Fish Fry in Fairhaven

And wait until you smell the lame-ass excuse the authorities are offering as an explanation:

"Thousands of fish wash up in Fairhaven" by Patrick G. Lee, Globe Correspondent | August 10, 2010

Fairhaven fishermen and residents woke up early yesterday to the sight — and smell — of thousands of dead menhaden floating in the water.

No, that is in MISSISSIPPI, Massachusetts!!

Robert Hobson said he has never seen anything like it during his 40 years as a fisherman. “I ran into piles and piles and piles of them,’’ he said, describing the scene he saw as he set out across the water. “On the surface, I saw them for about 3 miles, all the way across to Buzzards Bay.’’

Hobson, a 69-year-old Fairhaven resident, spotted the dead fish before 6 and called the harbormaster, David Darmofal, who had been alerted by other fishermen and residents. The fish were washing up, mostly on the western edges of Sconticut Neck and West Island, east of Fairhaven.

Menhaden, which can grow to 15 inches, travel in large schools and are easily distressed in hot weather and narrow or enclosed waterways, said Lisa Capone, spokeswoman for the state Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. She said state biologists determined that a lack of oxygen in the water caused the sudden, mass death.

With another lie?

“They must have been chased by a predator up an estuary, and once they died, they were flushed out,’’ said Darmofal. “The tide and current have carried them over here to Fairhaven.’’

Now that is REALLY DIVING DEEP for BULLS***!!
