Pfffffft!

"Student-run group camps out for climate change legislation; Seeks clean energy mandate by 2020" by Christopher J. Girard, Globe Correspondent | October 26, 2009

The Leadership Campaign, a Massachusetts-based student-run group focused on the environment, is looking to have a series of sleep-overs on Boston Common imbued with a sense of urgency about taking action on the environment.

Whenever AGENDA-PUSHERS CLAIM something is "urgent," YOU DON'T WANT IT -- no matter WHAT IT IS, American!!

In the first Sunday camp-out yesterday, event organizers said they expected 125 people at the foot of the State House to protest what they see as the environmentally damaging way homes and dorms are powered and heated.

Don't you LOVE PRIVILEGED LITTLE TOOLS pretending to be homeless?

The group plans to walk into State House this morning and ask to address the Legislature, said Boston Media Coordinator Dan Abrams. They want to urge lawmakers to pass legislation requiring that Massachusetts be powered exclusively by clean energy by 2020.

Sounds great except it is NOT FEASIBLE!! You DO NOT GET the SAME KICK in ENERGY from the CLEAN FUELS! It is JUST A FACT! INDUSTRY and POWER PLANTS will NOT BE ABLE TO POWER THEMSELVES, dumbkoffs!! What are you going to do when THOSE COMPUTERS WON'T WORK, 'eh, kids.

Maybe a MIX of them all is needed. Solar and wind-powered homes with generators, etc. But, that isn't the agenda, is it?

The group will camp on the Common every Sunday until an international summit on climate change on Dec. 7 in Copenhagen, Abrams said. The group gathered for a 4 p.m. rally near Park and Beacon streets yesterday, during which various students and faith leaders expressed the need for immediate and drastic legislation....

Odd, because WE MEET EVERY WEEK on SATURDAY to PROTEST the WAR for an HOUR and that NEVER GETS COVERAGE! And WE have been DOING IT for YEARS!

When Rev. Rob Mark of the First Presbyterian Church of Waltham took the megaphone, he called climate change a moral issue and said citizens must do everything in their power to avert the suffering of “environmental refugees.’’

It is really disappointing to see religious leaders suck up this garbage. Hope no one falls in front of your church this year because of the snow and ice, idiot.

What about REAL, LIVE WAR REFUGEES that NUMBER in the MILLIONS and ARE HERE NOW, reverend?

Lizzie Rubenstein, a Clark University sophomore, told about 70 onlookers the campaign is an action-oriented counterpoint to pessimism about the Earth’s future. “We have a solution, and we know what we [have to] do,’’ she said. “That’s what I love about this campaign.’’

Today is a day where I am simply in no mood for the jewish supremacism of the Boston Globe, folks.

About 40 minutes into the rally, Rev. Fred Small said: “What carried the civil rights movement was young people,’’ he said.

Yeah, but WHAT ABOUT THAT ANTIWAR MOVEMENT from WAY BACK WHEN?

I mean, there IS NONE NOW because ALL the ANTIWAR GROUPS are CONTROLLED-OPPOSITION OUTLETS that ARE NOT INTERESTED in 9/11 Truth!!!

See: Code Pink Makes Me See Red

Katie MacDonald, a University of Massachusetts sophomore, said that 25 people endured torrential rain Saturday night, hunkering down on the town common in Amherst. MacDonald said the Massachusetts Council of Churches provided the campers with hot cider and snacks.

I don't see the church helping us on Saturday!

Northeastern University sophomore Jessica Feldish said 20 students camped out on that school’s campus Saturday night. Students from six Boston-area universities and five other Massachusetts schools, including Amherst College and Westfield State College, were present at yesterday’s rally. “We’re not fooling around,’’ said Boston University student Melanie Glass, 22. “This is a proactive way to fight climate change instead of just going to meetings.’’

Right.

Spending a night (or an hour) on the common is proactive -- and then you do what, GO HOME, kiddo?

That's why nothing has changed in this country despite the lies and outrages.

