Sunday Globe Special: Polish Pizza

I logged this but took yesterday off and even had reservations about posting this today. It's reached the point where I am really not interested in the daily diarrhea that spews forth from the agenda-pushing Bo$ton Globe these days. Waste of money and a waste of time:

Black and brown business leaders want to drive a movement to end racial inequities

I'm told they are protesting with their wallets, a la BDS, and the hypocrisy could not be more obvious.

#BlackintheIvory: a hashtag that became a rallying cry for Black academics

"As coronavirus cases continue to fall and the economy brightens for the moment, some communities in Massachusetts are bracing for a new threat: a surge of evictions that could push thousands of people from their homes. A disproportionate number will be Black or Latino. Even with rampant unemployment in the state, most residents have been able to stay put, thanks to enhanced unemployment benefits and a state law banning evictions during the pandemic, but those protections are slated to end this summer — a new report from City Life and researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology suggests something even more troubling: These evictions are likely to strike Black communities hardest, coming in the wake of a virus that has disproportionately sickened Black residents and in the midst of a national uprising over the legacy of racism....."

I'm told “the situation is looking really dire,” and here is who will be evicted this November if not sooner:

After the loss of the Presidency and the Senate, the Republican Part will resemble Ireland's Sinn Fein:

"Ireland’s Micheal Martin to lead historic govt coalition" by Danica Kirka Associated Press,June 27, 2020, 2:36 p.m.

LONDON — Centrist politician Micheal Martin became Ireland’s prime minister Saturday, fusing two longtime rival parties into a coalition four months after an election that upended the status quo.

The left-wing nationalist party Sinn Fein was shut out of the new government even though it won the largest share of the votes in February’s election. Despite coming out ahead, Sinn Fein was unable to assemble enough support to govern.

The two centrist parties have long shunned Sinn Fein because of its historic links to the Irish Republican Army and decades of violence in Northern Ireland, but in protracted negotiations further complicated by the COVID-19 outbreak, the two rival centrist parties opted for unity.

Always nice to $ee the biparti$an$hip of the e$tabli$hed political parties, no?

The election campaign was dominated by domestic issues. Ireland has a growing homelessness crisis, house prices that have risen faster than incomes, and a public health system that hasn’t kept up with demand.

Since then, the COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated the country’s problems. Underscoring the changes the virus has wrought, the Dail’s session Saturday was held at the Dublin Convention Centre, to allow for social distancing.....

Why not permanently disband the thing then?

"Poland’s virus-delayed presidential election suddenly looks tight" by Marc Santora New York Times, June 27, 2020

WARSAW, Poland — Poland’s governing party swept to power five years ago by appealing to a sense of aggrieved nationalism, and moved quickly to transform the state in ways that critics contend has torn at the fragile fabric of its democracy.

On Sunday, voters will finally get their say.

PFFFFT!

I'm so sick of the damn buzzwords and bull$hit narratives surrounding every piece of illusion presented to me in this $hit paper.

It will be the first presidential election in the European Union since the outbreak of the virus, and a contest that had looked all but certain to result in the reelection of President Andrzej Duda, a Law and Justice party loyalist, has suddenly become too close to call, polls suggest.

Going to let them steal it?

With just 285 new infections reported Friday and the virus under control in most parts of the country, most people will go to their usual polling stations to vote.

It is impossible to know what the political fallout of the pandemic will ultimately be, but the election is a reminder that the many divisions coursing through Poland and across the continent have not disappeared because of the outbreak. In fact, they may have hardened.

The battle lines are by now familiar: Poland is grappling with generational, geographic, and cultural divides that have been aggravated by a brand of populism that has stoked often explosive passions.

But not left-wing, media-supported hooliganism!

This is useless. Useless journalism, useless propaganda, and useless lies.

Sunday’s election is widely viewed as one of the most consequential since the country liberated itself from Communist rule three decades ago and set about establishing democratic institutions. Those institutions, according to EU leaders and outside experts, have been under assault since Law and Justice came to power.

The globalist a$$holes don't like them?

Must be something redeeming about them then.

