Chinese Catch-Up

No, American, it is not ketchup imported from China; it is me catching up on what my MSM newspaper has given me the past few days.

"Anger in China is growing over public safety scandals in which children have been the main victims - a concern for the ruling Communist Party, which is concerned about social stability and any challenges to its authority.

--more--"

I'm always amazed that the COMMUNIST CHINESE are MORE CONCERNED about their citizens than the DEMOCRATIC U.S.A.

"Dalai Lama is honored with human rights award; Obama delays meeting with Tibetan leader" by Foster Klug, Associated Press | October 7, 2009

I know it is painful, readers; however,
the guy is a CIA asset. That explains why the college loved the guy, and the overwhelmingly positive coverage that guy gets in the AmeriKan MSM! If they truly honored the man's words they wouldn't be creating enemies with their agenda-pushing, war-promoting lies.

And if he was truly what he says he is, he would shun them.

WASHINGTON - Powerful US lawmakers honored the Dalai Lama with a human rights award yesterday, even as President Obama faced harsh criticism for delaying a meeting with the exiled Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader.

Yeah, MASS-MURDERING WAR CRIMINALS who APPROVED of TORTURE, etc, are GIVING OUT HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD! If it were NOT SO OFFENSIVE it would be IRONIC!

The Dalai Lama and Obama will not meet until after Obama visits Chinese President Hu Jintao in Beijing in November. China reviles the Dalai Lama and pressures foreign governments not to meet with him.

Sort of like what USrael does to certain people, right?

The Obama administration, which needs Chinese support for crucial foreign policy, economic and environmental goals, wants to establish friendly ties between Hu and Obama during next month’s visit. While the Obama administration was accused of kowtowing to Beijing’s wishes, supporters gathered yesterday at the US Capitol as the Tibetan monk was given an award in memory of the late Representative Tom Lantos of California, a Holocaust survivor and longtime champion of human rights....

Hey, a TWO-FER PUMP of PROPAGANDA!!!!

Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the House, said at the ceremony that “unless we speak out for human rights in China and in Tibet, we lose all moral authority to talk about human rights anywhere in the world.’’

Well, WE HAVE ALREADY LOST THAT because of YOU, Madame Speaker!

The WARS based on LIES GO ON and YOU KNEW ABOUT TORTURE because YOU WERE ONE of the SELECT HEADS on INTEL that WERE TOLD of TORTURE!

So, SHUT UP and RESIGN, lady!!!!

Oh, yeah, PALESTINE, Pelosi!! When you DEFEND PALESTINE against ISRAELI WAR CRIMES I will TAKE NOTICE!!!

Representative Frank Wolf, Republican from Virginia, said in a speech in Congress that not inviting the Dalai Lama to the White House this week could lead to other foreign leaders who are worried about angering China brushing off similar chances to meet with him. “I call on the president to stand side-by-side with His Holiness, a man of peace, and align America once again with the oppressed, not the oppressors,’’ Wolf said.

So HE is ADMITTING we are ON the SIDE OF OPPRESSORS -- as we have been for so long -- as well as ONE OURSELVES!!!!

The Dalai Lama has met with the last three sitting US presidents during his visits to Washington. Although China calls him a “wolf in monk’s robes’’ who seeks to split Tibet from the rest of China, the Dalai Lama says he merely wants genuine autonomy for Tibetans. Obama must balance his efforts to develop ties with China with his desire to support the Dalai Lama. He also needs to overcome criticism by those who feel his administration is not doing enough to push Beijing to better address human rights complaints.

Hitlery said women are not as important as Iran ans economy, so take up you complaints with her.

Those who advocate for Tibet see the Dalai Lama’s White House visits as important messages of support for Tibetans and others struggling for human rights.

You mean, LIKE PALESTINIANS?

