First Endeavour of the Day

The next stop on my morning routine: ''toilet"

What is WITH THEM down at the BG?!!

And MY LANGUAGE is FOUL?

THEY are the ones with the FIXATION, not me!!!!!

"Astronauts from shuttle Endeavour work to remedy flooded toilet" by Associated Press | July 20, 2009

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - A flooded toilet right in the middle of complicated robotic work being conducted by the two crews.

Tough mission make 'em poop the pants?
The toilet repair work fell to Belgian Frank De Winne, who had to don goggles, gloves, and a mask....

He must have been LAST on the TOTEM POLE, 'eh?

Where's an illegal when you need 'em (jobs we don't want to do, right)?

Draw straws? Naaah!

Flight director Brian Smith declined to speculate whether overuse caused the toilet trouble.

Teams of specialists in Houston and Moscow hurriedly convened to discuss the problem. The Russian-built, multimillion-dollar toilet flew up on a shuttle last November.

I guess you would, wouldn't you? In the scale of immediacy, the daily ritual takes on more urgency than all things.

Smith said there is no urgency to the bathroom situation, at least for now....

Yeah, he's saying that from DOWN HERE!!!

Hey, Smitty, here you goin....?

What I read while I was in there.

"Even if the Guild ratifies the contract, it would hardly end the uncertainty surrounding New England’s largest newspaper. The recession continues, and the Times Co. and other newspaper owners have yet to solve the industry’s underlying problem: the migration of readers and advertisers to the Internet.

In a word:
LIES!

And they are so
self-delusional about it.

In addition, it’s unclear how long the Times Co. will own the paper. The proposal has generated strong opposition. Opponents say the Times Co. is imposing deeper cuts on rank-and-file workers than on management and that the new package is no better, if not worse, than the one rejected in June. Supporters say it's better than a 23 percent pay cut and that the Globe needs to move past the dispute and focus on long-term survival.

Long-term survival?

The MONEY-LOSING (to the tune of a million-six a week if not more) is TERMINAL!!!!

So you are in a dream state just before death?