The Polish government has pressed ahead with efforts to overhaul the court system despite years of warnings from EU leaders that the changes threaten judicial independence and run counter to core Western values. Most recently, the EU’s highest court introduced measures to halt Poland’s widely criticized forced retirements of judges.

As Vickie Nuland once famously said, "F**k the EU."

The same court also found Poland broke international law by drastically increasing logging in one of Europe’s last primeval woodlands — just one of many fights on environmental issues that have made the country an outlier in Europe, and recent efforts by local leaders to create zones “free from LGBT ideology” have led some EU officials to suggest penalizing Poland by withholding pandemic relief funds.....

When anyone from the EUSraeli Empire is before the bar let me know; otherwise, f**k off and leave the Poles alone.

"Polish presidential election heads to runoff, exit polls show" by Loveday Morris Washington Post, June 28, 2020

Polish President Andrzej Duda did not win enough of the vote in Sunday’s election to avoid a runoff, according to exit polls, forcing him into what is expected to be a tightly fought head-to-head race with the liberal mayor of Warsaw.

Big surprise, huh?

Duda, candidate of the governing populist party, Law and Justice, is set to win 41.8 percent of the vote, according to the exit polls, while Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski is expected to win 30.4 percent. Turnout was high, at 62.9 percent.

While Duda remained comfortably ahead, analysts say that will change during a runoff election in two weeks, as opposition voters whose support had been split in the first round unite around Trzaskowski.

The vote has the potential to reshape Poland’s relationship with Europe. Duda is a figurehead for the Law and Justice political program that has put it on a collision course with the European Union. Brussels accuses the government of threatening the rule of law and independence of the judiciary.

Meanwhile, Trzaskowski, a former member of the European Parliament, is known to have more amicable relations with Brussels. At a jubilant election night event, Trzaskowski said the choice for voters would be between an ‘‘open Poland’’ and one that is ‘‘looking for an enemy,’’ with a president who is trying to divide.

At his event, Duda maintained that his advantage was ‘‘enormous’’ and said the choice was between ‘‘development’’ and a deterioration of the lives of normal Poles under the opposition. Social benefits for families have been a major pillar of Law and Justice policy.

The vote had been slated for May, with Law and Justice pushing to hold it despite the pandemic because any delay could hurt its chances amid the resulting economic crisis and mounting scrutiny over how the government handled the outbreak, but it was forced to delay on the insistence of one of its coalition partners.

As the polls tightened, Duda fell back on anti-LGBT rhetoric in an apparent effort to galvanize his base, but his comments caused a backlash even in staunchly Catholic Poland.

Is there nothing in this world that is not staged and scripted narrative and illusion anymore?

Members of Law and Justice had said they hoped Duda’s visit to Washington last week would boost his chances of reelection, but the trip fell short of initial expectations on the Polish side, with no firm details announced on the movement of US troops to Poland.

He came and went without a peep from the Globe!

Warsaw has been lobbying for the United States to increase its security presence in Poland, which its officials say is even more important because of the US announcement that it would withdraw 9,500 troops from Germany.

I'm looking very much forward to an Eastern Front to show Hitler how it is done!

"Lack of racial data hinders French response to coronavirus" by James McAuley Washington Post, June 27, 2020

PARIS — French law largely bans the collection of data on an individual’s race, ethnicity, or religion. That’s in reaction to World War II, when French authorities classified Jewish citizens in a way that enabled deportation to Nazi concentration camps.

France, which relinquished its last colonial holdings in the 1960s, sees itself as an exemplar of human rights, and especially of universal equality. The French political establishment tends to dismiss any attention paid to race — even in the service of fighting discrimination — as a means of essentializing race and jeopardizing equality.

The killing of George Floyd in the US and the migration of Black Lives Matter protests to France have ignited calls for an officially colorblind society to recognize the pervasiveness of racial discrimination. A government spokesperson told reporters that President Emmanuel Macron did not wish to open the debate ‘‘at this stage.’’

How do you say WTF in French?

"More than 700 cash-strapped cities halt plans to repair roads, water systems or make other key investments" by Tony Romm Washington Post, June 27, 2020

More than 700 US cities have halted plans to improve roadways, buy new equipment, and complete a wide array of upgrades to water systems and other critical infrastructure, as government officials slash spending to shore up the massive holes in their budgets created by the coronavirus.