A White House audience for the Nobel Peace laureate this week, however, would have cast a shadow over Obama’s talks with Hu next month. “You only get one chance to start this the right way,’’ Douglas Paal, a former senior Asia adviser for Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, said of Obama’s relationship with Hu.

Yup, you only get ONE CHANCE to make a FIRST IMPRESSION.

Obama recognizes that how he treats the Dalai Lama will be watched closely - by Beijing, by US lawmakers and voters, and by other world leaders who have been castigated by China for meeting with the Dalai Lama....

PFFFFFTTT!

We could GIVE a S*** about that!

We have MUCH MORE PRESSING CONCERNS like ECONOMY and WARS!!!

This week, the Dalai Lama also plans to meet with Maria Otero, the US special coordinator for Tibetan issues.

That his CIA CASE CONTACT?

Unlike past, private meetings with US presidents, President George W. Bush attended an elaborate public ceremony in 2007 and presented the Dalai Lama with Congress’ highest civilian honor.

Yeah, it
BOTHERED ME that the DL MET with that MASS-MURDERER and was ALL JOKEY with him!

"China scolds US on Dalai Lama honor" by Associated Press | October 10, 2009

BEIJING - China yesterday accused the United States of meddling in its domestic affairs after lawmakers recognized the Dalai Lama with an award for his efforts to improve human rights.

Congress presented the award, which was in honor of the late US human rights activist Tom Lantos, to the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Tuesday. China reviles the Dalai Lama and has pressured foreign governments not to meet with him.

“We urge some members of the US Congress to respect the history and the facts, recognize the true face of Dalai Lama, and stop using the Tibet issue to interfere in China’s internal affairs,’’ Ma Zhaoxu, Foreign Ministry spokesman, said in a statement posted on the ministry’s website.

I agree there.

The criticism was made even though President Obama did not meet the Dalai Lama during the trip. Obama said he would not meet the spiritual leader until after he visits President Hu Jintao in November. The Obama administration, which needs Chinese support for crucial foreign policy, economic, and environmental goals, seeks to balance efforts to establish friendly ties with China with the desire to support the Dalai Lama, who has called for more autonomy for Tibetans.

Which TOSSES the "human rights" out the window. WTF are we HARANGUING people about HUMAN RIGHTS, anyway? WEES TORTURE!

China says Tibet has been part of its territory for four centuries, and it has aggressively governed the Himalayan region since communist troops took control there in 1951. Many Tibetans say that they were effectively independent for most of their history and that Chinese rule is eroding their Buddhist culture.

Except the Chinese are also Buddhist, but....

It's that whole selecting a successor thing, isn't it?

Of course, THIS is the ONLY THING the MSM AGENDA-PUSHERS really care about:

BEIJING - Premier Wen Jiabao said yesterday that China intends to strengthen its cooperation with Iran, an indication Beijing would oppose growing calls in the West for additional sanctions against the Islamic regime for its nuclear program....

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said in Beijing on Wednesday that talking about sanctions was premature.

Slow Saturday Special: China Keeps the Peace in Korea

Wen’s remarks yesterday appeared to suggest that Beijing is also unlikely to accept a new UN sanctions resolution. China and Russia are both veto-wielding members of the Security Council and have long defended Tehran by watering down resolutions.

Well, ONCE the U.S. VETOES the ISRAELI WAR CRIMES INVESTIGATION then they will have NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN! And if they have to veto after, then they will look like the HYPOCRITES they are!

Wen made his remarks during a meeting with Iran’s visiting first vice president, Mohammad Reza Rahimi, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said. Rahimi was in Beijing to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

What? An IRANIAN REP attended the meeting? The MSM SURE KEPT THIS QUIET, didn't they, America?

Who would ever have thought the COMMUNIST CHINESE would be the ANTIWAR VOICE of the WORLD, huh?

And DON'T LET the AMERICAN PEOPLE know the FORCES ARRAYED AGAINST US as we TAKE on the WORLD for ISRAEL, MSM!!!!!
