You ALREADY HAVE in SO MANY WAYS!
Wanna come clean? 9/11 TRUTH, bro!
However, some of the criticism of the budget has come from within Obama's own party. Yesterday, Senate Budget Committee chairman Kent Conrad of North Dakota said he would try to cut back Obama's plans for tax cuts after 2010 and to reduce domestic spending in order to decrease the deficit.
After a week that included TV appearances on "The Tonight Show" and "60 Minutes" - leading to some criticism about Obama's offhand remarks - the president put forward a resolute approach last night, delivering a short speech extolling his confidence about his plans before taking questions from a preselected list of reporters.
He sounds and acts more like Bush everyday.

Asked why he hadn't asked average Americans to make specific sacrifices, Obama said families were already sacrificing....
The elite reporters are even worse than he is!!!!
The most personal question of the night came when Obama was asked whether his race has played a role in his actions following his election as the first African-American president....
Unreal! What dip shit asked that question?
Obama said: " . . . . Right now the American people are judging me exactly the way I should be judged. And that is: Are we taking the steps to improve liquidity in the financial markets, create jobs, get businesses to reopen, keep America safe? And that's what I've been spending my time thinking about."
So my scorn is accurate, anyway.
Obama, who has a 63 percent approval rating in the latest Gallup Poll, sought to show that he has a sense of balance when reading reports about how his administration is faring. He noted that critics have pilloried his treasury secretary, Timothy Geithner, but that the stock market soared on Monday when Geithner announced some details of the administration's plan to acquire toxic assets from banks.
I don't believe MSM polls anymore. They will use 60% in their rigged poll to shove the agenda down your throat and steamroll any opposition.
Under the plan, the government would use about $100 billion from last year's financial rescue, along with loans, to partner with investors to buy the assets. The administration wants to take up to $1 trillion of poorly performing loans off the books of struggling banks, with the government and investors working together to buy the assets and potentially profit from a rise in value. Critics say the plan puts too much of the cost on taxpayers.

Obama said one of his budget priorities will be to reform the Pentagon's weapons procurement system, saying that there is agreement in both parties that the Pentagon's process for buying warships, aircraft, and other high-tech systems "doesn't work" and that too many weapons programs have skyrocketed in cost while still not providing the troops with the tools they need.
Oh, please!!!! See: The Globe's Garbage Gates
"You've got a whole range of multibillion-dollar systems where we're seeing cost overruns of 30 percent or 40 percent or 50 percent and then still don't perform the way they're supposed to," Obama said.
It's called LOOTING!!!!
But he said he knows that making significant changes will be politically difficult because members of Congress are likely to fight to preserve jobs at defense plants in their districts.
WTF? I thought you were the change guy?

"Everybody in this town knows that the politics of changing procurement is tough," he said. "Lobbyists are very active in this area, contractors are very good at dispersing the jobs and plants in the Defense Department widely."
Again, I thought you were the.... never mind.
Yeah, I guess they patched over the budget....
"Democrats unify around Obama budget; House, Senate plans embrace key priorities" by David Espo and Andrew Taylor, Associated Press | March 26, 2009
WASHINGTON - In a show of unity, congressional Democrats welcomed President Obama to the Capitol yesterday and unveiled budget blueprints that embrace his key priorities and point the way for major legislation this year on healthcare, energy, and education.
Even so, both the House and Senate versions lack specifics for any of the administration's signature proposals....
Neither house included the $250 billion that the administration seeks for any future financial industry bailout. Additionally, Senate Democrats assume in their version that Obama's middle class tax cuts will expire after 2010....
