And shielding it from us.

Just run my

"Qaeda leader reportedly dies in US drone strike; Pakistan trying to confirm news" by Pir Zubair Shah and Mark McDonald, New York Times | September 18, 2009

ISLAMABAD - An American missile fired from a drone killed a top commander for Al Qaeda, Pakistani intelligence officials said yesterday.

The officials, who spoke anonymously under security rules, said Ilyas Kashmiri was killed in a drone strike 10 days earlier in the border area of North Waziristan. Kashmiri was considered by some intelligence officials to be one of the 10 most wanted militants in Pakistan. Although his body had not been found, they said, agents were sent to his home village, Bahawalpur, to verify his death.

Missile strikes from American drones have been especially successful recently against high-profile Taliban and Al Qaeda leaders, although reliable identification of the victims can be difficult. After such strikes, insurgents typically cordon off the area and quickly remove any bodies to prevent security forces from taking them for DNA tests. Burials are often in unmarked graves.

The Pakistani officials also said another drone strike Monday had probably killed an Al Qaeda lieutenant from Uzbekistan named Nazimuddin. They were still seeking his body.

Just wondering WHY I AM BEING TOLD THIS on a FRIDAY!

And a missile believed to have been fired last week from an American drone killed five militants and wounded at least three, also in North Waziristan, a security official said. The missile struck a compound in the village of Machi Khel, and a resident said the five dead fighters were Uzbeks.

Also yesterday, a Pakistani military spokesman in the Swat Valley said Sher Muhammad Qasab, a wanted Taliban leader, had been arrested....

Oh, they got another one, did they?

"Car bomber kills 29 in Pakistan; 55 wounded in second recent attack in area" by Inamur Rehman, Associated Press | September 19, 2009

Car bomb? It LOOKS LIKE a MISSILE CRATER!

KOHAT, Pakistan - Scores of bloodied and bandaged victims filled hospital beds after a suicide car bomber destroyed a two-story hotel yesterday in northwest Pakistan, killing 29 people and underscoring the relentless security threat to the region.

And cui bono, huh?

WHO wants IN to Pakistan, 'eh?

The blast on the outskirts of Kohat town wounded 55 others. It was the second attack in two days in the area, which is near Pakistan’s rugged border region with Afghanistan where Al Qaeda and Taliban militants hold sway. The attack took place in the Shi’ite-dominated village of Usterzai, raising speculation that it may have been a sectarian assault by Sunni extremists.

I have HEARD THIS RECORD before and IT IS GETTING OLD!!!!

It occurred days before Muslims from both sects celebrate the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

Which is ALL the MORE REASON to SMELL "Al-CIA-Duh" all over this!!!!!!

Islamist militants have also staged bombings in public places in the northwest to frighten locals from cooperating with security forces, or punish them for already doing so.

The Hikmat Ali Hotel - owned by a Shi’ite - was among several buildings destroyed or badly damaged, police official Asmat Ullah said. At least eight cars were mangled by the force of the blast, witnesses said. Sunni extremist groups such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda believe Shi’ites are infidels, and their influence in Pakistan in recent years has fueled sectarian attacks that have long plagued Pakistan.

I believe that as much as I believe Pakistan's Muslims hate Christians .

Strange how the sectarianism never really starts until USrael is nearby, huh?

“When the clouds of dust cleared, I saw the dead bodies and the pieces of bodies all around, and everywhere there was blood and wounded people. They were crying,’’ Wagar Ali, who was wounded in the blast, told AP Television News.

TV footage showed some of the wounded in hospital beds and on stretchers. The victims were bloodied, bandaged, and seemingly in shock....

Pakistan has launched several offensives against extremist groups in the area over the past year, but attacks persist. The United States is particularly anxious for Pakistan to clamp down on insurgents it says are behind attacks on American and NATO troops across the border in Afghanistan.

How much blood and how many must be sacrificed for AmeriKan lies?

How much?

No one claimed responsibility for yesterday’s attack in Kohat, a garrison town about 40 miles south of Peshawar, Pakistan’s main northwestern city.

STINK!

Kohat police official Ali Hasan Khan said four more bodies were retrieved from the rubble late yesterday, raising the death toll to 29. Another 55 people were wounded and hospitalized, Khan said. On Thursday, six people were wounded when a bomb planted outside a shop in Kohat’s main bazaar exploded.

Another stench!

Despite yesterday’s attack, Pakistan’s military has made gains in the region over the past year. A four-month-old army offensive against Taliban militants in the Swat Valley has - according to the military - killed more than 1,800 alleged militants, while at least three top leaders of the Swat Taliban have been arrested.

Alleged militants? Well, if they were not, than they were innocent -- which makes the government a murderer, doesn't it?

Of course, they are ALL INNOCENT because THEY LIVE THERE and NEVER DID ANYTHING TO US!

And THEY TOLD US the "offensive" was winding down and over, so WTF?

Those were just agenda-pushing lies not to be taken seriously, er....?

Suspected US missile attacks have also played a significant role in neutralizing the insurgency, including the Aug. 5 CIA drone strike that killed Taliban chieftain Baitullah Mehsud.

Who was already dead, but....

Officials said Thursday they believed the Al Qaeda operations chief for Pakistan and a top Uzbek militant were killed in missile attacks in the northwest earlier this month. A Pakistani patrol killed 10 Taliban attempting to infiltrate Swat Valley’s main city of Mingora on Thursday. Government officials say the army is also closing in on Swat Taliban chief Maulana Fazlullah, whose radio broadcasts long spread fear among residents of the valley.

I thought they were all done up there, sigh.
