Paired together, folks.

Yeah, I know it's Mother's Day; however, I view such things as insincere coming from a war-promoting, agenda-pushing that lies their sons and daughters (and mothers and fathers) into wars and occupations.

If they had changed their tune after Iraq I might be more forgiving, but the lying is even worse now.

You can pair these sets up, too:

Today:
Navy to allow women on submarines

Yeah, you already reported that, Globe.

Why I should I buy a "newspaper" today for $4 a throw when I am getting recycled s***? I'd rather put it towards flowers for Mom.

"Fire prompts T to speed wire repairs; Electrical work will cause Red Line delays; blaze exacerbates agency’s financial woes" by Eric Moskowitz, Globe Staff | May 1, 2010

MBTA officials, spurred into action by a fire that closed three subway lines and sent 20 people to the hospital late Thursday, pledged yesterday to speed the long-term replacement of the badly aging electrical cables that course through the nation’s oldest subway system.

Where did ALL THAT TAX and FARE MONEY GO, huh?

Into a black hole but not the subways, 'eh, Bostonian?

But (sigh) they warned that immediate repairs to the area destroyed by fire would cause Red Line delays downtown at least through next week.

The fire marked the second time in nine months that faulty wiring ignited in a tunnel and caused significant damage and delays. A similar incident in September prompted the T to hire a consultant to study its electrical problems, after which officials pledged to spend up to $200 million over five years for new wiring and cables....

There is your tax dough at work. Wonder what the overcharge will be on that favoritism.

The fire illuminated a larger problem for the financially strapped transit agency, said Brian Kane, budget and policy analyst for the MBTA Advisory Board: The T does not have the money to ensure that essential systems do not malfunction, he said, citing both its massive debt burden and lack of a dedicated revenue source for maintenance....

The fire illuminated.

They are so witty, these reporters at the Glob.

That's where your money is going: interest payments to banks.

That's why your T sucks, Boston.

Like I have typed before, everyone is up for insult in the Boston Globe except for the (rhymes with) you-know-whos.
