in a boat in a backyard on Franklin Street.... Watertown police rushed to the scene, followed quickly by hundreds of Boston police officers, federal law enforcement officials, and officers from other agencies still in Watertown. Boston tactical teams made up of dozens of SWAT officers led by Sergeant Jack Mahoney swarmed the house, setting up a perimeter around it. Above, a State Police helicopter hovered for another view. Dozens of officers and federal officials moved into the backyard on foot and as they neared the boat, Tsarnaev suddenly moved from his hiding place and raised his hand. He looked to be holding something. Immediately, officials opened fire. Officers backed off, keeping a distance of about 30 feet from the boat. Worried that Tsarnaev might be wearing an explosive device, police brought in an armored vehicle, equipped with a robot that could peel back the wrap covering the boat for the winter. The standoff lasted nearly two hours, as officers watched the boat closely. “No movement,” they would report occasionally. Then, Tsarnaev stirred. He held his hands up. He was covered in blood. Not taking any chances, officers began to hit the boat with flash grenades, which emit a loud blast and a bright light designed to disorient suspects. They used at least a dozen of the devices, trying to ensure as much as possible that Tsarnaev would be too stunned to fight back. SWAT officers then swarmed the boat...."

And he never even had a weapon, NOT EVEN a GUN!

Someone remarked somewhere that the POLICE KILL MORE people on ANY GIVEN DAY than these alleged bombers, but NO BIG NEWS!

“He looked like a bloodied-face suspect in need of medical care,” SWAT team member Kenny Tran said in an interview with the Globe.

Law enforcement agents said Wednesday they do not believe the wound on his neck was the result of a suicide attemptcontrary to some published reports.

Translation: You can't believe what you read or see in or on the AmeriKan ma$$ media. Sorry, but that is JUST the WAY it IS!

SWAT team member Jeff Campbell said the 2-inch-long bleeding wound on the front of his neck looked more like a cut made by shrapnel from an explosion.

Right. I'm thinking gunshot wound from the fusillade, but whatever.

A second law enforcement official echoed the view that the wound did not appear to be self inflicted.

Also Wednesday, Representative Dutch Ruppersberger, a Maryland Democrat and the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, said the dual bombs near the Marathon finish line were detonated by a remote control for a toy car. Ruppersberger made his comments after a briefing by law enforcement officials.

Okay, then BAN BACKPACKS and BAN TOY CARS and PLANES -- except for government spy drones -- and SHUT 'EM DOWN!!!

PUT 'EM OUT of BUSINESS!!

BACKPACK MAKERS and TOY CAR and PLANE PEOPLE HELP TERRORISTS!!!!!!!

This GOVERNMENT MUST PROTECT US from TOY MANUFACTUR.... wait a minute, most of those are now in China, so....

Okay, they still have to protect us from the backpack makers because those are American jo.... oh, wait, those aren't American jobs any more, and aren't going to be if the new immigration bill is passed.

WTF?

In Russia, the news agency RIA Novosti reported Tsarnaev’s parents had agreed to come to the United States to answer questions.

I don't know if that is such a good idea. I wouldn't want them to meet with any unfortunate accidents or unusual illnesses.

Members of Congress, meanwhile, expressed alarm Wednesday that 12 years of efforts to improve the sharing of information – a federal priority since the Sept. 11 attacksweren’t enough to track the international movements of bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev despite a string of suspicions about his actions.

They are amazing, aren't they? Take the OFFICIAL LIE that seems like a "problem" and USE IT to FURTHER ADVANCE a pre-conceived AGENDA! You have to admire the bulls***-tossers.

Even though Tsarnaev was placed on two separate terror tracking lists in 2011, the FBI failed to detect his travel to the Dagestan region of Russia for six months in 2012 because his name was spelled wrong on an airline passenger list, according to officials. The Department of Homeland Security did detect his travel.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican, said he couldn’t fathom why the Department of Homeland Security apparently knew Tsarnaev was going to Russia, but the FBI did not....

I can't fathom why I am still reading this s***.

“Eleven, twelve years after 9/11, it can’t be such that when you are informed by a foreign government that the person — who actually committed the terrorist attack — may actually have been a terrorist in the making in 2011,” Graham said.

Problems with the government’s information sharing have been known in Washington circles, if not well-publicized.

Look at this limited hangout piece of bull puckey!

The Government Accountability Office, a federal unit that audits the efficiency of federal programs, reported in January that information sharing remained a “high risk” problem for the US government, the most deficient ranking that can be given in a GAO evaluation.

The “high risk” ranking was first given in 2005 and, despite what the GAO called improvement, enough serious questions remain that the program was again given that ranking in January. The audit has not been widely reported.

Well, WHOSE fault is THAT, ma$$ media machine? Apparently, it was WELL-KNOWN in the CIRCLES YOU TRAVEL -- which means YOU ALL KNEW DOWN THERE! You knew there was a terrorist out there, and you let people go running anyway.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney declined to say at a briefing whether President Obama was confident that federal databases on potential terrorists were working, or whether federal agencies were sharing enough information, or if information was properly followed up, saying those questions would be addressed in an investigation.

What would he know?

See: Obama Was Warned About Boston Marathon Bombing

Yeah, so was George Bush.

As for the cover-up whitewash, 'er, investigation, sorry, yeah, whatever.

Obama “wants every agency involved in this to do a broad investigation into what happened, what we knew, what inspired and motivated these two individuals, and the steps that they took that led to the terrorist attacks in Boston a week ago Monday,” Carney said.

Members of Congress on Wednesday raised questions not only about whether there are gaps in information sharing between the FBI, CIA, and the Department of Homeland Security, but also about whether crucial data was provided to “Fusion Centers” that were set up after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks to ensure that state and local officials are in the loop.

