"New bedbug reports give prospective NYC tourists the willies; Trips canceled over pest fears" by Sara Kugler Frazier, Associated Press / October 26, 2010
NEW YORK — New York City’s bedbugs have climbed out of bed and marched into landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Bloomingdale’s, and Lincoln Center, causing fresh anxiety among tourists who are canceling Big Apple vacations planned for the height of the holiday season.
Some travelers who had arranged trips to New York say they are creeped out about staying in hotels and visiting attractions as new reports of bedbugs seem to pop up every few days. And officials in Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration are concerned about the effect on the city’s image and the $30 billion tourism industry....
I'll never go to New York ever again because of "terrorists."
I agree it is a great city; however, I never want to tour there again.
Such is the state of 21st-century AmeriKa.

Maybe this will help you rest easier, readers:
"Top earners’ pay quintupled in 2009" by Bloomberg News / October 26, 2010
WASHINGTON — As the recession pushed incomes down last year, America’s highest earners — 74 people who made more than $50 million each — saw their pay more than quintuple, on average, to a record $519 million each.
They earned a combined $38.4 billion in 2009, up from $11.9 billion earned by 131 individuals with wages above $50 million in 2008, according to Social Security Administration data. Nationally, the average annual pay fell by $384 to $39,269. The median fell by $253 to $26,261.
That is the REST of US, readers!
The data are consistent with other studies, such as one by economist Emmanuel Saez of the University of California Berkeley that showed top earners sustained a less-damaging shock in this recession than in other downturns....
A "less-damaging shock?"
They MADE OUT LIKE BANDITS!
Shows you whose interests the AmeriKan media has internalized.
