YOU WILL NOT BE SEEING ANY MONEY despite the rhetoric coming from the White House, Americans!

Yeah, he owns it now. BP bought it for him.

And WHO IS GOING TO PAY the BILL, American taxpayers?

THAT'S RIGHT, you are!

"Federal law may limit BP’s liability in oil spill" by Associated Press | May 4, 2010

WASHINGTON — A federal law may limit how much BP has to pay for damages such as lost wages and economic suffering in the Gulf Coast oil spill, despite President Obama’s assurances that taxpayers will not be on the hook.

Well, he's proven himself to be incredibly delusional and out of touch liar so that's not surprising.

A law passed in response to the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska makes BP responsible for cleanup costs. But the law sets a $75 million limit on other kinds of damages.

Economic losses to the Gulf Coast are likely to exceed that. In response, several Democratic senators introduced a measure yesterday to raise the liability limit to $10 billion, though it was not clear it could be made to apply retroactively.

Yeah, ONLY ILLEGAL SPYING by TELECOMS for the GOVERNMENT can be given UNCONSTITUTIONALLY IMMUNITY retroactively!

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said yesterday that the administration’s commitment was for BP to pay for all costs associated with the spill.

During a tour of the area Sunday, Obama said, “Let me be clear: BP is responsible for this leak; BP will be paying the bill.’’

You know, the more I see or hear this guy the more disdain and dislike have for him. It's worse than a Bush effect, and I hated that mofo.

Nevertheless, the existence of the liability cap might complicate Obama’s commitments to make BP pay for numerous costs anticipated in the Gulf, such as shortened fishing seasons and lost tourism.

Oh, ANOTHER BROKEN PROMISE, zzzzzzzzzz?

A company representative did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment on whether claims would be paid out over $75 million.

But the MSM can get the movers and shakers to respond -- unlike truth-telling bloggers.

Pffft!
