Barney Frank's Challenge

No, not standing up to his bankster bosses....

Forget the no-change change; it would be nice to see this fraudulent, agenda-pushing MSM favorite take a loss.

Wish I could vote in his district

"Brookline Republican to challenge Frank; At least 3 others running for seat" by Matt Viser, Globe Staff | February 19, 2010

A Brookline resident and military veteran is launching a campaign against US Representative Barney Frank, hoping to capitalize on an anti-incumbent atmosphere and oust one of the most liberal and outspoken members of Congress.

Sean Bielat, a 34-year-old running for his first political office, joins a field of at least three others hoping to unseat the 15-term congressman....

There would be numerous hurdles for any opponent trying to defeat the 69-year-old Frank, who has not faced many serious challenges since winning his first congressional election in 1980....

Rachel Brown, who has worked as part of the Lyndon LaRouche movement, is running in the Democratic primary. She gained attention last summer when she and Frank got into a heated argument during a town hall meeting in Dartmouth over national health care changes.

She accused him of supporting “a Nazi policy,’’ and he asked, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?’’ Frank also said that having a conversation with her “would be like arguing with a dining room table; I have no interest in doing it.’’

Same feeling here with you, bub.

Well, Barney would certainly know about bizarre, wouldn't he?

Bielat is running in the Republican primary....

Bielat said he plans to focus on taxes, the economy, and jobs in his campaign and will try to steer the debate away from social issues.

Have you NOTICED the MSM PUSHING THOSE ISSUES as what the next election is about? I have.

Can't talk about anything else without infuriating all Americans.

The DIVISIVE SOCIAL ISSUES are ALL THAT is LEFT for the CONTROLLERS and MANAGERS of society.

So GO AHEAD and HAVE YOUR ABORTIONS and GAY WEDDINGS.

I care MORE ABOUT WARS and LOOTING, thank you.

He is against abortion and says Roe v. Wade “ideally wouldn’t be around,’’ but said there is little chance of repealing it.

He also says he supports the Massachusetts law legalizing gay marriage, but opposes any requirement that the marriages be recognized by the Catholic Church, of which he is a member.

Well, the Zionist press is hammering them over the sick-s*** priests, and I can't say they don't deserve. Off with their heads (the little ones that they were using as a rod, if you know what I mean).

But at least he's not a you-know-who. He would be displacing one, wouldn't he?

Instead, he plans to focus on fiscal issues, including changing the tax structure to a flat tax and lowering the federal deficit.

Frank, who is chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, also said the deficit should be a major focus, including by lowering military spending and withdrawing troops from Iraq.

Well, WHERE have YOU GUYS BEEN?

I've been WAITING for FOUR FLIPPIN' YEARS NOW, and NOW that it is REELECTION TIME the OLD ANTI-WAR BULL-ONEY is TROTTED OUT AGAIN because the DemocraPs are squirming?

“The big one here is the military,’’ he said. “And it was George Bush’s decision to fight two wars [while providing] tax cuts that created this deficit.’’

Gee, as I REMEMBER the CONGRESS VOTED IN FAVOR BOTH TIMES and has SIGNED the CHECKS EVER SINCE!

What a DISGUSTINGLY EMBARRASSING REPRESENTATIVE!

Actually, I'm GLAD I CAN NOT VOTE in his district!

Frank also cited as evidence that he can be bipartisan the comments by former US treasury secretary Henry Paulson, who wrote in a recent book that Frank was “a pragmatic, disciplined, completely honorable politician’’ and “usually a pleasure to work with.’’

I didn't know Hank Paulson was gay, but looking back now....

Barney isn't really going to use him as a character witness in a Massachusetts election, is he?

After blaming his boss a paragraph ago?

Bielat, who grew up in Rochester, N.Y., lives in Brookline with his wife.

He most recently worked at iRobot Corp., where he ran a defense robotics program.

Like I said, NO REAL CHANGE!!

From a bank-serving slave or a war-profiteer, great choice.

He spent four years as a Marine officer and seven years in the Marine Reserves, though he has never been deployed.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s in public policy from Harvard.

Yeah, great.

Doesn't look like he is your friend, does it, voter?

I'll bet this is one seat Democrats hold onto this fall, readers.

Somehow I just know it, if you get my meaning.
