"7 held in alleged plot to kill cartoonist" by Associated Press | March 10, 2010
DUBLIN - Police in Ireland yesterday arrested seven people over an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist who depicted the Prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog.
Irish police said four men and three women were detained in raids across the south of the country. The force said the arrests were part of an investigation into a “conspiracy to murder an individual in another jurisdiction.’’
The force offered the statement in response to a question about Lars Vilks, whom Britain’s Press Association news agency identified as the target. Police said the suspects were in their mid-20s to late 40s. It did not identify their nationality.
Police say the investigation involved law enforcement agencies in the United States and several European countries. Al Qaeda in Iraq put a $100,000 bounty on Vilks’s head after a Swedish newspaper ran his picture of Mohammed’s head on a dog’s body in 2007. He was put under police protection and moved to a secret location in Sweden.
So which "Al-CIA-Duh" would that be?
The made-up "Al-CIA-Duh?"
Islamic law generally opposes any depiction of the prophet, even favorable, for fear it could lead to idolatry. Vilks is not the first cartoonist to have received death threats for drawings of the prophet. Kurt Westergaard, a Danish cartoonist who in 2005 depicted Mohammed wearing a bomb-shaped turban, also received death threats. In January, a Somali man was arrested after breaking into his home in western Denmark armed with an ax.

"Danish cartoonist saved from attacker; Police say man sought revenge for drawings" by Jan M. Olsen, Associated Press | January 2, 2010
COPENHAGEN - Police foiled an attempt to kill an artist who drew a cartoon depicting the Prophet Mohammed that sparked outrage in the Muslim world, the head of Denmark’s intelligence service said today.
Jakob Scharf, who heads the PET intelligence service, said a 28-year-old Somali man was armed with an ax and a knife when he attempted to enter Kurt Westergaard’s home in Aarhus shortly after 10 p.m. yesterday. The attack on the artist, whose rendering was among 12 that led to the torching of Danish diplomatic offices in predominantly Muslim countries in 2006, was “terror related,’’ Scharf said in a statement.
Yeah, let's get a DENMARK CONNECTION to this LOAD of CRAP, 'eh?
“The arrested man has according to PET’s information close relations to the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab and Al Qaeda leaders in eastern Africa,’’ he said.

Trained by a WHITE GUY?
Scharf said the man is suspected of having been involved in terrorism-related activities during a stay in east Africa. He had been under PET’s surveillance but not in connection with Westergaard, he said. The man, who had a staying permit in Denmark, was to be charged with attempted murder for trying to kill Westergaard and a police officer, Scharf said. His name was not released in line with Danish privacy rules....

Update:
PHILADELPHIA - A US citizen desperate to do something to help suffering Muslims has been charged with using the Internet to recruit jihadist fighters and help terrorists overseas, even agreeing to move to Europe to kill someone, prosecutors said yesterday.
Authorities said the case shows how terror groups are looking to recruit Americans to carry out their goals.
That's what the LYING, FALSE-FLAGGING GOVERNMENT SAYS, 'eh?
A federal indictment charges that Colleen R. LaRose, who called herself JihadJane online and lived in suburban Philadelphia, agreed to kill a Swedish citizen on orders from the unnamed terrorists and traveled to Europe to carry out the murder. It does not say whether the Swede was killed, but LaRose was not charged with murder. A US Department of Justice spokesman would not confirm the case is related to a group of people arrested in Ireland earlier yesterday on suspicion of plotting against a Swedish cartoonist who depicted the Prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog. But a US official speaking on the condition of anonymity said LaRose had targeted the Swedish cartoonist and had online discussions about her plans with at least one of the suspects apprehended in Ireland.
The official also said LaRose, who has blond hair and blue eyes, indicated in her online conversations that she believed her appearance would help her move freely in Sweden to carry out the attack. LaRose is a convert to Islam who actively recruited others, including one American. US Attorney Michael Levy said the indictment does not link LaRose, a US citizen who moved to Europe in August 2009, to any organized terror groups. LaRose, 46, lived in Montgomery County, Pa., before moving to Europe.

