Which Corporations Are Backing the Carbon Tax Bill?

You would be surprised.

Advertisement on page A11 of today's printed Boston Globe:

"A QUESTION OF AMERICAN LEADERSHIP

How will America take back control of its energy future while enhancing our national security?

(Stop invading other nations for oil)

When will the U.S. economy regain its competitive edge instead of letting other countries corner the emerging global clean energy market?

(When you guys stop shipping those jobs
overseas)

How can we get the U.S. back on track by creating American jobs in the low-carbon economy?

(See answer to last question above)

How can we protect our natural resources and future generations from climate change?

These are the questions we're asking our policy makers as America faces a once-in-a-century opportunity to lower greenhouse gases emissions and become the world's leader in a burgeoning clean energy economy.

(Well, moving the stuff to China and letting them get the
leg up hasn't helped: Where TF you guys been -- other than hogging profits and cashing paychecks?)

We are a broad and divers group of leading businesses, environmental organizations, national security experts, veteran's organizations, labor unions, and faith-based groups

(Well, now we know whom not to trust anymore)

We believe it's time for Democrats and Republicans to unite behind bi-partisan, national energy and climate legislation that increases our security and limits emissions, as it preserves and creates jobs.

(If Republicans do they are content being the minority; do this and kiss any chance of inning back Congress good-bye, Repugs. I'll stay home.)

It is a question of American leadership."

(And service to the globali$t agenda)
