Stay Out of Springfield

Why even bother voting anymore? The state never listens anyway.

"City votes to toughen marijuana fines

Getting caught smoking marijuana in Springfield could soon become a lot more expensive. The City Council voted 9-0 yesterday to add $100 to $300 to the state penalties for using marijuana in a park or other public place. Question Two, passed by voters last November, decriminalized possession of small amounts of marijuana and imposed a fine of $100 for those who are caught smoking the drug in a park or other public place. But the law also gave cities and towns the option of tacking on additional fines (AP)."

I think I'm going to stand on the corner of the street tonight and light up a blunt.

Don't know where to get the weed, but I'm really feeling an urge!
