"WHO official expects to raise alert to the highest level" by Thomas H. Maugh II, Los Angeles Times | May 3, 2009
Why?
LOS ANGELES - .... Good news from Mexico....
The WHO would send developing countries 2 million courses of the antiviral agent Tamiflu from its emergency stockpile. The drug's manufacturer, Roche, said that it would send an additional 3 million doses and that it was scaling up production of the drug....
For the mandatory inoculations due in the fall.
An estimated 200 guests and 100 staff are quarantined in the Hong Kong hotel where the the discovery of H1N1 in a Mexican tourist was staying, and all are receiving Tamiflu....
Somehow there is no vaccine but this stuff works? WTF, ka-ching!
President Obama sounded hopeful in his radio address yesterday morning.
"It may turn out that H1N1 runs its course like ordinary flus, in which case we will have prepared and won't need all these preparations," he said.--more--"
After all this yo-yoing I think I'll just stay in the bed.
No more newspaper runs; I might get swine flu.
"Amid encouraging signs, officials urge vigilance on swine flu" by Peter Schworm and John Guilfoil, Globe Correspondent | May 3, 2009
Despite encouraging signs that the epidemic has leveled off in Mexico and remains relatively mild in the United States, health officials warned it is too soon to rule out more serious consequences.
Yeah, the "crisis" is abating but don't stop panicking, yo-yo!
Mexican officials reported no new flu deaths yesterday and said the expected surge of confirmed cases hadn't materialized.... As the virus continues to spread, with 763 cases now reported worldwide, health officials urged the public to remain vigilant against the threat.
I'm already juggling about eight different things; whadda ya want me to watch?
President Obama, who expressed hope Friday that the virus would be no more harmful than ordinary flu strains, said yesterday that the government is taking precautions against a wider outbreak.
Then what is all the fuss, huh?
Others said the virus appears far less dangerous than initially feared. Scientists analyzing the virus have found that it lacks specific genetic traits of more dangerous strains, and some say there is little evidence the swine flu is more serious than typical influenza....
It is just the AGENDA-PUSHING MEDIA testing us again while the globalists put another piece of their puzzle in place. Called ratcheting it up.!!!
--more--"
And the CENSORSHIP GOES ON and ON, readers, as I STARE at my FINAL Boston Sunday Globe.
CUTS and QUOTES:
"Mike Ryan, global alert and response director for the World Health Organization, which is sending 2.4 million treatments of the antiflu drug Tamiflu to 72 developing countries, said viruses that intially appear weak can transform into something far more ominous. "These viruses mutate, the viruses change," he said....
Very odd that the Globe would ax that from the web, no?
Also see: Imaginary Line Led to Swine Flu Mutation
There is no vaccine for the virus....
Why cut that? Becuase Tamiflu due to make a bundle now?
This is not a situation of crying wolf...
Which is exactly what it is, thank you, lying MSM!
Health officials have to strike a balance between vigilance and overreaction....
Tell it to the MSM!!!
We're still dealing with a low case count...."
EXACTLY! So WHY SNIP and CENSOR, Globe!!!???
No wonder you guys are tanking.
I can't take anymore of this, and it's a signal not to read their website.
I'd say nearly 4,000 posts is enough to prove their lying, omitting, obfuscating, Muslim-hating, agenda-pushing, enemy-creating, war-promoting, Zionist-controlled characteristics.
