Your Mayoral Minute

I generally haven't been covering the mayor's race in Boston; however, I'll link up a few as a courtesy and acknowledgment to my regional followers and readers. Thank you.

"City sold hundreds of lots at big discount

Mayor Thomas M. Menino of Boston has signed off on the sale of hundreds of city-owned lots at a fraction of their assessed value in an effort to get them back on the tax rolls, but the way City Hall doled out the land often has not involved competitive public bidding....

Yeah, I read the rest of that and one point seems to be that he gave the stuff away to friends and the tax rates collected were sub-par; however, upon further reflection, I'm not bothered by what happened if you read the whole piece.

The FACT IS the MAYOR got the PROPERTY OUT of GOVERNMENT HANDS and INTO PRIVATE HANDS and THAT'S a GOOD THING here.

Others not so happy with him:

"Menino fires back at challengers; Exchanges get heated at forum for candidates" by Michael Levenson, Globe Staff | September 4, 2009

Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s three challengers hammered him last night over a lack of minority workers on Boston construction sites, possible misspending of federal housing grants, and the uneven quality of the city’s public schools in a rollicking forum that exposed far more raw emotions than Wednesday’s televised debate.

Menino defended himself against accusation after accusation....

The presence of a live audience of several hundred mostly minority voters added a human element to the forum....

Interesting take!

Certainly not the way a WHITE PERSON who REACTS the SAME WAY about the GOVERNMENT LOOTING and HEALTHCARE FRAUD, 'eh, readers?

See: Turning Healthcare Into Hate

Yup, a WHITE PERSON isn't a human element. Unreal! The bitter jooish supremacism of the paper is really shining through with its agenda-pushing insults lately. Familiar refrain today because it is the same every day.

The thing is written of, by, and for jews and it is really, really obvious now. Once you see it, it makes you sick.

--more--"

Of course, Menino being a Catholic has nothing to do with it, right? Or
this ?

Hey, look at the way the paper treated Kennedy! They were harder on him than I was I didn't even like him! But I'm not going to flog the supremacist horse on you all day, readers. You know its there.
