Obama's Insults: Iran

The video was truly an insult.

"Obama offers new start with Iran in video message; Israeli leader also reaches out to Tehran" by Alan Cowell, New York Times | March 21, 2009

Invoking art, history, and "the common humanity that binds us," President Obama offered a "new day" in America's relationship with Iran, using a videotaped message released on the Internet to make an unusual appeal directly to Iranians for a shift away from decades of confrontation.

Sorry, but WE are the ones who need to apologize!

Bush Authorizes New Covert Action Against Iran

Terrorism, definition:

[An] act of terrorism, means any activity that (A) involves a violent act or an act dangerous to human life that is a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State; and (B) appears to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by assassination or kidnapping."

"The hope that Iranians will blame their own government for their hardships, and that their complaints will influence the regime"

Are we CLEAR?

The LEAST you could do, 'bamer, is CALL OFF the AMERICAN TERRORISTS!!!!!!!

President Shimon Peres of Israel issued an audio statement yesterday appealing to "the noble Iranian people on behalf of the ancient Jewish people."

Oh, that i just too much!

Btw, WHO has IRAN INVADED LATELY, huh, scum-bag?

Both messages suggested that there was a place for Iran as an equal in the international community.

Oh, I AGREE with THAT!! It is USrael that DESERVES to be OSTRACIZED!

Obama warned Iran's leaders that their country's access to what he called its "rightful place in the community of nations" would not be advanced by threats or by "terror or arms, but rather through peaceful actions."

TELL IT to Iz-ray-HELL, tool!!!!! And TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE, too, huh? GET OUT of IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN, a-hole!!!!

As they have in the past when confronted with conciliatory words from Washington, Iranian officials welcomed the overture but stressed that it needed to be followed up with concrete actions to address past grievances, like the downing of an Iranian airliner in 1988....

Western specialists have long pointed out that to a regime steeped in anti-Americanism, where "Death to America" is still chanted at Friday prayers, the prospect of warming relations with Washington poses a fundamental threat.

Of course, they mean Zionist specialist that dominate our institutions. And it has been the Iranians begging for peace the last 10 years; they offered Cheney and Bush everything they wanted and it was still turned down.

The leadership in Tehran, they say, is far more comfortable with confrontation, and raises the issue of past grievances to prevent any meaningful progress toward reconciliation....

Oh, this is SUCH JEWISH PROPAGANDA and GARBAGE!!!! It's a MSM INSULT to the READERS, too!!!

Obama's message was released on YouTube and....

You mean JewTube, don't you?

That's in this video broadcast, the president urged Iran to discuss "in mutual respect" the gamut of issues that has cast Iran and the United States on opposite sides of a gulf splitting the region.

Now THAT is an INSULT!!!!

They include Iran's nuclear ambitions, its attitude toward Israel, and what the United States considers Tehran's support for elements of the insurgency in Iraq....

Outrageous arrogance, isn't it?

At this point, I would like to remind the world that:

Iran had stockpiled 1,050 pounds of low-enriched uranium so far.... It would need 3,740 pounds to convert into high-enriched uranium, or HEU, for fueling an atom bomb --source--"

Iran would have to change the way the centrifuges are operating to enrich uranium to high, weapons-grade levels, something that would be difficult since the Natanz facility is under IAEA video surveillance --source--"

"specialists question the conclusion by those providing the intelligence... They note that the
spent fuel at issue is not enough to yield the approximately 65 pounds of weapons-grade material needed for a bomb. Iran's enrichment program under constant IAEA monitoring has churned out material that is less than 5 percent enriched, in line with the fuel needs of modern reactors --source--"

There are some indications, moreover, that the MEK obtained the documents not from an Iranian source but from Israel's Mossad --source--"

Clear now, readers?

Btw, the Iranians aren't as 'too-pid as Amurkn s***-eaters. They know an insult when they see one.

"Tehran dismisses Obama overtures; Iran wants 'real changes' in US policy" by Ali Akbar Dareini, Associated Press | March 22, 2009

TEHRAN - Iran's supreme leader rebuffed President Obama's latest outreach yesterday, saying Tehran was still waiting to see concrete changes in US policy.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was responding to a video message Obama released Friday in which he reached out to Iran on the occasion of Nowruz, the Persian new year, and expressed hopes for an improvement in nearly 30 years of strained relations.