And she left her sick family?
That is no very Islamic.
PHILADELPHIA — Colleen R. LaRose spent long days caring for her boyfriend’s father in a second-floor apartment in Pennsburg, a small town north of Philadelphia.
But online, federal authorities say, the devoted caretaker developed a daring alter ego, refashioning herself as “Jihad Jane’’ while helping recruit and finance Muslim terrorists — and eventually moving overseas to kill an artist she perceived as an enemy to Islam.
LaRose, 46, was charged Tuesday with conspiring with jihadist fighters and pledging to commit murder in the name of Muslim holy war, or jihad. The indictment was announced hours after authorities arrested seven suspected terrorists in Ireland allegedly linked to LaRose, who has been in prison since she was arrested Oct. 15 upon her return to the United States.
I guess that is confirmation, 'eh?
And they are JUST ANNOUNCING this NOW?!?!
Like they were WAITING to SPRING IT at the RIGHT TIME, huh?
In e-mails the FBI recovered over 15 months, LaRose agreed to marry an online contact from South Asia so he could move to Europe. She also agreed to become a martyr, the indictment said. Born in Michigan, LaRose moved to Texas as a girl and had married twice by age 24. Her first marriage was at 16, to a man twice her age in Tarrant County, Texas, public records show. There are no records or reports of any children from either union, both of which were long over by the time she met Kurt Gorman of Pennsylvania in about 2005.
LaRose lived with Gorman and his father in Pennsburg, caring for the older man while Gorman worked at his family’s small business in another town, Gorman said this week.
“She was a good-hearted person,’’ he said yesterday. “She pretty much stayed around the house.’’
But online, authorities say, she grew increasingly devoted to a loose band of violent coconspirators from around the world.

"AP Source: Colo. woman held in terror probe" by P. Solomon Banda And Devlin Barrett, Associated Press Writers
DENVER – A Colorado woman has been detained in Ireland in connection with an alleged plot to assassinate a Swedish cartoonist whose sketch offended many Muslims, a U.S. official said Saturday.
Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, was among seven people arrested in Ireland this week as authorities investigate an alleged plot to kill cartoonist Lars Vilks over a 2007 sketch depicting the head of the Prophet Muhammad on a dog's body.
Oh, ANOTHER ONE!!
The drawing provoked terror front Al-Qaida in Iraq to offer a $100,000 bounty for his slaying.
That's what it is, a CIA FRONT!
The U.S. official was not authorized to discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity. After the arrests, U.S. authorities unsealed terror charges against Colleen LaRose, 46, of Pennsylvania. She allegedly went by the name "Jihad Jane" to recruit others online to kill the cartoonist.
It's not clear whether Paulin-Ramirez might face terror charges. Her mother Christina Mott, of Leadville, Colo., told The Associated Press that she learned of her daughter's arrest in the case from the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies. Denver FBI officials said Friday they couldn't confirm that the FBI had contacted Mott about the case.
Dean Boyd, a Justice Department spokesman, said the agency was aware of the arrests in Ireland but had no comment on the identities of those taken into custody. "Our investigation continues," he said. Mott said that Paulin-Ramirez told her family after she left in September that she went to Ireland with her 6-year-old son and married an Algerian whom she met online. Before abruptly leaving Colorado, Paulin-Ramirez had been a straight-A nursing student, her mother said.
Yeah, the more you read the more it stinks.
Earlier this week, Irish authorities announced the arrest of seven Muslims in the alleged plot, only identifying them as three Algerians, a Libyan, a Palestinian, a Croatian and an American woman married to one of the Algerians. They were arrested Tuesday, hours before U.S. authorities unveiled a terror indictment against LaRose. On Saturday, Irish police said that three of those arrested had been released without charges, while three other men and an American woman remain in custody.
The CASE is ALREADY COLLAPSING, folks!