The decision to suspend or terminate some of these long-planned purchases, upgrades, and repairs threatens to worsen municipal services and harm local businesses, according to the National League of Cities, which deduced from a new survey released Tuesday that more federal aid is necessary to ensure that local financial woes do not imperil the country’s economic recovery.

‘‘It shows an economic ripple effect throughout the nation,” said Clarence Anthony, the organization’s executive director.

Cities had already predicted they would need about $500 billion from Washington to help cover the massive, unanticipated declines in tax revenue and other costs incurred from the pandemic, which has shuttered businesses and left millions of Americans out of work. but federal lawmakers have been unwilling to authorize such a cash infusion, forcing many cities to take drastic steps to balance their budgets for fiscal 2021, which for many governments begins on July 1.....

There is no more money coming. Get used to it.

Some local governments are signaling that their worst fears have come to fruition as they send out for pizza:

"‘PizzaGate’ conspiracy theory thrives anew in the TikTok era" by Cecilia Kang and Sheera Frenkel New York Times, June 27, 2020

That's odd because just last week the New York Times was praising TikTok for making Trump look bad in Tulsa.

WASHINGTON — Four years ago, before the 2016 presidential election, the baseless notion that Hillary Clinton and Democratic elites were running a child sex-trafficking ring out of a Washington pizzeria spread across the Internet, illustrating how a crackpot idea with no truth to it could blossom on social media — and how dangerous it could be. In December 2016, a vigilante gunman showed up at the restaurant with an assault rifle and opened fire into a closet.

This is the same pre$$ that pushed the "baseless notion" of Russian collusion for years, so there must be something to this sick story.

In the years afterward, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube managed to largely suppress a child-trafficking ring known as PizzaGate, but now, just months before the next presidential election, the conspiracy theory is making a comeback on these platforms — and on new ones such as TikTok — underlining the limits of their efforts to stamp out dangerous speech online and how little has changed despite rising public frustration.

Thus the New York Times must rise and protect the Democrat donor pedophiles and the Clintons, just as they have protected Bill, as they shielded Weinstein for years, and as they dropped any investigation in Epstein. Never mind the investigations by citizen journalists that have unearthed facts, or the scattered reports that are skewed towards whitewash in their own pages. Pizzagate is debunked because they say it is, nothing more.

This time, PizzaGate is being fueled by a younger generation that is active on TikTok, which was in its infancy four years ago, as well as on other social media platforms. The conspiracy group QAnon is also promoting PizzaGate in private Facebook groups and creating easy-to-share memes on it.

No offense, but the ma$$ media and pre$$ have lost all credibility on any of these issues and can no longer be believed in any event. This is them running defense for that criminal crime family and others ensured in the ince$tuous net. Trump f**ked up by sitting on this $hit and letting bar cover it up.

Driven by these new elements, the theory has morphed. PizzaGate no longer focuses on Clinton and has taken on less of a political bent. Its new targets and victims are a broader assortment of powerful businesspeople, politicians, and celebrities, including Justin Bieber, Bill Gates, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, and Chrissy Teigen, who are lumped together as part of the global elite. For groups like QAnon, PizzaGate has become a convenient way to foment discontent.

Unlike the manufactured racial and gender strife that fills my pre$$ (notice how the Bubba Wallace story completely stalled?), and looks like the younger generation has hit a nerve there. Keep going, kids!

See this: Pizzagate turned PedoGate Leads to Momentum Surge in Busting Global Child Sex Trafficking Rings

The pre$$ is in service of the pros, and is pushing COVID on you for THEIR CAUSE!

PizzaGate is reaching a level that nearly exceeds its 2016 fever pitch, according to an analysis by The New York Times. TikTok posts with the #PizzaGate hashtag have been viewed more than 82 million times in recent months. Google searches for PizzaGate have skyrocketed.

Oooooh!

So THAT is WHY the New York Times was called into action to issue a full-throated debunking. The TRUTH regarding the $ick $ychopaths in charge is GUSHING OUT!