Well, you KNOW WHAT the ANSWER is to the ENVIRONMENT, kids, so the PLANET is YOURS!!!

ENJOY the NUCLEAR WASTE along with the depleted uranium left over from the wars.

"Nuclear energy gains spot in climate debate; Sides say reactors may be pivotal in emissions bill" by H. Josef Hebert, Associated Press | October 26, 2009

WASHINGTON - Nuclear energy, once vilified by environmentalists and facing a dim future, has become a pivotal bargaining chip as Senate Democrats hunt for Republican votes to pass climate legislation.

The industry’s longstanding campaign to rebrand itself as green is gaining footing as part of the effort to curtail greenhouse gases. Nuclear power still faces daunting challenges, including the fate of highly radioactive reactor waste.

Hey, I'm sure a NUCLEAR WASTE DUMP NEAR YOU is JUST FINE, right, kids?

But you STOPPED NON-EXISTENT GLOBAL WARMING by foisting an ECONOMY-KILLING CARBON TAX on us!

Yeah, history will luuuuvvvv you! Pffft!

Reactors remain a tempting target for terrorists, requiring ever vigilant security measures.

Don't forget to sig heil, too, kids.

But 104 power reactors in 31 states provide one-fifth of the nation’s electricity. They also are producing 70 percent of essentially carbon-free power and are devoid of greenhouse gas emissions. It’s something the nuclear industry has hammered away at in advertising and in lobbying on Capitol Hill for nearly a decade. Only recently, however, has the message begun to resonate among both industry supporters and skeptics.

“If you want to address climate change and produce electricity, nuclear has got to be a significant part of the equation,’’ Marvin Fertel, president of Nuclear Energy Institute, the industry trade group, said in an interview. That same argument is heard from Republicans and Democrats in Congress, from a growing number of environmentalists, and from the White House, where nuclear power otherwise has received tepid support.

Then the "environmentalists" are FRAUDS!!!!

If they are FOR NUCLEAR ANYTHING they are FRAUDS!!!!

The Senate this week will kick off three committee hearings on legislation to cap greenhouse gases from power plants and large industrial facilities....

Now you KNOW WHY the agenda-pushing papers have been pushing the LOWER STANDARD of LIVING THEME for you, 'murkns! Not only did they MOVE FACTORIES OUT, they NOW PLAN to KILL the REMAINING INDUSTRY as the PLAN for GLOBAL GOVERNMENT and GLOBAL GENOCIDE ADVANCES!!

I mean, if they REALLY CARED about the environment and you, would they have recommended BURNING FOOD for FUEL?!!!! However, if the GLOBAL PLAN for GENOCIDE OCCURS the idea MAKES SENSE, doesn't it?

***********
Jason Grumet, executive director of the National Commission on Energy Policy, a bipartisan group of specialists created seven years ago to advise government officials on energy matters, said all economic models on climate legislationassume significant increases in nuclear power,’’ an expansion binge unseen since the 1970s, before the Three Mile Island nuclear accident brought new reactor orders to a halt.

So HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR NEW NEIGHBOR, American?

What do you mean NOT IN MY BACK YARD?

A study by the industry-supported Electric Power Research Institute says 45 new reactors are needed by 2030. The Energy Information Administration puts the number at 70. An analysis by the Environmental Protection Agency assumes 180 new reactors by 2050 for an 80 percent decline in greenhouse gas emissions. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has applications for 30 new reactors. Only a few probably would be built over the next decade, the earliest in 2016, and then only with the government guaranteeing the private financing.

Oh, yeah, YOU WILL be PICKING UP the TAB, too, TAXPAYERS!!!!

Democratic sponsors of the climate bill are far short of the 60 votes needed to overcome a GOP filibuster. They hope a compromises could bring along uncommitted centrist Democrats and some Republicans. Along with talk of opening more waters to oil drilling, support for nuclear energy is seen as the carrot that might attract Republicans.

Excuse me, WHAT ARE YOU PROTESTING ABOUT, kids?

How does it feel to be a SUCKER?!!!!
