Weathering the MSM Lies

Please see The MSM's Silent Farts on Global Warming and related links within, readers. I'm tired of their lying, agenda-pushing, carbon-taxing fart mist that is taxing my patience.

The Globe laid some loud ones today

"Threat from warming is closer than thought" by Associated Press | February 24, 2009

WASHINGTON - The Earth won't have to warm up as much as had been thought to cause serious consequences of global warming, including more extreme weather and increasing threats to plants and animals, says an international team of climate specialists.

Yeah, sure:

Meanwhile, TV and newspaper keep telling me it's gonna be warming up and that ice will be melting; of course, the temps stay below freezing and it's a windy outdoor ice-rink out there, but who you gonna believe? Your own senses or the lying, agenda-pushing newspaper here?

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimated that the risk of increased severe weather would rise with a global average temperature increase of between 1.8 degrees and 3.6 degrees above 1990 levels.

LIARS!

The National Climatic Data Center currently reports that global temperatures have risen 0.22 degree since 1990.

In OTHER WORDS, the "researchers" are FULL OF SHIT!! They MAKE STUFF UP, RIG RESULTS, and CALL IT SCIENCE!!

How can you TRUST THEM ANYMORE (answer: you can't)?!!!

Oh, btw, the TEMPERATURES are GOING DOWN, too!!!!

"This month's temperatures are running 3 to 4 degrees colder than normal.... Temperatures this frigid month are also well below the January average of 29.3 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. On many days the temperature plummeted more than 15 degrees below the historical average for that day"

And about LAST SUMMER?

"The EPA attributed the decrease to fewer days with temperatures exceeding 90 degrees"

So FARMER'S was RIGHT and the LYING GOVERNMENT and MSM were WRONG?

"The almanac's winter forecast is at odds with that of the National Weather Service, whose trends-based outlook calls for warmer-than-normal temperatures over much of the country.... the almanac was on target in the 2008 edition when it called for the Northeast and the Great Lakes to be hit with a long, cold winter with lots of snow..... The Old Farmer's Almanac, based in Dublin, N.H., predicted "global cooling" for the next two decades. The forecast was based on an expected change in sunspots and ocean temperatures, still better-understood factors than climate change, said the almanac's editor, Janice Stillman."We're looking forward to cooler-than-normal conditions for quite some time," Stillman said in a telephone interview."

"Some maritime glaciers.... have grown in recent years, including 2007.... They include glaciers at Nigardsbreen, Norway, and Alaska that were helped by temperatures that remain below freezing and ample snow"

Keep that last one in mind for later.

Now, researchers report that.... "it is now more likely than not that human activity has contributed...."

Other researchers, they noted, have suggested that "the likelihood of the 2003 heat wave in Europe, which led to the death of tens of thousands of people, was substantially increased by increased greenhouse gas concentrations."

First of all, that was SIX YEARS AGO!! Is that the BEST YOU GOT?

Secondly, ARE YOU SURE it was THAT MANY, ALARMIST PRESS? I think it was HUNDREDS, dudes!!!

And THIRD, yeah, it was ALL GREENHOUSE GAS FAULT, pffffffffttttt!!!!

So WHO YA GONNA BELIEVE, 'murka (a page B4 special)!?

PORTLAND, Maine - A winter storm blew through northern New England yesterday, dumping 2 feet of snow in spots, forcing hundreds of schools to cancel classes and leaving tens of thousands of homes and businesses without power.

The kids must have been cheering anyway.

More than 127,000 utility customers in Maine remained without electricity last evening after wet, heavy snow snapped tree limbs, power lines, and utility poles. The Maine Emergency Management Agency said about 15 warming shelters had been set up around the state. Bangor Hydro Electric urged residents who lacked power to prepare for the possibility that it might not be restored until tomorrow.

I hope my follower up there is okay!

Lows for early today were forecast in the single digits in northern Maine, and about 20 degrees in the south, the National Weather Service said. Governor John Baldacci declared a state of emergency, extending the hours that power crews can work to restore electricity. Baldacci, who was in Washington attending a National Governors Association conference, returned to Maine yesterday afternoon....

Ummmm, NO OFFENSE, guv, but WHAT WAS the CARBON WASTEPRINT on all the GALLIVANTING at TAXPAYERS' EXPENSE?

Heavy snow fell across most of Maine through yesterday morning, with some places reporting rates of 3 to 4 inches per hour. In Vermont, driving snow covered roads and forced the closure of northbound Interstate 89 between Waterbury and Richmond for two hours yesterday because of accidents, the Vermont State Police said.

"We're having a hell of a time right now," said Larry Dodge, a Vermont Transportation Agency dispatcher....

Ah, I HEARD it was WARMING UP!!!!!

Hundreds of schools in Maine canceled classes for the day on what was supposed to be the first day back after a weeklong vacation. The storm caused some school closings in Vermont and New Hampshire, but many were already closed for vacation.

Oh, the KIDS WERE LOVING IT!!!!!!! I can hear their YAAAAYYYYS!!!!!

