Early Evening New Broadcast From Boston

I don't watch TV news, sorry.

"Woman files lawsuit against Herald and Channel 7" by David Abel, Globe Staff | April 9, 2010

The codirector of a local nonprofit organization has filed a lawsuit against the Boston Herald and WHDH-TV (Channel 7), asserting that the news outlets defamed her by falsely reporting that she had sex with an inmate in the visitors’ area of a prison in Bridgewater.

They do that to everyone; what makes you so special?

She isn't Muslim, is she?

The stories, which ran in the paper and on television last year, questioned whether state Representative Gloria Fox, a Roxbury Democrat, abused her powers when she brought Joanna Marinova, 27, of Dorchester, to visit Marinova’s boyfriend in a high-security unit at the Old Colony Correctional Center. The stories said Marinova had previously been caught having sex at the prison with her boyfriend, Darrell Jones, a convicted murderer.

Shame! Shame, shame!

“It’s a false accusation that held her up to ridicule and scorn in her community,’’ said David H. Rich, a Boston lawyer representing Marinova, who helps run Press Pass TV, which assists local youths in producing videos. “She has been effectively ostracized from the social services community in which she works. She became a pariah in the circles in which she works to promote social change.’’

That's why I would never talk to MSM.

Rich said Marinova now has to work four jobs to earn a living and has suffered emotionally and medically. He would not say how much money Marinova is seeking, saying only that she was “seeking substantial monetary damages.’’

Gee, where was she able to find them, and can she give up a couple?
