"US forces deny role in Honduras coup" by Associated Press | August 17, 2009

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras - The US military said yesterday that its troops in Honduras did not know of and played no role in a flight that took ousted President Manuel Zelaya to exile during a military coup.

Uh-huh.

"Honduras: Military Coup Engineered By Two US Companies? I recently visited Central America. Everyone I talked with there was convinced that the military coup that had overthrown the democratically-elected president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, had been engineered by two US companies, with CIA support. And that the US and its new president were not standing up for democracy."

Just wondering why blogs get these reports and the MSM has no idea; well, actually, not really. I know what the MSM and Globe are now, and the sight and smell are most distasteful.

Zelaya says the Honduran military plane that flew him to Costa Rica on June 28 stopped to refuel at Soto Cano, a Honduran air base that is home to 600 US soldiers, sailors, and airmen engaged in counternarcotics operations and other missions in Central America....

Other missions?

"Covert action programs, a particularly secret category in which the role of the United States is hidden"

That's why I'm not reading about them in my truth, whole truth, nothing but truth newspaper.

The Obama administration.... has stopped short of imposing trade sanctions that could cripple the Honduran economy, which is highly dependent on exports to the United States....

Yeah, the DOUBLE-STANDARDS STINK to HIGH HEAVEN and TELL YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!

So does the WHACK-a-WHACK whack at the Globe news desk.

Web version I pulled down yesterday (verbatim print, just adders)

"US military denies role in Honduras coup flight" by Freddy Cuevas, Associated Press Writer | August 16, 2009

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras -- Zelaya, a wealthy rancher who aligned himself with leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez during his presidency, has increasingly voiced frustration with Washington for failing to impose tougher penalties.

Thus the U.S.-SUPPORTED COUP and subsequent inaction.

During a visit to Brazil last week, Zelaya spoke of the stop at Soto Cano, also known as Palmerola, and voiced suspicions of U.S. complicity in the coup -- although he stressed that he did not believe the highest levels of the Obama administration were involved.

"The Obama administration has been firm in condemning the coup and demanding my restitution. I do not see reasons to believe that the Obama administration has two faces," Zelaya said.

"Now, there are some elements of the CIA that could have been involved. When they took me by plane to Costa Rica, it was a short flight but the plane made a stop at the Palmerola air base to refuel," he added. "Palmerola is a base administered by Honduran and U.S. troops. If it was a short flight, some 40 minutes, why did they have to refuel at Palmerola base?

Patricia Valle, who served as Zelaya's deputy foreign minister, reiterated those suspicions Saturday, although she gave no evidence that American personnel at the base interacted with the Honduran military officials on the plane or that they even knew Zelaya was there....

Hey, AmeriKa's media and government do that all the time and the MSM never make a big dea... right.

Valle told the AP: "The United States was involved in the coup against Zelaya."

President Roberto Micheletti.... voiced his own anger over Washington's stance on the coup, saying he hoped that U.S. Ambassador Hugo Llorens would not return to Honduras from a trip abroad. The U.S. Embassy has said Llorens left Honduras temporarily for personal reasons and has not been withdrawn from his post.

"I understand he is on vacation, so I hope he doesn't come back," Micheletti said Saturday during a meeting with more than 3,000 army reservists in the northern city of San Pedro Sula.

How's that for an insult, 'murkns? Usually you get mad at such stuff.

You know, I'M SICK of the MSM GAMES!!!

Of course, that newspaper you are picking up is giving you truth, whole truth, and nothing but truth, right?

I figured I would add this because it is part of the overall U.S. plans for the region.

"Obama is lost in space, Chavez says" by Reuters | August 17, 2009

CARACAS - Despite Chávez’s frequent tirades against US imperialism, the United States remains the main client for his nation’s oil, although Venezuela, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, is gradually increasing sales to other countries, especially China....

You can SEE why the US wants to get rid of him (and the MSM bias).

Chávez is furious, however, at a US security agreement with Colombia that will give the Pentagon access to seven Colombian military bases. Chávez has cut trade with his neighbor as a reprisal. The US and Colombia say the deal is an expansion of an existing accord and will help fight drug traffickers. Chávez says a larger US troop presence risks sparking war in the region.

Yeah, and AmeriKa NEVER INVADES NATIONS over PHONY REASONS or anything. If I were Chaves, I'd be worried, too. They already tried once before in 2002.

This is it, folks. They are doing the plan, come hell or high water.
