"Fenway bomb report deemed mistaken
Police responded to a bomb threat at Fenway Park shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, two hours before the start of last night’s game, but determined that the threat was unfounded.

Bomb squad responded,’’ said Officer James Kenneally, a police spokesman. “Nothing was found.’’ The park was not evacuated, and inside the park, few people seemed to be aware of the threat. “Bomb squad?’’ second baseman Dustin Pedroia said after seeing a television report about the threat. “They’re early.’’
