Sleepwalking Cowards

I don't know what triggered it:

"Wellesley College sleepwalker statue vandalized" Associated Press   May 23, 2014

WELLESLEY — A lifelike fiberglass sculpture of a man sleepwalking in his underpants that caused a ruckus on the Wellesley College campus in February has been vandalized

Did he have a bomb in them?

The outdoor sculpture entitled ‘‘Sleepwalker’’ was one of several areas on campus defaced with yellow paint Tuesday night. The paint was on the left side of the statue’s face, left arm, left leg, and foot. Campus police are investigating.

Wellesley president H. Kim Bottomly said in a statement the acts of vandalism are ‘‘criminal in nature and carry potentially serious consequences.’’

The statue was criticized by some students at the women’s college who found it threatening and demanded that it be removed.

It is part of a larger exhibit by sculptor Tony Matelli.

That is how I'm reading the Globe these days, and the posts reflect it.

NEXT DAY UPDATE: I stopped pulling the trigger, sorry.
