Sunday Globe Special: State of the Union Preview

I won't be watching. I already see enough propaganda.

"Economy is next up for President Obama; Will use speech before Congress to detail his goals" by Michael D. Shear and Jackie Calmes  |  New York Times, February 10, 2013

WASHINGTON — President Obama is structuring his fifth annual address to a joint session of Congress around three main economic points: making the nation a ‘‘magnet for jobs and manufacturing”; providing Americans the ‘‘skills they need’’ for those jobs; and ensuring that ‘‘hard work leads to a decent living,’’ officials said.

Now I definitely won't be watching. I'm tired of cliched bullshit, too.

Obama will try to summon the nation’s support for two major initiatives that are already consuming the first weeks of his second term: the passage of stricter gun laws in the wake of the school massacre in Newtown, Conn., and an overhaul of immigration policy that would allow 11 million illegal immigrants to become citizens.

I am beginning to believe that nothing happened there at all and we are being sold a huge script.

A mass murderer, in fact.

He will also confront his looming clash with Congress over taxes and spending next month with a blunt warning to his Republican adversaries — that continued fiscal brinkmanship could cause an economic slump that would be devastating to millions of Americans....

Right, blame that for the coming collapse of the economy. Anything but the private central banking system you guys work to uphold.

But the main focus of the address, the officials said, will be on finding a new balance in the economy by expanding opportunities for average Americans without saddling the next generation with enormous debt.

‘’Our economy succeeds and our economy grows when everybody is getting a fair shot and everybody is getting a fair shake and everybody is playing by the same rules,’’ Obama told House Democrats at a legislative retreat last week.

Except for banks that are too big to be prosecuted. What a fraud this guy has become.

Why is even bothering to speak to Congress? From what I've heard he's just going to issue a bunch of executive orders covering all sorts of issues.

Oh, right, there is the s*** show fooley value of imagery and illusion for the masses.

NEXT DAY UPDATES:

Election themes to echo in State of the Union

A Quinnipiac University poll on Monday suggested that the slow but steady economic gains throughout Obama’s first term may not be trickling down to many Americans. More than 50 percent of registered voters said they thought the economy was still in a recession and 79 percent described the economy as ‘‘not so good’’ or ‘‘poor.’’

Because for most of us it still is the Grand Depression. The only ones who made out during this thing are -- as always -- the elite, the corporations, and the banks. The trickling you feel is them pissing all over us.

Obama is expected to reiterate his calls for revitalizing the US manufacturing sector, perhaps reviving his campaign pledge to create 1 million manufacturing jobs during his second term. Following a sluggish 2012, manufacturing grew at a faster pace last month.

Pffft. I'm just as sick of the f***ing media lying as I am with the false f***ing promises.

The White House and some lawmakers will aim to use the atmospherics of the annual address to Congress to rally support for stricter gun laws.

Gonna use the atmospherics, huh? Just a polite way of saying s*** show fooley.

Good points in there.

"In one of the most emotional moments of the speech, Obama spoke about victims of gun violence, and urged Congress, following the school shootings in Newtown, Conn., to pass new gun control legislation."

And then the Globe edited out and changed the quote I was going to bring you.

Readers, I know I've said this a lot and I've still continued on and have hundreds of drafts -- so many I can't even remember what's out there -- but I think I have finally reached a limit with the censorship, distortions, distractions, obfuscations, omissions, and lies.

What I find myself doing is coming here intended to work after sucking down about eight pages of shit every morning, then reading and perusing the blog sites I have on the roll and listed on the right. I can't tell you how sad I am when I see how shallow and shitty the Globe's coverage is on so many issues. You go to the blogs and it's a different world, with important information that I never see in my mouthpiece media pieces of shit. Hard to believe, but even I have tired of the bulls*** shoveling.
