"Man, 25, dies after confrontation at pub; Police say victim cut by glass shards" by Thomas Byrne and Jack Nicas, Globe Correspondents | August 15, 2010
A 25-year-old man died early yesterday after shards from a broken glass cut his neck during a late-night confrontation at a Lansdowne Street bar, according to police.
He died because of that?
Just after midnight yesterday, two groups were fighting in The Lansdowne pub when Hector Guardiola, 25, of Boston, allegedly threw a glass or a bottle that shattered and sliced the victim’s neck, police spokeswoman Elaine Driscoll said....
Does that sound like a reasonable explanation to you?
The chain of events remained murky yesterday as police pieced together the scene into a bizarre narrative.
Translation:
Yeah, the smell sure is familiar.
“An individual threw some sort of a glass,’’ Driscoll said. “When that glass hit a partition or something along those lines, the glass exploded. Shards of that glass went out into the crowd. One of those shards hit the victim, which resulted in a fatal injury.’’
And SLICED his NECK?
Meaghan Severson, 23, of Oxford, Conn., wondered how that could have happened.
She is NOT the ONLY ONE!!!
“That just sounds really strange to me,’’ she said. “In order to bleed out, you kind of have to have a deep cut, and I feel like a ricocheted piece of glass, that just doesn’t really sound like it would do it.’’
No, it DOES NOT!
Which means the AUTHORITIES and GOVERNMENT are LYING AGAIN!!!
They CAN'T EVEN TELL the TRUTH about a BAR KILLING!!!!
Patrons said the bar typically attracts a college-age crowd with live music in the main area and a separate room with a DJ....
The pub reopened yesterday evening.
Oh, well, forget about last night!
Yup, THAT'S THEIR STORY and their STICKIN' TO IT!!!!
"Pub tiff allegedly resulted in death; DA says beer glass wound was fatal" by Brian R. Ballou and Alex Katz, Globe Staff And Globe Correspondent | August 17, 2010
Authorities say Hector Guardiola of South Boston, angry after a brief run-in with one member of Mike DiMaria's group, hurled a beer mug toward the table, hitting a partition. The impact shattered the glass container, sending shards flying through the air inside the well-lit Lansdowne Pub at 9 Lansdowne St.
One piece struck DiMaria, 23, who worked for a compliance firm on Wall Street, perforating his jugular vein, according to authorities. DiMaria, bleeding profusely, was rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he died less than 30 minutes later....
Huh.
What a shot.
One in a million!
Thank the stars my MSM or government would never lie to me about anything.
“He could probably throw the same kind of glass a thousand times and it wouldn’t come close to causing the type of injuries it did that night.’’
Yeah. Yup. Mmm-hmmm.
*****
Guardiola, 25, who grew up in Puerto Rico and lives with his girlfriend at a South Boston housing development, was charged yesterday in Roxbury District Court with manslaughter and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. His lawyer, Albert Hutton Jr., entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf and Judge David Weingarten ordered the defendant held on $75,000 cash bail. Guardiola is scheduled to return to court for a probable cause hearing Sept. 9.
It is not known exactly what sparked the confrontation between Guardiola and the unidentified person in DiMaria’s group, but prosecutors said it was “something trivial.’’
Guardiola, who does not speak English, required a translator during his arraignment, and stood behind a partially closed door during the court proceeding.
I hope he thanked the tapped-out taxpayers of the state.
And for those who say what if you found yourself in a court in a country that didn't speak your language, well, I don't plan on going anywhere and unless the newspapers and government convert to Spanish (just might) then the court I'm hauled before my stay in the concentration camp before the eventual execution will be speaking to me in English (or Yiddish given the level of you-know-whos -- rhymes with -- that dominate the AmeriKan judicial system).
I intend to stay and fight for my country as long as I can.
What do you think I have been and am doing here day after day after day for the last four years (has it been that long)?
Yeah, I know it seems like a losing battle, but what else is there to do?
Outside the courtroom after the arraignment, Guardiola’s brother and sister, both of whom declined to give their names, said he is not someone who starts fights or is easily angered....
Go tell it to the police, not me.
Too bad I'm not in your jury pool because I already have doubts -- especially given the authorities (any level) and their reputations for truthfulness around here.
Guardiola has held a custodial job in the animal laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for three years.
Not an illegal because Puerto Rico became part of the U.S. after the AmeriKan MSM lied about a coal explosion on the Maine.
Remember the Maine (it was Spanish terrorists then)?
Yeah, the lying you into wars goes way, way back, American!
He has two motor vehicle offenses on his record, for operating under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a license.
Well, Globe, WHAT WOULD THAT SUBSTANCE BE and WHY the OBFUSCATING VAGUENESS?
Because it WASN'T BOOZE?
Alasdair Conn, the chief of emergency services for Massachusetts General Hospital, said yesterday that most injuries from flying glass are to the face or below the neck. “But the neck is very vulnerable because the jugular vein is so close to the skin surface,’’ he said.
An average adult male has about eight pints of blood and losing more than half is fatal, Conn said. A person can bleed to death within two minutes from a lacerated carotid artery, which carries blood to the brain, and within 30 minutes from a lacerated jugular vein, which carries blood from the brain back to the heart, he said....
Then WOULDN'T THERE HAVE BEEN MORE TIME and MORE of a PANIC with people TRYING to SAVE HIM seeing as he HAD NEARLY 30 MINUTES?
RUSHED to the hospital but they couldn't save him?

They must think we are drunk because this just doesn't pass the smell test. I suspect this case will do a quick fade.
Good thing the Boston cops don't have to do any investigating or anything.
Now they can go back to the head shop -- or whatever.
