So it's all political fooleys for us, isn't it?
Front-men (and women) faces while the "work" goes on behind closed doors, huh, MSM?
"Daschle back in D.C. to work on health care" by Erica Werner, Associated Press | December 3, 2009
WASHINGTON - Look who’s at the health care negotiating table - Tom Daschle.
The former Senate Democratic leader’s nomination as health and human services secretary was derailed earlier this year by a flap over unpaid taxes. But that’s not stopping Daschle, a close ally of President Obama, from playing a significant role in the Capitol Hill talks, much as he’d be doing if he’d actually gotten the job. The outsized role is unusual for someone who’s an adviser to lobbying firms, especially given Obama’s campaign vow to change business as usual in Washington....
What, another campaign pledge broken?
I don't even highlight them anymore!
And this is NOT ACTUALLY NEWS, is it?
But it's tying up space in my "news"paper."
Unlike the others, Daschle is no longer a government official, elected or appointed. He works for a prominent lobbying firm, DLA Piper, though he himself is not a registered lobbyist and has said he is more comfortable being described as a “resource’’ for former colleagues and others.
Yeah, but it is the SAME as if he had GOTTEN the JOB!!!!
And you wonder why America is crumbling?
Daschle’s involvement in the health care talks might seem to present a conflict of interest problem for an administration that’s vowed to keep lobbyists at arm’s length....
Yeah, well, this administration is about as credible as the last.
Didn't take him all that long, either!

I guess when agenda-pushers run out of stories they recycle them. That also explains the text of so many articles!
