Israel Plays With Fire and Gets Burned

FLASHBACK:

"Israel asks for aid as worst forest fire in its history rages" by Dan Balilty, Associated Press / December 3, 2010

MEGADIM, Israel — The worst forest fire in Israel’s history devastated one of the country’s few forested areas yesterday, killing at least 36 guards on their way to rescue inmates at a prison in the fire zone, destroying homes, and forcing the evacuation of thousands.

Look, I NEVER WISH FIRE UPON ANYONE; however, what POETIC JUSTICE considering ALL the OLIVE FIELDS and FARMS Israel's Zionist zettlers have torched and then seized!

The fire ripped through the Carmel forest in Israel’s Galilee, reaching the coastal city of Haifa by crossing a forest left tinder-dry by lack of rain and unseasonably hot weather.

Israel appealed for international assistance, a measure of the severity of the disaster, and Turkey put aside recent tensions to pledge aid.

Turkey just showed how much better they are than Israel.

Investigators speculated that the fire could have been started accidentally, or it might have been a criminal act. They have all but ruled out some sort of attack by a Palestinian group.

“This is a disaster of unprecedented proportions,’’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. The fire was still burning out of control as midnight approached.

Ummm, NO!

The SITUATION in HAITI is such a thing!

The FLOODS of PAKISTAN are such a thing.

The 60-year assault on Palestinians by Israel is such a thing.

Yes, this is bad, all fires are, but far worse things have happened in this world over the months and years.

Most of the dead were Prison Service guards racing through the fire toward a prison to evacuate the inmates, mostly Palestinians....

Now if they died going to save prisoners what happened to the prisoners?

At least one village was destroyed....

Mother Nature made them feel like Palestinians, not I.

President Obama offered condolences to families in Israel who lost loved ones, and he pledged US help.

Netanyahu’s office said Greece, Spain, and Cyprus agreed to send firefighting helicopters, and additional aid was coming from Britain, Russia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Romania, Jordan, and Bulgaria.

His office also said Turkey was offering assistance, a positive gesture after months of tensions. Israel-Turkish relations, once amicable, have been in a crisis since Israel’s bloody May 31 attack on a Turkish flotilla trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza.

Wow, the ISRAELI ACT of MURDEROUS PIRACY got a MENTION!

Also unmentioned regarding Turkey was Israel's attempt at a coup

That usually doesn't go over well with people.

Israel’s appeal was a rare call for international aid.

Like they aren't getting enough billions from the U.S.

Oh, right, that was all spent on weapons of war, bulldozers to knock down Palestinian homes, and building material for Zionist zettlers.

"Worst fire in Israeli history continues to burn out of control; Lack of equipment, funding hampers efforts to fight it" by Janine Zacharia, Washington Post / December 4, 2010

JERUSALEM — The worst fire in Israel’s history showed little sign of abating yesterday....

Just wait a day; I'm sure the party-line propaganda will be up and running.

The fire destroyed a large chunk of Carmel Forest, one of Israel’s natural treasures and a popular tourist and vacation destination.

Doesn't prophecy say something about destroying by fire this time rather than water?

It is known as Little Switzerland because of its beauty.

Is that where the thieving Zionists hide all their loot?

By yesterday, the flames had engulfed several kibbutzim and was racing down hills toward Israel’s heavily traveled coastal highway. At least 15,000 residents were evacuated.

In a country as small as Israel, where territory is at the heart of political conflict, every inch of land is precious.

Take a look at this:

Israel's Slow-Motion Genocide in Occupied Palestine
Yeah, poow widdle Iswael!  At the heart of REAL CONFLICT, too!

Nevertheless, Israel has neglected to invest in the equipment and personnel needed to effectively combat the wildfires that have become pervasive in recent years amid unseasonably high temperatures and periods of drought. In a country of 7 million, there are only 1,500 firefighters.

Well, they SHOULD NOT HAVE SPENT all their AID LOOT on DEATH-DEALING WAR MACHINES!

This winter has been one of the hottest and driest on record. Jerusalem rabbis this week held a special prayer for rain at Judaism’s holiest site, the Western Wall.

The Zionist rain dance? Pleez!

These the same guys who say it is okay to wet the ground with Palestinian blood?

Fires this year ravaged parts of the disputed Golan Heights and charred nature preserves on Jerusalem’s outskirts. Israel used its entire 200-ton stock of fire-retarding chemicals battling those outbreaks, so it had none on hand when the latest fire erupted.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for the war-criminal stain?

