Hijinks at Harvard

Fun and games over there:

"Harvard student dismissed for hacking

A Harvard student was dismissed after he hacked into his instructors’ online accounts and gained unauthorized access to a grading system, the university confirmed yesterday. The Faculty Council decided last week to dismiss the student, whose name has not been released, the Harvard Crimson reported. The student crafted a website to gather his instructors’ confidential log-on information, which he then used to gain access to the grading system, the Crimson reported. Jeff Neal, a Harvard spokesman, confirmed the student newspaper’s account, but would provide no further comment.

"
Aide reportedly challenged professor’s methods" by Elizabeth Cooney, Globe Correspondent | August 20, 2010

Harvard University psychology professor Marc Hauser skewed data and resisted research assistants who questioned him about it, according to assertions in a document a former member of his lab gave The Chronicle of Higher Education.

“The most disconcerting part of the whole experience to me was the feeling that Marc was using his position of authority to force us to accept sloppy (at best) science,’’ the unnamed research assistant wrote in a 2007 statement he gave to Harvard investigators, the Chronicle reported yesterday....

Hey, they shoveled it at you all these years over global-warming.

"Professor found responsible for misconduct; Harvard’s Hauser being investigated by US attorney" by Tracy Jan, Globe Staff | August 21, 2010

Harvard has found prominent psychology professor Marc Hauser responsible for eight instances of scientific misconduct, involving three published papers and five additional experiments, and the matter is being investigated by the US attorney’s office, the university said yesterday.

Hauser is the highest profile Harvard professor in recent memory to have his work so discredited. A popular teacher who has collaborated with star scientists in several fields, his research on the human mind and morality has captured the public’s imagination through his books and frequent media appearances....

It's ALL A LIE, folks!

What you are seeing and reading in your MSM is ALL BULLS***, America!

Although Hauser is on leave, Harvard officials confirmed that he will be teaching a class on cognitive evolution at the university’s extension school starting Aug 31....

So the kid gets tossed but the bulls***ter sticks?

Oh, right, it's Hah-vahd!
