WASHINGTON — The United States intercepted electronic communications this week among senior operatives of Al Qaeda, in which the terrorists discussed attacks against US interests in the Middle East and North Africa, US officials said Friday.

The intercepts and a subsequent analysis of them by US intelligence agencies prompted the United States to issue an unusual global travel alert to US citizens on Friday, warning of the potential for terrorist attacks by operatives of Al Qaeda and their associates from Sunday through the end of August.
Why stop at the end of August? All of a sudden the "terrorists" are going to stop?
The bulletin to travelers and expatriates, issued by the State Department, came less than a day after the department announced it was closing nearly two dozen US diplomatic missions in the Middle East and North Africa, including facilities in Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Britain said Friday that it would close its embassy in Yemen on Monday and Tuesday because of “increased security concerns.”
It is unusual for the United States to come across discussions among senior Al Qaeda operatives about operational planning — through informants, intercepted emails, or eavesdropping on cellphone calls. So when the high-level intercepts were collected and analyzed this week, senior officials at the CIA, State Department, and White House immediately seized on their significance. Members of Congress have been provided classified briefings on the matter, officials said Friday.

Representative Ed Royce, a California Republican and the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said Friday that the warning was linked to an Al Qaeda threat focused on the Middle East and Central Asia.
To date, the only Al Qaeda affiliate that has shown a desire and ability to attack US facilities overseas is Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, a group based in Yemen.
The Al Qaeda affiliate announced in July that its second-in-command, Saeed al-Shihri, a former Guantánamo Bay prisoner, had died as a result of injuries sustained in a US missile strike in Yemen last year. But Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri, the group’s seminal bomb maker, remains at large, and, according to US officials, has trained a cadre of skilled protégés ready to take his place should he be killed.

The congressmen who take the most money from the military-industrial complex – I mean uber-hawks – like Lindsey Graham and Saxby Chambliss say that the new terror warning shows that NSA spying is needed, after all.

Initially, it doesn’t matter whether or not there is a real new terror threat because the government’s mass spying doesn’t keep us safe . In fact, it distracts energy and resources away from actual counter-terror measures which would actually help to protect us … and thus makes us more vulnerable to terror attacks.
Indeed, if the risk of terror is increasing again, it’s because the government has squandered its intelligence resources on political shenanigans – and on counter-productive anti-terror strategies – instead of focusing on keeping us safe.
(It may also have something to do with the fact that the U.S. government is directly supporting Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups in Syria and many other countries.)
Of course, terror warnings have long been used for political purposes. For example, FBI agents and CIA intelligence officials, a top constitutional and military law expert, Time magazine, the Washington Post and others have all said that U.S. government officials “were trying to create an atmosphere of fear in which the American people would give them more power”. Indeed, the former Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge admitted that he was pressured to raise terror alerts to help Bush win reelection.
The threat from Al Qaeda – while real – has been greatly exaggerated. Former U.S. National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski – also a top foreign policy advisor to President Obama – told the Senate that the war on terror is a “a mythical historical narrative“. (And statistics arguably show that many terror attacks are actually carried out by non-Muslims.)
Is it entirely a coincidence that the current terror scare comes mere days after a new, widely-quoted Pew poll revealed that Americans are now more concerned about civil liberties than terrorism?

And right after NSA boss Alexander was publicly booed and ridiculed?
It might be. But false threats have long been alleged to promote political agendas. For example, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld made false claims exaggerating the threat posed by Russia’s weapons in the 1970s to justify huge increases in military spending.
And there is a mountain of evidence that government officials intentionally lied about Iraqi WMDs.
And most people don’t remember, but the government also tried to falsely blame the anthrax attacks on Iraq as a justification for war.
Other historical examples include:
- The U.S. Navy’s own historians now say that the sinking of the USS Maine — the justification for America’s entry into the Spanish-American War — was probably caused by an internal explosion of coal, rather than an attack by the Spanish.
- It is also now well-accepted that the Gulf of Tonkin Incident which led to the Vietnam war was a fiction (confirmed here).
- Two lies were used to justify the 1991 Gulf War: the statement that Iraqis murdered Kuwaiti babies and the statement that a quarter of a million Iraqi troops were massed on the border with Saudi Arabia (see also this article)(technically, the statement about Kuwaiti babies did not come from the U.S. government, but from a public relations firm hired by the government).
In any event, it might be smart to take the claim that the new terror warnings justify NSA spying with a wee grain of salt.

After weeks under heavy pressure for limitless spying on people everywhere the U.S. intelligence services conviniently detect a "threat" of some undefined future attacks. The "detection", we are of course told, was only possible because of limitless spying on people everywhere:

The intercepts and a subsequent analysis of them by American intelligence agencies prompted the United States to issue an unusual global travel alert to American citizens on Friday, warning of the potential for terrorist attacks by operatives of Al Qaeda and their associates beginning Sunday through the end of August.Just a month ago we were told that the "terrorists" are changing their communication because of the NSA snooping leaks:

And what is it about these "terrorists" that the "threat" from them ends after August 31?
Even some "analysts and Congressional officials" the NYT mentions in one short paragraph find this somewhat suspicious:

But the sentence continues:
... and that if it showed the intercepts had uncovered a possible plot, even better.So it would be even better if now, as a warning has been given, something would happen to some U.S. embassy in the Middle East. That then would justify the warning and of course also justify the intelligence services NSA's limitless spying on people everywhere that made the warning possible.
Hmm - how much does it cost, let's say in Yemen, to have some guys on a motorcycle fire a few shots at an embassy guard?

I really should not need to tell you this by now, especially if you found your way to a site such as this, but the recent terror threat hyped in the mainstream ziopress can mean only one thing -
The zionists are staging a terror attack with the help of the CIA, the blind eye of the NSA, and most likely, funding from several large corporations. My guess is that it is to justify a nuclear strike on Iran and possibly a few other throw ins, such as a gun ban in America. At this point I would much rather have them blame hapless Arabs or Persians, but no matter who they blame remember that there is only ONE middle eastern clan sprouting wars against the world, and it is the only middle eastern clan with Eastern European Khazar roots.
I am also paying increased attention to the proven hackability of cars and the NSA silence on this issue as well, and I would like to pop the big question - since the NSA listens to everything, WHY ARE THEY NOT RATTING OUT ISRAEL OR ANY OF THE OTHER REAL CRIMINALS, SUCH AS THOSE WHO MURDERED HASTINGS? Why are they silent about those who crashed the Spanish train, or the other recent crashes for that matter? No doubt the NSA will point the finger at the correct patsy and play the hero AFTER THE TERROR ATTACK, all the while they know who the real perpetrator is and if there be a Snowden among those who know who the real perpetrators are you can count on the press to be completely silent while Fort Leavenworth receives a new inmate.
If you have any question as to who these huge "intelligence" agencies really serve, you need to look no further than your local Synagogue. Never in the history of the world have those who are so evil had so much power to gather information on innocent people who oppose them, and so much silence with regard to how this power is abused. Do I think a revolution is possible now? I would say no, UNLESS everyone is smart enough to abandon all technology while doing so and do it the old fashioned way. Absent cell phones, land line phones, snail mail intercepts, internet intercepts, the microphone in every late model car, the smart TV, any web cams or other internet connected devices such as an X box and whatever other snooping device there is that you would never expect, such as a Samsung digital camera with WIFI, the NSA is blind. To get your privacy back you are going to have to ditch your gadgets and live in the 80's. Ready to do it?
