The Boston Globe's Invisible Ink: Protecting Governor Patrick

The title refers to the fact that the article made the web version but never appeared in my printed copy.

I can't convey to you the feeling of despondency when I realize how much censorship and selectivity is going down at the most atrocious big-city War Daily ever.

Add the BLATANT, UNABASHED BIAS and it's enough to make me hurl my breakfast bowl of BG Bulls***. Maybe it was the
ride in.

"Gov. Patrick planning economic summit in Mass." by Glen Johnson, AP Political Writer | August 9, 2009

BOSTON --Gov. Deval Patrick wants to help push the economic recovery in Massachusetts rather than waiting for it to happen, so he's organizing an economic summit this fall.

The Democrat said Saturday he wants to bring together key business, financial and state officials from important job sectors and different regions in the state. With everyone in one place, he said, he wants specifics about what businesses need to resume hiring, how bankers and others can help and what the state can do to facilitate the process....

Oh, God!!

I think they have done enough already:

UBS Picks Up Pike

UBS Cuts Massachusetts a Break

The State Budget Swindle

Governor Guts State Services

Pigs at the State Trough

A Slow Saturday Special: Statehouse Slush Fund

Biotech Giveaway Was Borrowed Money

Massachusetts Residents Taken For a Ride

Slow Saturday Special: Day at the Movies

Massachusetts Democrats Keep Making the Same Mistakes

Can you find a few million in there, readers?

I can see why the Globe censored this and never put it in my printed paper.

Nonetheless, the state has seen slowing tax collections, prompting billions in budget cuts and a recent 25 percent increase in the sales tax, from 5 percent to 6.25 percent. Patrick is considering even further budget cuts, and the state's rainy day fund is at a recent low.

The governor noted Massachusetts is "faring better" than many other states, thanks to strength in its financial, health care, life sciences, alternative energy and educational sectors. He added: "This time we went in (recession) later, not as deep as the rest of the country, and using that platform, we want to come out faster."

He is really, really, making me sick with this s***-shoveling s***-spew. The sooner we are rid of this guy the better.

The meeting is being organized by Housing and Economic Development Secretary Greg Bialecki and Cathy Minehan, the former Boston Federal Reserve president who now serves as chairwoman of Patrick's Council of Economic Advisors....

That explains SOOOOO MUCH of this administration's actions right there.

The governor said the question he wants to ask everyone attending is, "Instead of just waiting for the economy to come around, how do we shape our future?"

What is WORSE, readers, is the GLOBE KNOWS!!!

"Patrick needs an agenda, not political skirmishes

.... Over time, that narrative has not been flattering, as Patrick’s sinking poll numbers demonstrate. A national recession forced him to make billions in budget cuts. He’s getting the blame for a sales tax increase, from 5 percent to 6.25 percent, that was driven by the dramatic drop in state revenue. The governor doesn’t even get much credit for the $8.7 billion in federal economic stimulus aid that Massachusetts is receiving to offset that, even though it’s clear Patrick’s friendship with President Obama is helping this state weather a fiscal storm.

Now, Patrick is talking about organizing an economic summit for the fall. It would be good to have a serious discussion of the Massachusetts economy. It would also be good to have a better understanding of the governor’s spending priorities....

Did you see my links, readers? No wonder they love the slimy little steamer-s***!
