"Explosion kills 15 in Iranian mosque" by Associated Press | May 29, 2009

TEHRAN - An explosion in a mosque killed 15 people and wounded 80 yesterday in southeast Iran near the volatile Pakistani border, the state news agency said.

Iranian officials were investigating the cause of the explosion in the city of Zahedan, some 1,000 miles southeast of the capital, Tehran, said the Islamic Republic News Agency.

Ali Mohammad Azad, the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan province where Zahedan is the capital, confirmed the death toll in an interview with IRNA and said the explosion happened at 7:45 p.m. He said a terrorist was involved in the explosion. The state news agency report quoted an unnamed official as saying part of the mosque was destroyed, and rescue teams were transferring the bodies of the dead and injured. It said no group had taken responsibility for the explosion.

Alaeddin Mazari, a local journalist in Zahedan, told The Associated Press that the explosion occurred in a the second biggest Shiite Muslim mosque in the city. The majority of Iran's population is Shi'ite, but Sunnis also live in southeast Iran, a region near the Afghan and Pakistani borders that is plagued by lawlessness. It is a key crossing point for narcotics and often witnesses clashes between Iranian police and drug smugglers....

First of all, they lived together for centuries without blowing each others' holy sites -- until USrael gets near. Secondly, we know whose running the drugs!

That a WESTERN EXCLUSIVE, and one reason Afghanistan needed invading: Taliban had eradicated opium because of their religious beliefs.

TEHRAN - Preelection tensions rose in Iran's religiously and ethnically mixed southeast yesterday as gunmen opened fire on the president's campaign office and a radical group claimed responsibility for the bombing of a mosque the previous night that killed up to 23 people and injured scores of others.

Iranian authorities blamed the United States for the violence. "The hands of America and Israel were undoubtedly involved in this incident," prayer leader Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami told supporters in Tehran, referring to the bombing Thursday. "Although Wahhabis and the infidel and evil Salafists were an accomplice to the crime, they were being led from somewhere else."

Wahhabi and Salafi are puritanical schools of Sunni Islam rooted in Saudi Arabia that inspire Osama bin Laden and his Al Qaeda terrorist network, as well as the Taliban and other groups that denounce Iran's dominant Shi'ite Islam....

Well, AT LEAST the SHI'ITE are NOT WORKING with the DEAD GUY and the SUNNI, right?! CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS, a**holes!!!

The gunmen who opened fire on the reelection campaign headquarters of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the provincial capital of Zahedan stormed in and ripped up campaign literature and injured as many as three people, according to Iranian news agencies.

Hours earlier, the Al Qaeda-linked group Jundallah, which draws support from Iran's ethnic Baluch minority, claimed responsibility for bombing the mosque on a Shi'ite religious holiday in a phone call to the Al-Arabiya satellite news channel....

That's all I needed to hear.

"Ahmadinejad threatens to disclose federal papers; Iranian leader hits back at allegations of fiscal negligence" by Nasser Karimi, Associated Press | June 1, 2009

Clashes
erupted yesterday in the southeastern city of Zahedan, where a Sunni militant faction claimed responsibility for the bombing of a Shi'ite mosque last week that killed 25 people and injured 80. The state news agency said the fighting was sparked by rumors that a local Sunni cleric had been attacked.

A bomb was found on board an Iranian airliner soon after takeoff late Saturday, forcing it to return to the southwestern city of Ahvaz. Mohammad Hasan Kazemi, air guards chief, called it a "sabotage attempt" apparently timed to show instability before the elections.

Thursday's bombing in Zahedan was claimed by a Sunni militant group with reported ties to Pakistan, Jundallah or God's Brigade. The group has been fighting a low-level campaign against Iran's Shi'ite leadership for years....

Nothing about AL-CIA-Duh, 'eh?

Colonel Mohsen Khancherli, Tehran deputy police chief, reported a bomb threat yesterday at the Tehran city theater, though no bomb was found.

And for YOUR CONSIDERATION:

Oh, Press TV is Iranian, 'eh (I'm always looking for new and credible news sources, seeing as what I've got is such s*** here in AmeriKa).

According to Adel Mazari, a local journalist, the attack took place at noon as dozens of men rampaged through a poor section of the city, trashing a water-treatment plant and a clinic as well as the bank. Security forces quelled the unrest within hours, said Mazari.

El-STINKO!!!!

Pakistani media said Iran had shut down the border crossing between the two countries in response to the violence. The Press TV report said clashes erupted as a "group of Sunni hard-liners took to the streets" to protest a decision by a Sunni cleric to participate in a memorial service for Shi'ite Muslim victims of a Thursday mosque explosion that killed 25 people.

Are we CLEAR, readers?

Do you KNOW WHY I DO NOT BELIEVE in the SECTARIANISM LIE from the Muslim-hating, war-promoting, Zionist War Dailies that call themselves AmeriKan newspapers?

The ethnic Baluch militant group Jundollah claimed responsibility for that attack....

All I needed to here.

A bomb Saturday aboard a plane leaving Iran's southwest city of Ahvaz, which is home to many ethnic Arabs. The New York Times reported that former President Mohammad Khatami was expected to fly on the flight.

Well, it looks like the Iranians got a handle on it because I haven't heard the Zionist press crowing about any of their false flag teams since.
