BAGHDAD - In the evenings, women in black gather at Umm Fatin's house to remember the dead.
Each family in the four neighboring houses in Tahrir, a former Sunni insurgent stronghold in Baqubah, has lost loved ones to bombings or shootings. Yet these deaths and countless others have fallen under the radar of the Iraq war. Nobody keeps an accurate tally of Iraqis killed because nobody knows.
Or if they do endeavor to find out, they get savaged by the MSM and their peers in our Zionist-controlled country.

Of course, look what happens to you when you tell the truth.
As the Iraq conflict approaches its sixth anniversary, the number of American troop deaths - more than 4,250 - has been meticulously logged by the US military. Yet analysts are no closer to knowing how many Iraqi civilians have been killed, and they acknowledge a credible death toll will probably never be recorded.
That sounds like the HOLOHOAX itself! We were fed the six million lie, and God Almighty can't help you in this world if you claim a one less soul. But Iraqis, ah, we'll never know how many died at the hands of that lie. Hell, we killed 2-4 million Vietnamese. Nobody knows how many there, either. But we know all the "suiciders" victims.
Advocates say it is important to keep trying to provide closure and pave the way for reconciliation, as the Americans withdraw and the Iraqi public begins looking forward amid a decline in violence. They also say lessons learned could prevent similar tragedies.
I'll believe it when.... the newspapers prove they've stopped obfuscating, omitting, and lying. And that time is not yet.
"Unfortunately, there will likely never be an accurate statistic of civilian loss in Iraq. But what's important now is to get this right in Afghanistan and future conflicts and to get appropriate help to all Iraqis who've suffered in this war," said Sarah Holewinski, executive director of the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict.

Estimates of the number of Iraqis killed since the war started on March 20, 2003, range from nearly 91,000 to more than 600,000. One study, considered the largest and most scientific so far, concluded that about 151,000 Iraqis died from violence in the first three years of the war. But that survey by the World Health Organization and the Iraqi government included combatant deaths and covered only the period through June 2006. The uncertainty range was in the tens of thousands.
Efforts to count civilian deaths have faced obstacles ranging from brutal violence that prevents on-the-ground reporting to a lack of expertise after the devastation of Iraqi institutions and the loss of records in the chaotic aftermath of the US invasion....
The problems facing efforts to collect data in Iraq have been compounded by a brutal insurgency that has prevented on-the-scene reporting through much of the war....

About 30 percent have been exposed to shootings or bombings. Others have witnessed killings or mutilated bodies. Nearly 10 percent had a family member kidnapped or had been abducted, captured or imprisoned themselves.
The trauma experienced by respondents of Iraq's first nationwide mental health survey, which was released Saturday, was a grim litany of the violence that pushed the country to the brink of civil war.

Much has been documented about the mental effect of war on the U.S.-led forces in Iraq, but the study sought to cast attention on the plight of Iraqis.
"Among those who have mental illnesses in Iraq, they're pretty serious," said Ronald Kessler, a health care policy professor at Harvard Medical School who was involved in the study. "The percent who are suicidally depressed is high."
Wouldn't you be if your whole world, even the physical elements around you, were laid waste? If you had family members murdered because of a lie?
Nearly 70 percent of those who suffered from a mental disorder also said they had considered suicide. The authors said the overall figure suggested that Iraqis have adapted to trauma as a way of life after nearly six years of brutal conflict and previous suffering under Saddam Hussein.

The bomber on Sunday detonated his explosives as he drove his motorcycle into a group of people waiting near a side entrance of the academy, which is in a mainly Shiite area of eastern Baghdad.
Iraqi and U.S. forces sealed off the scene, allowing only ambulances and fire engines to enter. Nervous Iraqi troops fired in the air to prevent onlookers and reporters from getting too close. They accidentally shot at a fire engine but no casualties were reported, according to witnesses.

"We were feeling secure as we were waiting in a well-guarded area.... I am just wondering how a big security breach can occur in such a secured area."