In the first week of June, comments, likes, and shares of PizzaGate also spiked to more than 800,000 on Facebook and nearly 600,000 on Instagram, according to data from CrowdTangle, a Facebook-owned tool for analyzing social interactions.

The conspiracy has regained momentum even as its original targets — Clinton, her top aides, and a Washington pizzeria, Comet Ping Pong — are still dealing with the fallout.

Hateful comments have recently surged on the Facebook page and Yelp and Google review pages for Comet Ping Pong, where the child trafficking supposedly happened. The pizzeria’s owner, James Alefantis, said he had received fresh death threats that caused the FBI to open a new investigation two months ago.

“There are no real options for someone like me. I don’t have the names or numbers for people to call at Google or TikTok,” Alefantis said, “but I don’t want to be that person who lives their life in fear.”

It is about time you did, you sick f**k!

What I remember most about this is his brother's warped pictures in his apartment regarding children, and it reminds me of the Bill Clinton in a blue dress one that Epstein had. Places the pre$$ never goes, they just holler debunk.

PizzaGate was born in 2016 in online forums like 4chan and Reddit, where right-wing users and supporters of Donald Trump pored over hacked e-mails from John Podesta, Clinton’s senior campaign adviser, looking for evidence of wrongdoing. Some e-mails referring to Podesta’s dinner plans mentioned pizza. A 4chan participant then connected the phrase “cheese pizza” to pedophiles, who on chat boards use “c.p.” to denote child pornography.

They were not hacked e-mails, they were leaked e-mails and the guy that did it was shot dead on a D.C. street.

Alefantis, who is friends with Podesta’s brother, Tony, was mentioned in several of the e-mails. That led Internet users to connect his pizza parlor to their conspiracy.

The theory soon appeared in bogus publications like The Vigilant Citizen and The New Nationalist on Facebook and Instagram. On Twitter and YouTube, other users amplified the content.

It is thus with great pride that I feature The Vigilant Citizen on my blogroll. The NYT just confirmed it as a legitimate truth-telling site.

Fact-checkers debunked the idea, but weeks after the 2016 election, Edgar Welch, 32, a North Carolina resident, drove six hours to Comet Ping Pong to free what he believed were enslaved children. He shot several rounds from a military-style assault rifle into a locked closet door of the pizzeria and eventually surrendered to police. In 2017, he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Yeah, the pre$$ dropped the story after that false flag event meant to generate sympathy for the sick pedophiles that have infested the Demorat party, and who are the "fact-checkers" again?

Soon, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook suspended the accounts of users who had pushed PizzaGate and took down hundreds of related posts.

TRUTH NEVER FEARS INVESTIGATION!

To keep PizzaGate tamped down, the social media companies took other steps. Facebook made it impossible to search for hashtags such as #pizzagateisreal. On YouTube, searching for #pizzagate brought up a label that explained the term was part of a false conspiracy. Twitter also stopped #pizzagate from surfacing in its trending topics in the United States, but in April, a confluence of factors renewed interest.

Meaning there are TRUE CONSPIRACIES, huh?

One thing I am enjoying before the end is the falling down all over itself in contradiction by the pre$$ as they push sheer idiocy as reality these days.

A documentary promoting PizzaGate, “Out of Shadows,” made by a former Hollywood stuntman, was released on YouTube and passed around the QAnon community. In May, the idea that Bieber was connected to the conspiracy surfaced. Teenagers on TikTok began promoting both, as reported earlier by The Daily Beast.

I'll bet it has already been taken down.

YouTube said it had long demoted PizzaGate-related videos and removes them from its recommendation engine, including “Out of Shadows.” Twitter said it constantly eliminates PizzaGate posts and had updated its child sexual-exploitation policy to prevent harm from the conspiracy. Facebook said it had created new policies, teams, and tools to prevent falsehoods from spreading.

The pedophiles have them working overtime!

Makes you wonder what they have on the reporters and editors!

Teenagers and young adults are particularly susceptible to PizzaGate, said Travis View, a researcher and host of the “QAnon Anonymous” podcast, which examines conspiracy theories.

“It all becomes a game, and people are drawn in because it feels participatory,” View said.....

More than a game, and the infection is worse than COVID when it comes to the young; thus, the New York Times starts screaming in hysteria.
