The Boston Globe's George Bush Book Tour

Nothing about the mass-murdering war criminal authorized torture; just vacuous crap -- like the rest of the paper.

"Bush pondered jettisoning Cheney

NEW YORK — President George W. Bush writes. “He was seen as dark and heartless — the Darth Vader of the administration.’’

That's an insult to Darth Vader!

The book could help Bush define his legacy in more favorable terms after leaving office with some of the lowest approval ratings in modern times.

And the lying, war-promoting, manipulated media is going to make sure they do their utmost to help -- again!

"Bush says Cheney furious over refusal to pardon Libby" by Associated Press / November 9, 2010

George W. Bush's appearance came as he begins promoting his memoir, “Decision Points.’’

In retirement, Bush has been largely absent from the national scene. He has given the occasional innocuous speech, tended to his presidential center and helped with Haiti earthquake relief.

Yeah, where did all that aid money go, George?

“Decision Points’’ puts him back in the public eye. He will be all over TV this week and beyond, from news and opinion shows to Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno....

Why isn't he being placed under arrest?

Instead he is on TV?

"On book tour, Bush recounts regrets to Oprah Winfrey

CHICAGO — George W. Bush recounted the mistakes of his presidency on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show as he launched a book tour to promote his just-released memoir, “Decision Points.’’

Then they must have gone way over the hour time limit. Probably still shooting the footage.

The former president said he still feels “sick about’’ the fact that no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq....

See: Bush Jokes About WMD

Yeah, he looks like he is real sick about it.

The world is better off without Saddam Hussein, Bush said, even though the invasion that toppled the Iraqi leader was based on faulty intelligence about the existence of weapons of mass destruction.

“When we didn’t find weapons, I felt terrible about it, sick about it, and still do, because a lot of the case in removing Saddam Hussein was based upon weapons of mass destruction,’’ Bush said. He added that Hussein was “equally dangerous’’ without the weapons....

Yeah, JUST KEEP PEDDLING the LIES, Georgie -- you WAR CRIMINAL PIECE of DOG SHIT!

Remember, readers, Oprah helped him sell the war to all those American women.

And now she is helping to REHABILITATE a MASS-MURDERING WAR CRIMINAL!

As is the SAME LYING, WAR-PROMOTING PRESS that BROUGHT IT to you!

"BUSH’S MEMOIR | Globe Editorial

Striking a statesmanlike tone

‘DECISION POINTS,’’ by George W. Bush, is a serious memoir, and in some ways a magnanimous one. That’s in keeping with Bush’s determination, as a former president, to refrain from criticizing his successor. Bush may seem, to some, an unlikely candidate for the high road. But there was always a side to him that wanted, and even tried to be, a conciliator — before events, some of his own making, drove him in a different direction....

These accomplishments have been overshadowed by Bush’s actions overseas after the 9/11 attacks. He rallied the nation but then squandered all that good will and more in the Iraq war. The war, and the lengths to which he defended it, obscures the rest of his legacy.

History will take care of that.

One day the name Bush will be as recognizable as the name Hitler.

Not everyone is reading the PoS either:

"Bush book not a main selection of conservative club

Conservatives will see a lot of Bush during his promotional tour. He is giving interviews to Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and other favorites of the right, and will make a few appearances on the Fox News Channel. But he is not universally praised. Glenn Beck, for example, has called Bush a “progressive’’ Republican and suggested he helped pull Republicans away from conservative principles....

"No Appetite for Prosecution: In Memoir, Bush Admits He Authorized the Use of Torture, But No One Cares

With just days to go before George W. Bush’s memoir, Decision Points, hits bookstores (on November 9), and with reports on the book’s contents doing the rounds after review copies were made available to the New York Times and Reuters, it will be interesting to see how many media outlets allow the former President the opportunity to try to salvage his reputation, how many are distracted by his spat with Kanye West or his claim that he thought about replacing Dick Cheney as Vice President in 2004, and how many decide that, on balance, it would be more honest to remind readers and viewers of the former President’s many crimes — including the illegal invasion of Iraq, and the authorization of the use of torture on “high-value detainees” seized in the “War on Terror.”

Wow, did HE EVER NAIL the Boston Globe!

I won't be buying it or reading it, folks.  I've heard and read enough of his bullshit the last ten years.
