I got two of them.
"Bernanke honored, assailed" by Associated Press | December 17, 2009
WASHINGTON - Time’s Person of the Year one moment; object of Senate scorn the other.
They send me a card with a picture of Bernanke?

Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke faces a vote today in the Senate Banking Committee on his nomination for another four-year term as head of the nation’s central bank. But yesterday - the day Time magazine gave him its highest honor as Person of the Year - senators were blaming him for failing to anticipate the financial crisis and for approving massive bailouts.
Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent liberal from Vermont, called him a “key architect of the Bush economy.’’ Sanders has placed a “hold’’ on the nomination, meaning a super-majority of 60 votes is needed to confirm Bernanke. Bernanke’s term ends Jan. 31. Unless Sanders relents a full Senate vote is not expected until next month. The Fed chairman is apt to have enough support to win in committee and in the full Senate.

I'm afraid to open the other one:
"Obama thanks US troops who are serving overseas
It's from the Obamas!
In his first Christmas message as commander in chief, President Obama paid tribute yesterday to the men and women fighting two wars, all those serving overseas, those wounded in battle, and the loved ones of those who fell on the battlefield....
Obama, who also called selected service members from the White House before he left for Hawaii for the holidays, said in his weekly Internet and radio address:
“I’ve been humbled, profoundly, by patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom - in flag-draped caskets coming home at Dover, in the quiet solitude of Arlington.’’
In a rarity for the weekly address, Michelle Obama joined in. She has made helping military families one of her primary causes, and she and the president asked all Americans to find a way to assist them:
“If you live near a military base, you can reach out through your workplaces, your schools, your churches. . . . Even if you don’t know a military family nearby, your family can still help by donating or volunteering.’’
Yes, SERVE MILITARISM and EMPIRE.
No though the ENDING the LIES and the WARS from the new First Family.
In the weekly Republican address, Representative Duncan Hunter of California also urged Americans to think about service members:
“Thoughts of home remind us of why we serve: because we’re proud to be Americans, because we want to pass on to our children the blessings of liberty that we inherited from our forefathers, and because nothing matters more to us than protecting our homes and our families.’’
Yeah, I just wish that is what we were really doing, Dunc.
So ENDING the WARS and REUNITING FAMILIES is NOT an OPTION, huh?