Irish police refused to confirm whether Paulin-Ramirez is the woman in custody, and have declined to release the identities of any of those arrested. The Wall Street Journal, quoting anonymous sources familiar with the case, first reported on its Web site that Paulin-Ramirez was being held in the alleged plot.
Christine Mott said she's concerned for the welfare of her grandson, who has been placed in the custody of Ireland's foster care system. "This is about my baby," Christine Mott said. "We need some help to get this baby back. I'm concerned about my daughter but I'm concerned about our baby boy because he shouldn't be caught in the middle of this."
The Motts said Paulin-Ramirez announced to her family last spring that she was converting to Islam and began wearing headscarves, and later a hijab. "It came out of left field," Christine Mott said. "I knew she was talking to these people online... What caused her to turn her back on her country, on her family and become this person? I don't know how or why. All I know is she was in contact with this Jihad Jane. "The only thing I could think of is that they brainwashed her."
Hate to suggest it, but ever hear of Project MK Ultra or Operation Bluebird, readers?
Irish police say LaRose visited Ireland in September and spent about two weeks with the Algerian-American couple and other suspects. Investigators believe she began communicating last year with the Irish-based suspects in member-only Internet chat rooms. Her stepfather, George Mott, said the FBI seized a desktop computer in late September but did not tell the family what they found. Christine Mott said her daughter was getting 4.0 grades as she studied to become a nurse practitioner and was working a $30,000 job at Eagle Valley Medical Clinic in nearby Edwards.
And she GAVE IT ALL UP, huh?
The Motts said Paulin-Ramirez began to withdraw and argue with her parents about her religion in the months after announcing her conversion.

"Colorado woman questioned in plot to kill cartoonist; Irish police free her, three others without charge" by Ivan Moreno, Associated Press | March 14, 2010
LEADVILLE, Colo. — Four people, including a Colorado woman, arrested over an alleged plot to assassinate Swedish artist Lars Vilks have been freed without charge, but three others remain in custody, Irish police said yesterday.
Christine Mott of Leadville identified the US woman as her daughter, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31. Mott said she had been informed of Paulin-Ramirez’s arrest by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies....
Her Muslim stepfather, 59, George Mott said: “We were enemies. We couldn’t even speak to each other.’’
Paulin-Ramirez left Leadville, an old mining town, on Sept. 11....
The tall tale just gets BETTER and BETTER, doesn't it?!
Christine Mott described her daughter as troubled single mother who had the “mentality of an abused woman’’ and who, in trying to escape her loneliness, may have spiraled into the depths of Islam extremism.....
Sigh.
Mott said her daughter was teaching him to hate Christians as she grew more distant from her family....
Christine Mott said Paulin-Ramirez spent much of her time on the computer but she didn’t always know what her daughter was doing. She said her daughter was married three times before she left for Ireland, and asserted that her first husband used to beat her. Her second husband, the boy’s father, was an illegal immigrant from Mexico and was deported years ago, Christine Mott said.
We have a REAL WINNER HERE, don't we?
She said she believes her daughter was lonely and she “got sucked in’’ and brainwashed by other people.
And I bet I know what agency they worked for.
Growing up Paulin-Ramirez was “the kid in the class everyone picked on and made fun of,’’ her mother said....
Oh, so now you will become a terrorist if you are bullied!!

"Jihad Jane and Jihad Jamie - the False Flag terrorism" by Kurt Nimmo, March 14, 2010
Last week it was Jihad Jane. This week it is Jihad Jamie.
“Colorado mother Jamie Paulin-Ramirez was released from custody in Ireland after being arrested in a plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist who angered many Muslims by portraying Mohammed with a dog’s body,” reports ABC News. “Though Paulin-Ramirez was released, her mother said in an interview with ABC News that the 31-year-old woman had been troubled for years, was taunted as a child over a hearing problem and the family was concerned that she had become radicalized.”
Paulin-Ramirez apparently told her Muslim stepfather that she would strap on a bomb in the name of Jihad. “It breaks my heart,” said her mother. “I don’t understand why she would turn her back on her country, turn her back on her family.”
