Several reasons.
FLASHBACK: "Swat girl flogging video fake, official says" by Fasihur Rehman Khan,
Islamabad: A top government official of Pakistan's Taliban-controlled Swat region has made a surprise claim that the amateur video clip shown by television channels of a 17-year-old girl being flogged was fabricated, media reports say. Malakand Division Commissioner Syed Mohammad Javed was quoted by local media as saying that the incident shown in the video clip had not happened in the Swat valley and that the accents of the people heard speaking in the video were not those of the region.
"This fabricated video clip is a conspiracy to sabotage the Swat peace deal between the Taliban and the NWFP government," the commissioner said after his visit to the Kala Kalay village where the incident is alleged to have taken place. Swat Taliban Spokesman Muslim Khan echoed his sentiments, claiming the tape was the handiwork of pro-West organisations.

"He was interviewed in English by his captors.... "
That's enough for me -- although there is SO MUCH MORE!
"Taliban issue video of missing soldier
The Taliban have released a video of an American soldier who went missing from his base in eastern Afghanistan June 30 and was later confirmed captured. The soldier, whose identity has not yet been confirmed by the Pentagon pending notification of members of Congress and his family, says his name, age, and hometown on the video, which was released yesterday on a website pointed out by the Taliban. Two US defense officials confirmed that the man in the video is the captured soldier. The soldier is shown eating and sitting on a bed, and he says the date is July 14. The military said he was captured July 2 (AP)."
Really? I'll REMEMBER THAT!
So WHY the CENSORSHIP, Globe?
Don't want us to KNOW WHAT the GOVERNMENT-FUNDED and DIRECTED COVERT ACTION PROGRAMS?

"Soldier held in Afghanistan is 23-year-old Idahoan; The Pentagon on Sunday confirmed that an American soldier who went missing from his base in Afghanistan has been captured and identified him as a private from Idaho serving with an Alaska-based infantry regiment.
WASHINGTON — The soldier in the video had his head shaved and was seen with the start of a beard. He was sitting and dressed in a nondescript, gray outfit. Early in the video one captor held the soldier's dog tag up to the camera. His name and ID number were clearly visible. He was shown eating at one point and sitting cross-legged.
The soldier gave his name, age and hometown on the video, which was released on a Web site pointed out by the Taliban. He said the date was July 14 and that he was captured when he lagged behind on a patrol.
Okay, that is the THIRD EXPLANATION we have been given!
"The Taliban claim about holding a US soldier came six days after a soldier was noticed to be missing. His body armor and weapon were found on the base. Two US defense sources have said the soldier “just walked off’’ with three Afghans after he finished working. They had no explanation about why he left."
"The US military has said the soldier was noticed missing during a routine check of the unit on June 30 and was “believed captured’’
So WHICH ONES are the LIES?
He was interviewed in English by his captors. He was asked his views on the war, which he called extremely hard; his desire to learn more about Islam; and the morale of American soldiers, which he said was low.
Uh-oh! Another Adam Gadahn!
All to DISCREDIT the PEACE MOVEMENT and PREVENT AmeriKa from LEAVING!
You wouldn't want to do what the Taliban said, even if it costs you your life, right, 'murkns? You SURE THIS GUY was CAPTURED?
Asked how he was doing, the soldier said: "Well I'm scared, scared I won't be able to go home. It is very unnerving to be a prisoner." He later choked up when discussing his family and his hope to marry his girlfriend. "I have a very, very good family that I love back home in America. And I miss them every day when I'm gone," he said.
He was prompted by his interrogators to give a message to the American people.
"To my fellow Americans who have loved ones over here, who know what it's like to miss them, you have the power to make our government bring them home," he said. "Please, please bring us home so that we can be back where we belong and not over here, wasting our time and our lives and our precious life that we could be using back in our own country. Please bring us home. It is America and American people who have that power."
Yeah, we BETTER NOT DO THAT THEN!!
"On Thursday, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said the United States could send more troops to Afghanistan this year than had been initially planned"
Gee, what a COINCIDENCE, huh?
See: Slow Saturday Special: Shielding Silent Sword
A U.S. military spokeswoman in Afghanistan, Lt. Cmdr. Christine Sidenstricker, said the Taliban was using their captive for propaganda. "I'm glad to see he appears unharmed, but again, this is a Taliban propaganda video," she said. "They are exploiting the soldier in violation of international law."
We torture, we aggressively invade, we are war criminals all over the place, and this military c*** steps out and shovels this shit-swill? Fuck you, ma'am!