Khamenei holds the last word on major policy decisions, and how Iran ultimately responds to any concrete US effort to engage the country will depend largely on his say. In his most direct assessment of Obama and prospects for better ties, Khamenei said there will be no change between the two countries unless the American president puts an end to US hostility toward Iran and brings "real changes" in foreign policy.

"They chant the slogan of change but no change is seen in practice. We haven't seen any change," Khamenei said in a speech before a crowd of tens of thousands in the northeastern holy city of Mashhad.

Unfortunately for Americans, the man is correct!

In his video message, Obama said the United States wants to engage Iran, but he also warned that a right place for Iran in the international community "cannot be reached through terror or arms, but rather through peaceful actions that demonstrate the true greatness of the Iranian people and civilization."

Then why don't you show them some respect and knock-off the insulting rhetoric, sir? Because of Zionist Israelis?

Khamenei asked how Obama could congratulate Iranians on the new year and accuse the country of supporting terrorism and seeking nuclear weapons in the same message. Khamenei said there has been no change even in Obama's language compared with that of his predecessor.

Sorry, Amurka, but the Iranian is

Obama "insulted the Islamic Republic of Iran from the first day. If you are right that change has come, where is that change? What is the sign of that change? Make it clear for us what has changed."

Still, Khamenei left the door open to better ties with America, saying "should you change, our behavior will change, too."

Just wondering why AP excised this quote:

"They say we have stretched a hand toward Iran. ... If a hand is stretched covered with a velvet glove but it is cast iron inside, that makes no sense," Khamenei said."

Wow, those Iranians sure are good with the poetic analogies and metaphors!

Diplomatic ties between the United States and Iran were cut because of the US Embassy hostage-taking after the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which toppled the pro-US shah and brought to power a government of Islamic clerics.

Nothing about project Ajax, 'eh, MSM? Gotta love the joo censorship.

The United States cooperated with Iran in late 2001 and 2002 in the Afghanistan conflict, but the promising contacts fizzled - and were extinguished completely when Bush branded Tehran part of the "Axis of Evil."

Shouldn't that be the other way around?

Khamenei enumerated a long list of Iranian grievances against the United States over the past 30 years and said the United States was still interfering in Iranian affairs.

Again, he is RIGHT!!!!

He mentioned US sanctions against Iran, US support for Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein during his 1980-88 war against Iran, and the downing of an Iranian airliner over the Persian Gulf in 1988. He also accused the United States of provoking ethnic tension in Iran and said Washington's accusations that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons are a sign of US hostility.

That's because we work for you-know-who....

Iran says its nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes, like energy production, not for building weapons.

"Have you released Iranian assets? Have you lifted oppressive sanctions? Have you given up mudslinging and making accusations against the great Iranian nation and its officials? Have you given up your unconditional support for the Zionist regime? Even the language remains unchanged," Khamenei said.

Khamenei, wearing a black turban and dark robes, said America was hated around the world for its arrogance, as the crowd chanted "Death to America."

Yeah, they always get to the "Death to America" stuff. That mistranslated, too?

I mean, on the one hand we are told the people there are peaceful and love our stuff. Then we are told they hate us and want to kill us. I think they are like me. They don't want to be attacked over lies, and they have nothing against us.

Now, OUR GOVERNMENT on the other hand....

Prominent political analyst Saeed Leilaz said Khamenei's comments did not amount to a rejection of better ties with the Obama administration. Rather, Iran's current hard-line leaders need to publicly maintain some degree of anti-US rhetoric to bolster their own position, especially with their conservative base, he said.

Yeah, THANK GOD AmeriKa doesn't work that way, huh?

"Iran's ruling Islamic establishment needs to lessen tensions with the US and at the same time maintain a controlled animosity with Washington," he said. "Iran can't praise Obama all of a sudden."

This is such Jooish garbage, I'm glad the article is almost over.

Khamenei will probably stand his ground as long as he remains concerned about the United States' ability to destabilize Iran, he said. For its part, the Obama administration must take practical steps such as lifting a ban on selling Iran spare parts for passenger aircraft or considering unfreezing Iranian assets in the United States, Leilaz said.

And he won;t be doing that, so.......

Obama has signaled a willingness to speak directly with Iran about its nuclear program and hostility toward Israel, a key US ally.

See whose ass his head is up?

At his inauguration, the president said his administration would reach out to rival states, declaring "we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist."

Ummm, yeah:

"They say we have stretched a hand toward Iran. ... If a hand is stretched covered with a velvet glove but it is cast iron inside, that makes no sense," Khamenei said."