ABC News asked if the woman the media is now calling Jihad Jamie would actually engage in terrorism. “I would like to believe that she’s not capable of it, but right now I don’t know who or what she is anymore. It’s possible,” said Christine Mott, the woman’s mother.
Mott described Paulin-Ramirez as troubled single mother who had been married three times previously.
On Saturday, the Denver Post reported that Paulin-Ramirez “began spending considerable time on the Internet in Muslim chat rooms, befriending JihadJane and other Muslim extremists — including Najibullah Zazi, the Aurora airport-shuttle driver who recently admitted his plot to bomb the New York City subway system. She also began wearing fundamentalist Muslim clothing, including a hijab, or head cloth covering everything except her eyes.”
Her supposed Facebook page shows a woman covered in a hijab.
Colleen LaRose, aka Jihad Jane, is an obvious patsy who suffered from mental illness. She was so out in the open with her demented jihad rhetoric, she drew the attention of the FBI early on. She was arrested in October but her indictment was not rolled out until last week. It remains to be seen if she was actually capable of engaging in a terrorist plot.
Zazi is the idiot who allegedly traveled to an “al-Qaeda stronghold” in Pakistan to receive weapons training so he could fight with the CIA-Pakistan ISI created Frankenstein monster known as the Taliban. He was supposedly sent back to the United States with notes on how to mix explosives.
“This dumb ass actually bought large volumes of beauty supplies that contained hydrogen peroxide to make TATP, the explosive involved in the 2005 bombings of the London transit system, another MI5/6 op, which had a parallel terror-drill running with it as on 9/11,” writes Jerry Mazza.
If we are to believe the corporate media, it was the purchase of beauty supplies that tipped off the FBI. After his arrest, the feds claim to have found formulas for making triacetone triperoxide, or TATP, on Najibullah Zazi’s laptop.
Zazi did not have a bomb. He was in possession of beauty products. If we can believe the FBI, Zazi had instructions for making a bomb. Instructions for making triacetone triperoxide are all over the internet. All of this makes a pretty weak case that Zazi the airport shuttle driver was a terrorist.
(Also see: The Zionist MSM's Zigs and Zags in the Zazi Case)
And then there is the case of Sharif Mobley, a New Jersey man arrested in Yemen and accused of working with al-Qaeda. “An American seized in Yemen in a sweep of suspected al-Qaida members had been a laborer at six U.S. nuclear power plants, and authorities are investigating whether he had access to sensitive information or materials that would be useful to terrorists,” the Associated Press reported last week.
(Also see: Al-CIA-Duh's Ship Has Come In!)
After it was claimed the supposed Christmas bomber, Abdul Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab, received instructions from al-Qaeda in Yemen, the impoverished country’s government “enthusiastically” accepted aid from the United States, according to USA Today. It now has a perfectly good reason to invent al-Qaeda terrorists out of thin air in order to feed at the U.S. foreign aid trough.
On January 27, the Detroit News reported that the State Department refused to revoke Abdulmutallab’s visa despite the fact that he was on a terror watch list and allowed him to board a plane in Amsterdam. He was escorted to the flight by a “sharp-dressed” man and videotaped while in flight.
(See: Underwear Bomber)
All of this represents a full-court press on the part of the government and the corporate media to invent a scary homegrown Muslim threat and eventually demand more violations of the Bill of Rights and that more money be thrown down the global war on phony terrorism rat hole.
“You can’t miss the absurdist strain, but neither can you miss the deadly seriousness of it all, as deadly as the massacre at Fort Hood,” writes Mike Littwin for the Denver Post. “This is not to say there’s a terrorist, blond or otherwise, under every bed or that, to confuse matters more, we don’t have decidedly non-Muslim anti-government types who fly planes into federal buildings or try to attack the Pentagon. But the growing concern among anti-terrorist experts is the rise of home-grown Islamist terror.”
(Related: A Hooded Cover Story and What Will the Next Domestic Terrorist Look Like?)