The deepest snowfall was in the northern Maine town of Milo, which received 28 inches, according to the weather service. Other impressive amounts included 26 inches in Farmington and 25 inches in Bridgton, both in Maine. New Durham, N.H., reported 17 inches.

You ready for some MORE FRONT-SECTION SHIT LIES, Amurka?

"In Antarctica, meeting of polar and political minds; US-Norway team reports on melting" by Charles J. Hanley, Associated Press | February 24, 2009

TROLL RESEARCH STATION, Antarctica - Policy makers met polar explorers on the boundless ice of Antarctica yesterday as a US-Norwegian scientific expedition came in from the cold to report on the continent's ice sheets, a potential source for a catastrophic "big melt" from global warming.

Yeah, I heard about that:

Possible natural explanation found for West Antarctica's warming

"The cultists have been screaming that the warmer temperatures in west Antarctica were proof of human-caused global warming. Nope. There's a volcano down there." --Wake the flock up

How come my shit-shoveling MSM article doesn't tell me that?

"Our preliminary finding is that there's a slight warming trend in East Antarctica," American glaciologist Ted Scambos told the group of visiting environment ministers.

Oh, it's EAST Antarctica is it?

Ice expanse growing in Antarctica

It was an early estimate regarding just one region of a huge continent, drawn from first analyses of ice cores drilled along the team's route. But it caught the ear of the visiting politicians, who are this year weighing a grand new global deal for cutting greenhouse-gas emissions to avert the worst of climate change.

Have you HAD IT with the LIES YET?

"It's important to hear the latest science," said Hilary Benn, Britain's environment minister. "I was impressed that they're finding temperatures rising. But there is still so much not known."

I'm really getting angry and can't comment now.

Representatives from more than a dozen nations, including the United States, China, and Russia, rendezvoused at this Norwegian research station with the scientists completing the last leg of a 1,400-mile, two-month trek over the ice from the South Pole.

The 12-member Norwegian-American Scientific Traverse of East Antarctica was a leading project in the 2007-2009 International Polar Year. It is a mobilization of 10,000 scientists and 40,000 others from more than 60 countries engaged in intense Arctic and Antarctic research over the past two Southern summer seasons, on the ice, at sea, via icebreaker, submarine and surveillance satellite.

Learning more about historic temperature trends has been a prime concern in examining whether global warming, already occurring elsewhere on the planet, might cause Antarctica's huge store of ice to start melting, raising sea levels, potentially to a disastrous point for coastal cities and shorelines worldwide.

What do you mean MIGHT START MELTING, assholes?

You guys said they ALREADY WERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking to the environment ministers over breakfast, Kim Holmen, research director for the Norwegian Polar Institute, the Troll station's operator, noted that scientists had generally thought Antarctica as a whole was not warming in recent decades. But a recent study in the journal Nature shook that view.

"This new analysis shows us actually the whole of Antarctica has been warming," Holmen said. The preliminary finding from the on-the-ground Traverse expedition, if it is confirmed, would reinforce that Nature study, which extrapolated temperature trends by blending satellite information with scarce weather-station data available in and around Antarctica.

In OTHER WORDS, America, they MADE IT UP!!!!!!!!!

By drilling cores into the annual layers of ice sheet in this little-explored region, the trekkers from the South Pole were also gathering data on how much snow has fallen historically.

And if COOLER PERIODS been getting HAMMERED with the stuff then.... I go outside to shovel and scream LIARS at the SKY (as my tired old muscles and bones pold forth with shovel in hand, liars)!!!!!

Such work will be combined with another International Polar Year project, an all-out effort to map by satellite radar information about Antarctic ice sheets over the past two summers, an attempt to assess how fast ice is being pushed into the surrounding sea.

Yup, an ALL OUT EFFORT to SELL the SHIT PILE once again!!!!!

Then scientists may understand better the "mass balance," how much the snow, originating with ocean evaporation, is offsetting the ice pouring seaward. That, in turn, would help them judge how fast and high ocean levels may rise from Antarctic melt.

Since Antarctica accounts for 90 percent of the world's ice, "a small change in accumulation rate in this area could lead to significant sea-level rise," Tom Neumann, American leader of the Traverse, told the ministers.

The visitors also included the environment ministers of Algeria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Other countries were represented by climate policy makers and negotiators, including Xie Zhenhua of China and Dan Reifsnyder, a deputy assistant US secretary of state.

During their long day here under the brilliant 17-hour sunlight of a dying southern summer, when the temperature still dropped to near-zero Fahrenheit, the group traveled by snow tractor over the 1,500-foot-deep ice sheet to stand in awe before Judulsessen, a jagged wall of towering peaks in the 8,000-foot-high Gjelsvik Mountains.

Oh, they STOOD in front of an AWESOME GLACIER as the TEMPS DROPPED to NEAR ZERO FAHRENHEIT (not Celsius)!!!

That's BELOW 32-degrees FREEZING, AmeriKa!!!!!

It was a spectacular finish to four days together for the ministers, whose original two-day weekend visit was shortened to a day trip after rough Antarctic weather repeatedly canceled their flight in.

Oh, the ROUGH WARMING CANCELED THEIR FLIGHT IN, huh?

Readers, PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I have only one more thing to say: PFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!
