The CIA's Cuban Cigars

Guaranteed to blow up in your face.

"Cuban dissidents allowed to march" by Associated Press | May 3, 2010

HAVANA — Cuba allowed a small group of dissidents to hold a protest march yesterday after the country’s top Roman Catholic clergyman negotiated with authorities, ending three weeks of ugly confrontations....

No reason was given for the government’s about-face, just as no reason was given for the decision to stop the protests in April.

On the past three weekends, as the women emerged from church, waiting Cuban officials told them not to march, and crowds of progovernment counterprotesters surrounded them. Last weekend, the group members stood under a large ficus tree for seven hours while the counterprotesters screamed at them.

The fact that the agenda-pushing AmeriKan MSM did not like the "counterprotesters" tells you something right there.

The lovely Cuban ladies of the CIA?

And honestly, I would not be surprised if this next item were CIA sabotage.

Been doing it to the Cubans for over 50 years now.

"Cuba says sugar harvest is worst in more than a century" by Anne-Marie Garcia, Associated Press | May 6, 2010

HAVANA — Cuba said yesterday that this year’s sugar harvest is the least productive in more than a century....

It said there had not been such a poor sugar campaign since 1905....

The island once was a world leader in sugar, annually producing 6 million to 7 million tons, and the communist government once made the annual harvest a point of revolutionary pride, regularly sending brigades of city office workers into the countryside to boost output.

The collapse of the Soviet Bloc combined with a continuing US embargo to erase the country’s biggest guaranteed markets and low global commercial prices undermined the industry, which also has been short on investment.

Cuban officials have continually tried to increase efficiency if not output, but Monday’s ouster of Sugar Minister Luis Manuel Avila indicates they have not had the desired success....

Difficult when the CIA is running a covert ops campaign against you.