In order for this to work, however, the government will need to come up with terrorists who are not so obviously mentally or emotionally disturbed and incapable of pulling terrorist attacks. Peroxide and underwear bombers will not cut it even with sensationalistic headlines and incessant corporate media hype.

"No word from freed woman, mother says" by Associated Press | March 15, 2010
LEADVILLE, Colo. — A Leadville woman who says she is the mother of an American held and later released in Ireland over an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist said yesterday she does not know where her daughter or grandson may be.
I'm sure the authorities are keeping an eye on her, right?
Christine Mott said she learned from federal law enforcement agencies that her 31-year-old daughter, Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, had been arrested. Irish police said Saturday that they had released an American woman and three others in connection with the alleged plot to kill Lars Vilks, who depicted the prophet Muhammad in a 2007 sketch with the body of a dog. Authorities would not confirm whether those released included Paulin-Ramirez.
They throw people in jail for questioning Holocaust™ but you can insult Islam all you want.
That is the West's idea of free speech?
Mott said yesterday she had not heard from federal authorities, Paulin-Ramirez, or her 6-year-old grandson, Christian. “The only thing I care about is getting that little boy back in the United States where he is safe,’’ she said.
Seems like the CONCERN for the CHILD would warrant SOME KIND of state intervention, huh?
I mean, MSM wants to tear down the Catholic Church over kids, and the government is supposed to care so much about them. WTF?
Paulin-Ramirez lived in Blue Springs, Mo., before moving to Leadville, her mother said. She told her family last year that she had converted to Islam. Paulin-Ramirez left Leadville with her son on Sept. 11, later telling her family that she went to Ireland and married an Algerian whom she met online, Mott said....

"American says she didn’t plot to kill artist; Online she was ‘Jihad Jane,’ officials allege" by Maryclaire Dale, Associated Press | March 19, 2010
PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania woman accused of trolling the Internet as “Jihad Jane’’ denied in court yesterday that she sought to kill a Swedish artist targeted by radical Muslims or agreed to marry a terrorism suspect to help him get travel documents.
I was wondering what she looked like.
Colleen R. LaRose, 46, of Pennsburg smiled at her public defenders when she entered the federal courtroom for her arraignment. The judge set a May 3 trial date on charges in the four-count indictment. LaRose was accused of conspiring with fighters overseas and pledging to commit murder in the name of a Muslim holy war, or jihad. She was arrested Oct. 15 while returning to Philadelphia from Europe and remained in federal custody during an investigation.
US Representative Charles Dent, a Republican from Pennsylvania, said he learned through meetings with the FBI and other briefings that LaRose had been cooperating with authorities pursuing the international probe. LaRose lived in his district.
So what kind of torture did they use?
The indictment was filed March 4 and made public five days later after authorities rounded up seven terror suspects in Ireland. Those suspects are linked to LaRose, according to a US official not authorized to discuss the case who had spoken previously on the condition of anonymity. At the brief hearing, LaRose pleaded not guilty to conspiring to aid terrorists, conspiring to kill someone overseas, lying to the FBI, and stealing her former boyfriend’s passport. Authorities were on her trail as early as July 2009, when the FBI interviewed her about more than a year’s worth of online posts and messages, including a 2008 YouTube video in which she said she was “desperate to do something’’ to ease the suffering of Muslims.
Yeah, put out a YouTube video! Pffft!
She denied to agents that she had used the screen name “Jihad Jane’’ or had sent any of the messages recovered, which included fund-raising appeals for the jihadist cause, according to the indictment. The suspects detained in Ireland include Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, a Colorado woman whose mother said she talked about jihad with her Muslim stepfather, according to the US official. LaRose had left the United States for Europe on Aug. 23, though her specific destination has not been revealed.
LaRose’s live-in boyfriend of five years, Kurt Gorman of Pennsburg, did not attend the hearing. Gorman has said that he knew nothing of her interest in Islam and that she disappeared without saying a word.
So what card did her CIA handler flash her?