The country boasts the region’s most powerful military and is often among the first to send rescue teams to disasters abroad, but it could not handle this fire alone....

Pffft!

They send them to cover up their crimes like in Haiti.

The fire has brought international support at a time when Israel has felt isolated diplomatically.

Awww, poow widdle Iswael.

Are they PHYSICALLY ISOLATED like the GAZANS!?!?

Turkey, which has had a strained relationship with Israel since Israeli troops seized a Gaza-bound Turkish aid ship in May, sent two planes.

That is a TOKEN GESTURE just so Israel won't get mad at them.

Britain, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Russia, and Jordan also sent help. Turkey and Greece set aside their political differences and flew sorties together to douse the flames.

Yup, everyone hops to it when it's an Israeli problem.

After the 2006 war with the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, a national inquiry found that Israel’s fire services were underfunded and unprepared and recommended an investment in firefighting aircraft.

That is what happens when you SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY on BOMBS and WEAPONS of WAR and combine it with a CORRUPT GOVERNMENT!

Americans are FINDING THAT OUT NOW!

But even as Israel prepares to acquire hundreds of millions of dollars worth of advanced fighter jets, no budget has been allocated for the much cheaper aerial firefighters.

Actually, it is a GIFT in the form of a BRIBE!

The Carmel fire will be painful for many Jews abroad; raising money to plant a tree in Israel has been a mission of the Jewish diaspora for decades.

Yeah, and the IDIOTS PLANTED PINE FIRS -- the WORST POSSIBLE CHOICE for a HOT and ARID region -- in order to "reclaim the land!"

American Jews who attended Hebrew schools grew up putting pocket change in blue-and-white charity boxes issued by the Jewish National Fund for the tree-planting effort....

Yeah, and WHAT COULD be WRONG with THAT?

I'll put mine in the red kettle this Christmas, thank you.

"Local groups readying aid for Israel fire" by Lisa Wangness, Globe Staff  |  December 5, 2010

Local Jewish groups are rallying to help victims of a fire raging in the hills near Haifa, a city in northern Israel that has developed close ties with Boston over the past two decades.

On Friday, Combined Jewish Philanthropies wired $200,000 to its office in Haifa and set up a special fund for donations on its website....

Over time, the organization will probably also invest in larger rebuilding projects, such as reforestation, said  Gil Preuss, CJP's excutive vice president.

"We are going to be involved with this for the long term," Preuss said.

Then they don't need any help from me.

What started as a small blaze on Thursday in the dry forest near Haifa quickly grew into a raging inferno....

Didn't Dante describe such a place?

Where did all that money come from?

"US plane helps douse deadly fire in Israel" by Amy Teibel, Associated Press / December 6, 2010

JERUSALEM — Israeli officials said an inferno that has raged for four days in a northern Israeli forest was under control, helped in part by the world’s largest flying fire extinguisher — a Boeing 747 from the United States carrying 20,000 gallons of water and fire retardants that joined the efforts yesterday.

Wow, that was FAST!

Two teenage brothers were arrested Saturday in connection with the country’s worst forest fire....

But nothing more on them (they must be bad Israeli kids, huh?

The huge fire in the Carmel Forest caught Israel — which prides itself on its technological prowess, ability to improvise, and rescue expertise — woefully unprepared

What do they say about pride goeth?

That has provoked a public backlash against officials from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on down.

And THAT will be QUICKLY DROPPED, too!

Countries in the immediate region and as far afield as Russia and the US dispatched planes, firefighters, and materials to help battle the blaze.

What countries in the region?

Wouldn't the Zionist press be trumpeting Arab and Muslim support (like the wikileaks on Iran)?

Israel leased the Boeing 747 Supertanker from a private US company.

Oh, it WAS NOT U.S. GOVERNMENT HELP!

As if Israel needed another reason to hate Obama.

Palestinian firefighters ordinarily barred from entering Israel yesterday joined the international effort.

Then IT IS a CRISIS for ISRAEL -- and NOWHERE NEAR OVER!!!

Team leader Ibrahim Ayish said the 21 Palestinian firefighters hoped that by helping to put out the blaze, they could ignite some good will between two sides more often embroiled in conflict....

I used to think that way about Israel, but not anymore.

Their actions speak way louder than their words.