Can you really believe ANYTHING you see on TV?
It is unclear from the video whether the July 14 date is authentic.
We already know the answer to that.
The soldier says that he heard that a Chinook helicopter carrying 37 NATO troops had been shot down over Helmand. A helicopter was shot down in southern Afghanistan on July 14, but it was carrying civilians on a reported humanitarian mission for NATO forces. All six Ukrainian passengers died in the crash, and a child on the ground was killed.
On July 2, the U.S. military said an American soldier had disappeared after walking off his base in eastern Afghanistan with three Afghan counterparts and was believed to have been taken prisoner. Details of such incidents are routinely held very tightly by the military as it works to retrieve a missing or captured soldier without giving away any information to captors.
But Afghan Police Gen. Nabi Mullakheil said the soldier went missing in eastern Paktika province near the border with Pakistan from an American base. The region is known to be Taliban-infested. Afghans in contact with the Taliban told the AP that the soldier was held by a Taliban group led by a commander called Maulvi Sangin, who operates in the area where the American went missing.
They said the fighters initially planned to smuggle the soldier across the border into Pakistan but ruled that out because of U.S. missile strikes and Pakistani bombing attacks against militant targets in the area. Instead, they decided to move him north into Taliban-controlled areas of Ghazni province....
Gee, they KNOW SO MUCH it is amazing that they haven't found the dead guy yet!
The Afghans spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of arrest or reprisal. It was impossible to independently confirm their information. A brigade commander for the Afghan national army in southeastern Afghanistan, Gen. Asrar Ahmad Khan, said Afghan and coalition forces have been working together for 15 days searching for the missing soldier....
Have you tried the Kabul hotel rooms?
No, instead the Zionist Globe gives us this Muslim-hating, war-promoting, agenda-pushing, enemy-creating, Zionist dogshit propaganda as "news."
"Afghan women find shelter from abuse" by David Zucchino, Los Angeles Times | July 19, 2009
KABUL, Afghanistan - Her father is dead and her brother is just a boy. For Shabana, a radiant young woman of 17 with dark eyes and flowing hair, the absence of a strong male protector has cost her dearly.
One day last fall as she was walking home from school, Shabana was kidnapped by a young man from her neighborhood. He forced her into marriage, then beat and imprisoned her in his home over the next seven months. Her mother did not intervene.
“He knew I had no one to protect me, and he took advantage,’’ Shabana said of her kidnapper.
But in late May, Shabana managed to escape to a women’s shelter on a side street in another part of Kabul. And into her life came Esther Hyneman, 70, an American who speaks virtually no Dari but has brought a New Yorker’s sharp tongue and aggressive attitude to the cause of Afghan women’s rights.
Yup, a JEW is going to help out the MUSLIM WOMEN!
Does that mean NO MORE BOMBS and MISSILES being DROPPED on THEM and their FAMILIES?
Didn't think so. Related: Using Women as War Propaganda
I used to believe in the women's rights groups, until I found out that CodePink is a CIA Front of Controlled Opposition; that the Feminist Movement was a CIA project of social engineering; and the REAL ROLE of Feminism in the New World Order.
Wanna support a women's group in Afghanistan?
Support the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA).
One day in June, Hyneman hugged Shabana and caressed her hair as the young woman struggled to describe what had befallen her. They sat in an office at Women for Afghan Women, a private agency that assists abused women in a country where they are commonly treated as chattel.
Gee, I was sort of wondering why you didn't cover THIS ABUSE of women, Amerikan MSM?
Sort of a DOUBLE-STANDARD, doncha think?
Shabana said her head still aches from the beatings, and she clutched her throat to demonstrate how her kidnapper had choked her the night before she fled to a police station, which referred her to the shelter. Twenty-six days had passed since her escape, enough time for outrage to overcome the pain and shame.

“I am human,’’ she said in a clear, strong voice. “I should not be treated like an animal.’’
The case is the SAME with PALESTINIANS; however, I NEVER SEE SUCH an article in the Muslim-hating, war-promoting, agenda-pushing Zionist AmeriKan MSM!
Do YOU KNOW how SICK I AM of the ONE-SIDED ZIONIST BIAS of AmeriKa's jewpapers?
The agency, which has three Afghan lawyers, has gone to court to seek a divorce for Shabana. On this day, she had just returned from the courtroom, where her erstwhile husband vowed to get her back and where her mother and uncle urged her to remove the stain on her family’s honor and return to him.
Yeah, let's SHOVE THAT DAMN AGENDA DOWN THEIR THROATS as we "liberate" them!
“I would rather die than go back,’’ Shabana said, an edge creeping into her voice. “If I go back, he will kill me.’’ If forced to return, she said, she will commit suicide, “and my blood will be on their hands.’’
Oh, so she's gonna become a suicide bomber, 'eh?
The shelter, part of the Family Guidance Center in Kabul, is funded by private donors in the United States, European governments, and nongovernmental organizations.
Translation: They are EXACTLY WHAT I SAID THEY WERE! Some AGENDA-PUSHING AGENTS of the FAMILY-DESTROYING GLOBALIST AGENDA!!!!
The center and its nearby shelter opened in March 2007, followed by centers in two other Afghan cities; they have given refuge and legal help to 750 women.
What about the ones we have MURDERED or MAIMED with our bombs and missiles?
Update:
"Copter crash kills 16 in Afghanistan, NATO says
KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A helicopter crashed during takeoff from Kandahar airfield in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, killing 16 people, NATO said.
We are LOSING, folks! Time to LEAVE!
The aircraft was a "civilian contracted" helicopter, not a military one, NATO's International Security Assistance Force said in a statement. The helicopter was not shot down, ISAF said, adding that the exact cause of the crash was not known.
Knee-jerk liars!
The chopper was a Mil Mi-8 helicopter, owned by the Russian air company Vertikal-T, the Russian news agency Interfax said, citing Russia's Federal Air Transportation Agency, Rosaviatsia. The aircraft "was on a mission to support the peacekeeping forces," an unnamed Rosaviatsia spokesman said, according to Interfax.
Separately, a U.S. military helicopter made a hard landing in eastern Afghanistan, ISAF said. ISAF denied the helicopter was shot down in Kunar province.
The two helicopter incidents come a day after a plane crash that killed two airmen on a U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle in eastern Afghanistan early Saturday, the U.S. military said.
The two-man fighter went down while it was conducting military operations, Lt. Col. Reid Christopherson, said earlier. He said he was "confident" it had not been shot down.
