Slow Saturday Special: Submerged Missile Strike

Look where they put it!!!

"Bombs kill British soldier, 11 civilians in Afghanistan; NATO’s toll for this month increases to 48" by Robert H. Reid, Associated Press | July 18, 2009

KABUL, Afghanistan - A suspected US missile strike killed at least five alleged militants in a remote area of Pakistan near the Afghan border, Pakistani officials said. The United States has launched dozens of missile strikes in Pakistan’s northwest border regions, which are used as havens by Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters to launch attacks against American and NATO forces in Afghanistan.

Two separate bombs in northwest Pakistan damaged a pair of oil tankers headed for NATO forces in Afghanistan, police said. The attacks occurred along a major transit route for fuel and supplies headed to US and NATO troops in Afghanistan.

Yeah, we RARELY HEAR about those THREATENED SUPPLY LINES! Of course, the AmeriKan jewsmedia would never hold information back.

Meanwhile, look what ABSOLUTE CRAP the Globe reported during the week:

"Pakistan refugees begin returning home to Swat Valley; Some balk over security issues and promised aid" by Riaz Khan, Associated Press | July 14, 2009

BARIKOT, Pakistan - After weeks in sweltering camps, refugees from Pakistan’s Swat Valley boarded buses and began heading home yesterday - the first day of an official repatriation program for those uprooted by fighting between the army and Taliban militants.

Yup, the SLAUGHTER is OVER! It MUST BE since it is NOT in my newspaper!

Pakistan’s military launched an operation this spring to clear Swat of Taliban insurgents - an offensive strongly backed by the Obama administration, which considers it a test of Islamabad’s resolve to curb Islamist extremists. The fighting drove some 2 million people from their homes in the country’s northwest.

Actually, try OVER 3 MILLION and RISING!!

The army has now declared most of Swat cleared of militants, and yesterday began ferrying those stuck in camps back home. But only a fraction of the total number of refugees actually began their journey home.

Sigh!
ANOTHER DECEPTIVE, AGENDA-PUSHING HEADLINE!!!!

Some refused to go back, citing lingering security concerns and demanding aid promised them by the government. Thousands more tried to return without official permission and were blocked by the military.

And don't demand to much from the military; they will
kill you!

The repatriation program’s sputtering start illustrates the Pakistani government’s struggles to respond to one of the most challenging humanitarian crises in the country’s history. Islamabad has had a mixed record in the past.

And you can THANK the U.S.!

Last year, officials told refugees from the Bajur tribal region they could return during a cease-fire with Taliban fighters, and many did, only to see fighting resume. Yesterday, some families said they would not go home unless they were given money, food, and other government-promised aid. Each family was supposed to get $306, but the government has had difficulties handing out the cash.

But they have NO PROBLEM handing out the missiles and bombs!

Still, many people were desperate to go home after spending weeks in stifling tents.

Yes, they are LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! They LOVE THEIR HOMES!

Khurshid Khan, 65, traveled with his extended family of 30 people to their home in Barikot, south of Swat’s main city of Mingora, after spending two months in a camp.

“We are very happy. We pray to Allah that we always have peace here. We hope the bad days are over,’’ Khan said after unloading blankets, mattresses, plastic sheets, electric fans and a one-month’s ration of food from the top of a dust-covered bus.

Family members rushed from room to room to ensure all their possessions were still there. Everything was as they left it, except for the normally clean-swept courtyard; it was overgrown with grass....

Was the home still standing?

"Al Qaeda’s No. 2 asks Pakistanis for help" by Associated Press | July 16, 2009

Oh, "Al-CIA-Duh," hanh?

CAIRO - Ayman al-Zawahri’s message was probably aimed at undercutting popular support for the Pakistani military’s offensive against militants along the border with Afghanistan by casting the campaign as a US plot to control the country. He delivered the message in English....

Pfft!
Yup, make your little false-flag tool tell the truth to discredit it, 'murkn propaganda meisters! He spoke in English!
What's the matter, grandpa Zawahiri not available for this one?

"UN worker killed in Pakistan ambush" by Washington Post | July 17, 2009

PESHAWAR, Pakistan - A senior Pakistani staff member of the United Nations refugee agency was shot and killed yesterday morning in an apparent kidnapping attempt while leaving a refugee camp near this northwestern city, UN officials said....

Employees for Western and international organizations have been targeted and killed in the past in Peshawar, the violent capital of North-West Frontier Province and a gateway to the tribal regions along the border with Afghanistan and Pakistan, where Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters operate. Some agencies have moved employees to Islamabad for their safety.

Another refugee agency official, Aleksandar Vorkapic, died last month in the bombing of Pearl Continental Hotel in Peshawar. A UNICEF official, Perseveranda So of the Philippines, was also killed in that blast. And Stephen Vance, who directed a workforce development program funded by the US Agency for International Development, was shot and killed in Peshawar along with his driver last November.

What about the WAR FRONT, you piece of s*** propaganda piece?

Usman, who was married with four children, joined the UN refugee agency’s Peshawar office in 1984 and was chairman of the staff council there. The United Nations is working at several camps to help the roughly 2 million people who have fled their homes to avoid fighting between the military and the Taliban. A small fraction of those refugees began this week to return to their homes in Swat.

Yeah, except the amount now tops 3 MILLION!!

Of course, WE CREATED THEM so I would expect the agenda-pushing MSM to minimize them.

And the propaganda just goes from bad to worse.

"India and Pakistan agree to share intelligence information; Hope to prevent terrorist attacks" by Rama Lakshmi, Washington Post | July 17, 2009

NEW DELHI - India and Pakistan agreed yesterday to increase communication and information-sharing in an effort to prevent terrorist attacks, and said dialogue was the only way forward after violence such as November’s siege in Mumbai.

Then TELL INDIA to STOP WORKING with MOSSAD and the CIA!!!!

The leaders of the two countries spoke for almost two hours on the sidelines of the ongoing Non-Aligned Movement summit at the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt....

India and Pakistan have fought three wars against each other. Talks between the two nations broke down in November when 10 gunmen laid siege for three days to Mumbai and attacked five-star hotels, train stations, and a Jewish prayer center, killing more than 170 people.

New Delhi accused an outlawed Pakistan-based Islamist group, Lashkar-i-Taiba, of engineering the attacks. One of the gunmen, a Pakistani national, is in Indian custody and is undergoing a court trial in Mumbai....

Keeping that awfully quiet, aren't they?
