Occupation Iraq: 15 Attacks a Day

They SURE are QUIET because we NEVER HEAR about them from the obfuscating, omitting, Zionist-controlled, agenda-pushing, war-promoting, Amerikan MSM!!!

"we have less than 100 a week"

But more than 50, so.....

See: Occupation Iraq: Israel's IEDs for why I no longer believe in "suiciders" or anything else the agenda-pushing, war-promoting, Zionist AmeriKan war press has to report about Muslims!! Odd how the violence always increases or decreases depending on the agenda of a certain group that happens to control the U.S. government and foreign policy, huh?

I'm sick of the lies, how 'bout you?

"Attacks rise south of Baghdad, fall nationwide, US says" by David Rising, Associated Press | March 26, 2009

CAMP STRIKER, Iraq - Attacks on Iraqi security forces have increased in an area south of Baghdad where the Iraqis are in control, even as violence nationwide has fallen to levels of the first months of the war, US officers said yesterday.

Whatever, MSM: Slow Saturday Special: Iraqi Surge of Violence

The spike in attacks has not risen so much that it would affect US plans to turn over more security responsibility to the Iraqis, General Carter Ham, the commander of US Army Europe, was told during a visit with Europe-based units.... In the last month, however, attacks on Iraqi army and police leaders had increased, Major Pat Kaune, intelligence chief of the First Armored Division's Second Brigade Combat Team, said.

We've been hearing the same shit for six f****** years!

Kaune gave no figures but added that "we don't see any trends that are cause for concern that the ISF [Iraqi security forces] can't handle."

His brigade's area includes south Baghdad and a belt of communities around the southern rim of the capital, where insurgents used to rig car bombs for attacks in the city. The area was targeted by US soldiers during the 2007 troop surge, which largely succeeded in shutting down car bomb factories there.

Yup, George W. Bush's surge won iraq -- except we gotta stay.

But the increase in attacks there underscores the resilience of both Sunni and Shi'ite militants and will test the ability of Iraq's security forces to maintain order as the United States draws down its military presence this year.

And CUI BONO, 'eh?

Despite the local spike, US military spokesman Major General David Perkins said attacks nationwide had fallen to levels of the early months of the war, which began with the US-led invasion in March 2003. "At the height of the violence, we were averaging 1,250 attacks a week," Perkins told reporters yesterday. "Now, many times, we have less than 100 a week."

Perkins said that in January and February of 2007, 148 US troops were killed in action in Iraq. In the first two months of this year, 19 troops died as a result of hostile fire.

Of course, NONE should have died because we SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN THERE!!! We INVADED and are OCCUPYING because of LIES, remember?

Of course, never forget the

"worry that the gains still could unravel."

Aren't you sick of being fed war-promoting shit as news, America?

And as if ON CUE:

"Car bomb blast kills 26 at Baghdad market; Attack follows removal of safety barriers" by Raheem Salman and Ned Parker, Los Angeles Times | March 27, 2009

BAGHDAD - A car bomb devastated an outdoor market in eastern Baghdad yesterday, killing 26 people and wounding another 37, police and medical sources said.

The attack in the predominantly Shi'ite Shaab district came about a week after Iraqi forces had removed blast walls from the area based on the belief that security was improving....

Is the FALSE-FLAG STENCH ever REEKING HERE? Who would want to KEEP the CONCRETE WALLS UP, huh?

Abu Miriam described seeing dismembered bodies in the street and dead women and children. The explosion set ablaze cars, shattered car windows, and left the smell of burnt flesh in the air. Others described women wandering the street, shouting for loved ones.

I can't take it anymore.

The blast was the third major attack in the capital in March. Although the overall number of civilian dead is far lower than during the country's civil war several years ago, hopes that Iraq could shed the bombings and killings that have defined the country since the US invasion in 2003 have proved illusory.

Once again, CUI BONO?!

And IF all the so-called gains are an ILLUSION, well then, the MSM LIED about Iraq AGAIN, huh? In fact, they NEVER STOPPED!!!!!

The Iraqi government has been eager to remove the cement barriers that wall off districts, major intersections, markets, and other gathering spots where militants once set off car bombs sometimes two and three times daily.

This just STINKS all the more the FURTHER you read, huh?

Many of the blast walls were placed around the city by the US military during its troop buildup in 2007 and proved effective in slowing the pace of the country's civil war.

Let me introduce you to an idea called a CONVENTIONAL MYTH (something the MSM promotes to no end)

"Prof. Zelikow’s area of academic expertise is the creation and maintenance of, in his words, 'public myths’ or 'public presumptions’ which he defines as 'beliefs (1) thought to be true ( although not necessarily known with certainty) and (2) shared in common within the relevant political community.’ In his academic work and elsewhere he has taken a special interest in what he has called 'searing’ or 'molding’ events (that) take on transcendent’ importance and therefore retain their power even as the experiencing generation passes from the scene….He has noted that 'a history’s narrative power is typically linked to how readers relate to the actions of individuals in the history; if readers cannot make the connection to their own lives, then a history may fail to engage them at all." ("Thinking about Political History" Miller center Report, winter 1999, p 5-7)

Isn’t that the same as saying there is neither history nor truth; that what is really important is the manipulation of epochal events so they serve the interests of society’s managers? Thus, it follows that if the government can create their own "galvanizing events", then they can write history any way they choose.

If that’s the case, then perhaps the
entire war on terror is cut from whole cloth; a garish public relations maneuver devoid of meaning."

In this case: BUSH WON IRAQ!!!!

The barriers not only proved to be a real obstacle to car bombs but also helped slow the movement of Shi'ite and Sunni armed groups around Baghdad. As effective as the blast walls were, they became a symbol for the Iraqi government of Baghdad's collapse into sectarian war and the lack of normalcy. In 2008, as life gradually improved, the Iraqi government started talking about removing the cement barriers.

Well, this will show 'em!!!

On Wednesday an Iraqi military spokesman announced plans to remove more barriers around the capital, though many streets remain blocked. After the blast walls were removed recently from the street by the Jamia outdoor market, more shops opened and the area became even busier.

"The bad people, those who don't want any good thing for Iraq, left a car bomb near the market," said Mohamed Hatim, 25, a university student. "It became easier for them to leave a car bomb or a smaller bomb."

Need I even comment, readers?

*************

Despite the recent bombings, US military spokesman Major General David Perkins told reporters Wednesday that violence in Iraq was at its lowest levels since the early months of the US-led occupation.

Some Sunni leaders from the Sons of Iraq paramilitary groups, who broke away from Islamist groups, said they feared violence was rising because the US military was releasing too many former militants from its detention centers as it closes down those facilities and hands operations to the Iraqi government.

Right, so let's keep innocents in our torture jails. I'm getting so sick of the AmeriKan joosmedia and its shit war propmotions.

This is SICK, AmeriKa!! Your NEWSPAPERS are SICK and SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

"If the American forces release the prisoners arbitrarily, of course they will return to do the bad things," said Sameer Ahmad Salman Azzawi, a Sunni paramilitary leader from the Baghdad neighborhood of Adhamiyah. "Some of them have been organized or recruited inside the detention centers."

I've about had it, readers. I may be cutting back on the posts soon. I can't keep covering bullshit.
