Americans Feeling the Touch of Fascism When Flying

And my agenda-pushing corporate media tells me we like it!

"Most US travelers accept the new full-body scanners as a way to enhance security, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll released yesterday. Two-thirds of those surveyed said they backed the scanners....

I'll never believe an agenda-pushing, corporate media poll ever again.

And I sure as hell never intend to fly or tour again.

".... Apparently, the TSA feels it is entirely appropriate to feel your crotch, palm your breasts and even reach into your pants -- and you're supposed to just sit there and tolerate all this like good little sheeple.

In doing this, however, they are offending not just the patriots and freedom-oriented people in America; they're also feeling up members of the press! And that's a huge mistake because now all of a sudden the mainstream media is realizing this is no joke. This molestation of passengers is happening to them, too!

Suddenly it's all very "real" to the MSM, you see. In their minds, it's not just a bunch of conspiracy theorists yacking about this; now it's an ABC News employee....

ABC wanna take another poll now?

"Outcry prompts TSA to review screening" by Jim Abrams Associated Press / November 22, 2010

TSA head John Pistole was shown videos of people being patted down where the screeners touched the breasts of a woman, felt into the pants of another person and felt the crotch of a man.

At least the kids are used to the sexual abuse.

He said all three cases were proper and that the gloves of the screener who felt inside the pants were then tested for explosive trace residue....

Yeah, that makes the perversion okay.

Pistole said that while watch lists and other intelligence sources help the TSA pick out travelers who might pose greater risks, rules against profiling mean that some people who are less of a risk, such as the elderly or the disabled, must sometimes undergo pat-downs....

Yeah, there might be a bomb under that wheelchair.

And how much were they paid?

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., appearing on CBS, said Congress would hold hearings on the "very controversial" issue of how to strike the right balance. Asked how he would feel about submitting to a pat-down, Hoyer said, "I don't think any of us feel that the discomfort and the delay is something that we like, but most people understand that we've got to keep airplanes safe."

I've had it with the tyranny based on unholy lies.

Thanks, Democrats!

I'm sorry; if the NYT PoS is not in my paper I no longer read it.

And what would Steny know about a molesting?

"Officials sidestep airport security" by Eileen Sullivan, Associated Press / November 24, 2010

WASHINGTON — Cabinet secretaries, top congressional leaders, and an exclusive group of senior US officials are exempt from toughened airport screening procedures when they fly commercially with government-approved federal security details.

And thus we OFFICIALLY HAVE FASCISM here in AmeriKa!

If you are a MEMBER of the PARTY everything is FINE!

Aviation security officials would not name those who can skip the controversial screening, but other officials said those VIPs range from such top officials as Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and FBI Director Robert Mueller to congressional leaders such as incoming House Speaker John Boehner, who avoided security before a recent flight from Washington.

The heightened new security procedures by the Transportation Security Administration, which involve either a scan by a full-body detector or a personal pat-down, have spurred outrage in the lead-up to the Thanksgiving holiday airport crush.

And reports are coming in that people decided not to travel at all.

But while passengers have no choice but to submit to either the detector or what some complain is an intrusive pat-down, senior government officials can opt out if they fly accompanied by government security guards approved by the TSA....

I was told on the Globe's front page that we accepted it, sigh.

Make sure you sig heil the party commisars as they pace, 'murKn!

Some members of President Obama’s Cabinet, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Attorney General Eric Holder, and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, travel almost exclusively on government or military planes and are therefore not subject to airport security....

And it is on your dime, taxpayers.

What's the carbon footprint on all this jetting around anyway?

"Two bags at Logan prompt bomb scare; Cargo terminal workers evacuated" by Travis Andersen, Globe Staff / November 24, 2010

Authorities searched two duffel bags bound for Nigeria inside a cargo terminal at Logan International Airport yesterday after a dog trained to sniff out explosives sat on one of the bags, officials said. No dangerous items were found....

It was not immediately clear why the TSA dog reacted to the bag....

Actually, it was (cops claimed they found gun magazine, WRH reported it was fast food refuse) but the Globe chose to omit that.  I can't imagine why.
