"No One Could Have Planted Bombs in the World Trade Center Without Being Detected, Could They?
As Raw Story notes:
A Government Accountability Office investigator smuggled live bomb components into a federal building in just 27 seconds, then assembled a bomb in a restroom and ventured throughout the building without being detected, a leaked tape revealed Wednesday.
In addition, congressional investigators were able to penetrate every single federal building they probed without any difficulty — 10 in all.
And see this.
Indeed, as I wrote in 2005, there is substantial additional evidence that bombs could have been planted in the World Trade Center without anyone knowing:
- Bomb-sniffing dogs were inexplicably removed from the Twin Towers five days before 9-11
- The Twin Towers had been evacuated a number of times in the weeks preceding 9/11
- Workers in the Twin Towers observed heavy work taking place on supposedly empty floors in the weeks before 9-11; supposedly, the work took place on floors the elevators would not stop on without a special access key (toward the end of the video).
- Bombs could have been placed during renovation of the elevators in the Twin Towers.
- And -- as an interesting coincidence -- a Bush-linked company ran security at the trade centers, thus giving it free reign to the buildings
These are just a few of the known, public examples of opportunities to plant bombs. There were undoubtedly many additional opportunities available to skilled operatives. (Remember that tightrope walker Philippe Petit snuck into the World Trade Center with a friend in 1974 with massive amounts of equipment, smuggled the equipment to the top floor and rigged up a highwire for his tightrope walking stunt without being detected). As with all of the other arguments trying to debunk those who question the government's version of 9/11, the argument that bombs couldn't have been planted without people observing it is incorrect.
The people still defending the government's version of 9/11 have simply not spent the time to look at the facts.

Yeah, funny how they got into WTC 7, 'eh?
An AP report from September 2001:
"A secret office operated by the CIA was destroyed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center... the undercover station was in 7 World Trade Center ... immediately following the attack, a CIA team searched the rubble for secret documents and intelligence reports.
The New York station used the false front of another federal organization...
It is known as NON-OFFICIAL COVER!
A base of operations to spy on and recruit foreign diplomats at the United Nations while debriefing selected American business executives and others willing to talk to the CIA after returning from overseas. The agency's officers in New York often work undercover, under such guise as diplomats and business executives.
They have been deeply involved in counter-terrorism efforts in the New York area, working jointly with the FBI and other agencies.
And we were told they WERE NOT talking to each other before 9/11!
The New York station was believed to have been the largest and most important CIA domestic station outside the Washington area."

“This is the broadest indictment of a federal agency I have ever heard,’’ Senator Joseph Lieberman said at a Homeland Security Committee hearing on the performance of the Federal Protective Service, which is responsible for the safety of some 9,000 federal facilities. “This is really serious stuff.’’
So when does that Israeli ship pull into port, Joe?
The committee, chaired by the Connecticut independent, heard how Government Accountability Office investigators on 10 occasions carried the components for an improvised bomb through checkpoints monitored by Federal Protective Service guards. In all 10 cases, the materials went undetected. Mark Goldstein, the Government Accountability Office’s director for physical infrastructure issues, said the investigators assembled the devices in restrooms and walked around with them in briefcases.
The devices, which Goldstein said contained actual bomb components but with concentrations below trigger points, were smuggled into 10 level IV facilities - buildings housing more than 450 employees with a high volume of public contact - in four major cities.
So WHEN do they GO LIVE?
They included offices of a US senator and representative, as well as agencies such as the departments of Homeland Security, State, and Justice. “In this post-9/11 world that we are now living in, I cannot fathom how security breaches of this magnitude were allowed to occur,’’ Susan Collins of Maine, top Republican on the committee, said.
I CAN!
The Federal Protective Service, Goldstein concluded, “is an agency in crisis.’’ In addition to the smuggling operations, investigators cited examples of a night guard being found asleep after taking Percocet and a guard failing to recognize or properly X-ray a box containing handguns. One guard who was supposed to have been at his post was caught using government computers to manage an adult website....
The agency has a budget of about $1 billion and, in addition to full-time employees, uses about 13,000 contract security guards....