You don't see or hear much about the innocuous, never-know-they-were-next-door-in-that-quiet-office-type place, fusion centers, but they are basically little spying and Gestapo centers.

So Obama has been keeping lists since 2009, and the Boston cops never forget a face, 'eh

BREAKING UPDATE: Terror in Tewksbury

Did they get a look at his CORI?

It was not clear Wednesday, for example, whether a Fusion Center in Massachusetts was given direct information that the FBI had received warnings from Russia about Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

The Commonwealth Fusion Center is located in Maynard, Mass., where a variety of local and state public safety agencies collect and analyze information about potential terrorist threats.

And these guys were LITERALLY RIGHT UNDER THEIR NOSES? Dealing drugs and all?

The Massachusetts State Police did not respond to questions about whether the center was alerted to the FBI’s concerns about Tsarnaev. The FBI and Homeland Security also did not return calls about the matter.

Translation: We wrote your story for you; now print it and shut up.

“We’ve got lots of questions,” said Senator Saxby Chambliss, a Georgia Republican on the intelligence committee. “We’re still trying to figure out what we knew that either did or didn’t get shared in the right way and if we had a breakdown in our systems, where was it, so we can fix it? Frankly, I don’t know if there’s anything we’ve seen that might have prevented the incident from happening. But that question has not fully been answered either.”

Senator John McCain, an Arizona Republican, said he was “very, very concerned” about problems with information sharing.

“There were so many mistakes made . . .” he said. “I wouldn’t pick out the Fusion Center but obviously we need to review this whole situation. . . . How did he get out of the country with only the DHS knowing? They didn’t know when he came back. The FBI dropped him from the list, the whole lack of coordination and information . . . clearly a lack of coordination among agencies.”

Yeah, HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN, duuuuuuuuuhhh?

Russia’s Federal Security Service warned the FBI about Tsarnaev in early 2011, saying he was a “follower of radical Islam and a strong believer’’ and was prepared to leave the United States to “join unspecified underground groups’’ in Dagestan, according to the FBI.

The FBI followed up by checking government databases and looking for things such as “derogatory telephone communications, possible use of online sites associated with the promotion of radical activity, associations with other persons of interest, travel history and plans, and education history,” according to FBI Supervisory Agent Jason J. Pack. “The FBI also interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev and family members. The FBI did not find any terrorism activity.”

But we have been told it is ALL OUT THERE EVERYWHERE?!!!!!!

As a result, the bureau concluded he was not a threat. Nonetheless, it added him to a watch list of individuals that are reported as suspicious but have not been directly connected to terrorist groups.

(Do I have to type it? Do I)

Another step involved creating a record with more biographical information about Tsarnaev, a Green Card holder from Kyrgyzstan who lived in Cambridge, which was added to the FBI’s separate Terrorist Screening Database.

That is WHAT THEY ARE DOING EVERY DAY! Throwing crap against the wall, and hoping it sticks and don't 'tink!!!!!!!

Several months later, the CIA received a similar warning, also from Russia, about Tsarnaev. The CIA then requested that Tsarnaev’s name be put on a different watch list, according to a US intelligence official. That watch list requested officials to keep an eye on him – a so-called “look-out” tag that is not as urgent as the no-fly list barring air travel.

Does anyone in the world other than the echo chamber of government and media believe US intelligence officials anymore?

By 2012, Homeland Security reported to one of the central information sharing databases that Tsarnaev had left Boston for Russia in January 2012, but at that point at least one of the watch list tags had expired.

Amidst the questions came a call for caution on fixing blame.

If that isn't pot hollering kettle media.... pfffffft!

“The press is trying to turn this into another case of 9/11 where we didn’t connect the dots,” said John Hamre, former deputy secretary of defense. “I am not sure it is analogous.”

Wah, wah, wah, wah.

A spokesman at the Russian Embassy in Washington did not respond to requests for comment.

Congressional committees are expected to examine whether agencies shared information in the Marathon bombing case.

“I have concerns about what agencies knew what — and the fact that it wasn’t shared,” House Speaker John Boehner said at a press conference. “You know, if the information is good enough for one agency of the government, why shouldn’t it be appropriate for other agencies of the government?”

I'm done playing.

UPDATES:   Mass. antiterror units were not notified of 2011 probe into bombing suspect

Why would they have been? These guys were working for U.S. intelligence agencies.

"The Boston Marathon bombings, the first terrorist bomb attack in American since the Sept. 11, 2011....

2011, Glob?

As evidence of poor coordination and sharing of information among key security agencies continues to build, the White House has launched an internal investigation of the handling of the Tsarnaev case that will focus on weaknesses in the nation’s system of tracking suspected terroristsObama administration officials have asked the National Counter-Terrorism Center, which coordinates a vast network of databases and terror watchlists, to recreate the steps taken by the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Homeland Security, and others after the Russians began notifying US officials about Tsarnaev. The investigation will include a review of when Tsarnaev was added to the broadest terror watch list (called the Terrorism Identification Datamart Enterprise, or TIDE)"

TIDE is going out.

"In an exclusive interview with the Globe on Thursday, Danny -- the victim of the Tsarnaev brothers’ much-discussed but previously little-understood carjacking -- filled in some of the last missing pieces in the timeline between the murder of MIT police officer Sean Collier, just before 10:30 p.m. on April 18, and the Watertown shoot-out that ended just before 1 a.m. Danny asked that he be identified only by his American nickname."

PFFFFT!

Word on the blogs is he is Chinese, therefore the naked man caught on video and later executed was in fact Tamerlan.
