Gaza Squeezed Straight

It gets harder and harder to read article about Palestine in my Zionist War Daily. I'm simply tired of the Jewish supremacism, cries for pity, and obfuscation of war crimes.

"Hamas unable to pay government workers" by Associated Press | May 3, 2010

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Hamas confirmed yesterday it is unable to pay thousands of government workers in full for a second straight month — a new sign that the Islamic militants are caught in what may be the most serious cash crunch in three years of ruling Gaza.

Yeah, if you can't get Fatah to oust them in a coup and Israel can't dislodge and kill them all then by all means, strangle the f***ing s*** out of the place.

Hamas dismisses rumors of a financial crisis and insists its money woes are temporary.

However, it has resorted to an unpopular tax drive to raise money, suggesting that a heavy blockade on the territory, an Egyptian crackdown on smuggling, and an increasingly expensive government bureaucracy are taking their toll.

See, NO ONE LIKES TAXES for GOVERNMENT!

Of course, in this case it is simply money needed to survive, but it's a Zionist War Daily.

The hunt for revenue has prompted a rare public backlash, hinting at a small crack in Hamas’s hold on power.

Oh, Israel is sooo hoping and will do everything they can to widen that crack!

A 40 percent tax on cigarettes set off a flurry of angry text messages among smokers, and a small opposition group warned the new taxes could unleash a popular revolt.

Oh, like in the U.S.?

Shouldn't be smoking anyway.

Hamas acknowledges it is having trouble bringing in money from abroad — no small problem for a government that says it raises only 10 percent of its revenue locally.

The Islamists are secretive about the sources of their money, but they are believed to get large sums from Iran and a network of Hamas supporters abroad.

Once again we have the Zionist MSM that Madoff with billions hollering kettle!!!

I can't read this crap anymore.

Cash is typically smuggled through a network of tunnels under Gaza’s border with Egypt.

Tunnels that are often shut down or under stress.

And what are they doing burning their drugs?

"Hamas burns popular recreational drug" by Associated Press | April 21, 2010

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — Gaza’s Hamas rulers yesterday burned nearly 2 million pills of a painkiller many Gazans take recreationally because they say it relaxes them and provides temporary relief from the territory’s hardships.

Yeah, all the Gazans are a bunch of drugged-out crazies.

At least they aren't drunk, drugged-up, mass-murdering Zionists!

The disposal of the drugs comes days after the Islamic militant group confiscated cigarettes from Gaza shops to collect taxes on them. Both moves are part of Hamas’s efforts to strengthen its grip on Gaza and impose its strict interpretation of Islam on the impoverished seaside territory’s 1.5 million Palestinian residents.

I'm tired of the propaganda and lies, I really, really am.

Hamas Health Minister Basim Naim said authorities burned some 1.7 million pills of a drug called Tramadol that had been seized from smugglers who sneak it through tunnels under the Egyptian border.

Tramadol is a powerful painkiller, related to morphine and heroin, though most countries don’t treat it as a controlled substance.

And who would want to hook the Palestinians up to debilitating drugs, huh?

Of course, given their choices, I'm popping a couple myself.

Specialists have said that those who stop taking the drug after regular use often develop flulike withdrawal symptoms, though long-term effects are rare.

A sheet of eight pills costs around 40 shekels, or a little over $10.

Gaza’s Health Ministry recognizes the drug as a painkiller, Naim said, but allows its sale only by prescription.

The drug’s popularity in Gaza has grown in recent years as the quality of life has plummeted.

And we KNOW WHOSE WAR CRIMINAL SIEGE is responsible for that!

Hamas seized the territory from forces loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in 2007, and Israel and Egypt imposed a strict blockade in 2007, causing shortages of many basic goods.

No, they WON LEGITIMATE ELECTIONS and the MSM KNOWS THAT but they CONTINUE to REPEAT the LIE!!!

That is why I NEVER BELIEVE THEM on ANYTHING ANYMORE -- especially regarding all things Israel!

"Netanyahu pleased that peace talks will resume; Israeli leader, Mitchell might meet this week" by Aron Heller, Associated Press | May 3, 2010

JERUSALEM — Abbas’s rivals in the militant Islamic Hamas movement, which seized control of Gaza from Abbas’s forces nearly three years ago, rejected the Arab League endorsement.

They did it again.

Once is a mistake and error; hundreds if not thousands of times is deliberate.

Yeah, they are blinder than a bat.

Hamas said the decision “provides a new cover for Israel to commit more crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.’’

Yeah, that's right.