LaRose spent most of her life in Texas, where she dropped out of high school, married at 16 and again at 24, and had been arrested for a few minor crimes, records show.... As she moved through her 40s without a job or any hobbies, Gorman said, she started spending more time online.
Yeah, whatever you do, don't do that!
You might learn the truth about things, and the lying, agenda-pushing, war-promoting newspapers wouldn't want that!
Just BELIEVE WHATEVER S*** THEY PUT on the PAGE, 'murkns!
Though he did not consider her religious, and she apparently never joined a mosque, LaRose had by 2008 declared herself “desperate’’ to help Muslims in the YouTube video, prosecutors say.
She never even joined a mosque?
Oh, STINK!!!!!!!!!!!
“In my view, she sort of slipped sideways into Islam. . . . There may have been some seduction into it, by one or more people,’’ said Frank Farley, a Temple University psychologist....
I have no doubt she was RECRUITED, yeah!
From June 2008 through October 2009, LaRose, who also allegedly called herself “Fatima Rose,’’ went online to recruit male fighters for the cause, find women with Western passports to marry them, and raise money for the holy war, the indictment charged....
Yeah, FBI knew all about it and LET HER DO IT!!

Until now, that is!
"2d woman charged in ‘Jihad Jane’ terror case; Suspect returned to US from Ireland" by Devlin Barrett, Associated Press | April 3, 2010WASHINGTON — Federal prosecutors filed terrorism charges yesterday against a pregnant American woman — the second woman charged in the so-called Jihad Jane case.
She's pumping out another one?
The two are accused of plotting online to attend a terrorist training camp.
So you DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO DO ANYTHING anymore, huh, American?
Is that freedom?
Jamie Paulin-Ramirez flew from Ireland yesterday to Philadelphia, where she was arrested by agents with the joint terrorism task force. Her 6-year-old son flew with her and was placed in the custody of child protective service workers.
I thought no one knew where they were?
WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!
A US official said Paulin-Ramirez is pregnant. The official was not authorized to discuss that detail and spoke on condition of anonymity. Last month, authorities in Ireland detained Paulin-Ramirez, originally from Colorado, and six others as they investigated an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist whose drawing had offended many Muslims. Those seven suspects in Ireland were linked to Colleen LaRose, who had traveled to Europe but was arrested last fall when she returned to the United States.
The new indictment charges that LaRose and Paulin-Ramirez, 31, separately traveled to Europe to support violent jihad, or Muslim holy war. The court papers also say that once LaRose was in Europe, she invited Paulin-Ramirez to join her to attend a “training camp.’’
Pffft!
Paulin-Ramirez, prosecutors charge, accepted the invitation and asked to bring her 6-year-old son with her. She and the boy traveled to Europe last September and on the day of her arrival, she married a co-conspirator whom she knew only from online discussions, authorities said. Last August, the pair allegedly had a computer conversation....
And HE KNOCKED HER UP QUICK, huh?
Pffft!
Prosecutors alleged that LaRose called herself “Jihad Jane’’ in Internet conversations, but she denied that when questioned by the FBI. She has pleaded not guilty. LaRose apparently spent long hours online in recent years while caring for her boyfriend’s elderly father in a small eastern Pennsylvania town. The congressman who represents the district said she had cooperated with authorities after her arrest last fall, which went unannounced until the seven suspects in Ireland were detained in March.
Paulin-Ramirez’s mother, Christine Mott, said she had heard that her daughter returned to the United States yesterday. “She’s in some serious, serious trouble,’’ Mott said tearfully in a phone call from her home in Leadville, Colo. Mott said she didn’t know whether her daughter was pregnant. She said she was concerned about her grandson.
Mott said she was also worried about her daughter.
“My daughter’s not a monster,’’ she said. “These people came into my home through the Internet and they seduced a very lonely, lonely person. If that can happen to me, it can happen to anybody.’’Yeah, ANYONE with SHIT for BRAINS!!!!!!!
And look at the selection you have here in AmeriKa!
