They may be unhappy with what they have, but they DO NOT WANT a RETURN to THIS!!!!
"Son of deposed shah calls for a UN investigation" by Elaine Ganley, Associated Press | January 1, 2010
PARIS - The son of the deposed shah of Iran urged nations worldwide yesterday to withdraw their ambassadors from Tehran to protest a relentless government crackdown on opposition demonstrators....
Reza Pahlavi, who has lived in exile since his father was toppled in the 1979 Islamic revolution, also appealed in a letter to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for a UN investigation into human rights violations during the unrest.

"Dragging out the son of the Shah was one of two critical mistakes made during last summer's attempted coup in Iran. Older Iranians remember that it was the US that installed the Shah on Iran back in 1953 by overthrowing the elected government of Dr. Mohammed Mossedegh.
It was called Operation Ajax and was considered a CIA template for all those coups and coup attempts thave have come after.
From 1953 to 1979 the Shah and the CIA-trained secret police, the Savak kept the people of Iran in poverty and fear. Then there was a revolution that toppled the Shah and restored Democracy to Iran. I suspect that the son of the Shah has gone public again out of ego and acted without the permission of his US masters, who we presume have to understand how reviving the memory of the Shah, both with the son and the flag, was what destroyed the last coup attempt." -- Wake the Flock Up
Then he will quickly disappear from the paper (also explains why the Zionist War Daily picked it up.
Pahlavi equated the climate of the unrest in his homeland with the “revolutionary atmosphere’’ that preceded the fall of his father from the Peacock Throne 30 years ago, when the monarchy was replaced by an Islamic republic.
That is offensive.
The difference, he said, is that this time the people know what they want - a secular democracy. Pahlavi, like other members of the exiled opposition to Iran’s clerical regime, is looking to play a role from afar as protesters defy authorities in an increasingly tumultuous Iran....
That is what he HAS BEEN DOING, isn't it?
Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was overthrown on Feb. 11, 1979. He fled Iran and wandered from country to country ill with cancer, and eventually died in Egypt in 1980.
Yeah, the fact that Carter let him come here for a while didn't help the hostages.
His son is based in Bethesda, Md., but often travels to France....
He's CIA like his DAD, folks!!!!
Exiled groups, who themselves are unlikely to ever join forces, say they are in constant contact with well-placed sources inside Iran.
Would that be the M.E.K. terrorists?
The head of the People’s Mujahedeen Organization, Maryam Rajavi, said her group could rally behind Mousavi “despite his past’’ but only “if he accepts distancing himself from the religious dictatorship.’’
CLOSE ENOUGH!

“Change is underway in Iran. It will not stop until the regime has come to an end,’’ Rajavi said by telephone.
Now, if SOMEONE SAID THAT about ISRAEL wouldn't the NEWSPAPER and AmeriKan government be HOWLING?
