Still Sick Saturday: Swedish Star Wars

Honestly, this particular piece of staged and contrived propaganda is so silly it is beneath a response:

"School attack that killed 2 prompts soul-searching for Sweden" by Dan Bilefsky New York Times  October 23, 2015

LONDON — When a 21-year-old man, dressed in a black mask and a cape, and carrying a sword like a “Star Wars” character, entered a school in southwest Sweden on Thursday morning, students thought he was a Halloween prankster. Two pupils even posed with him for a photograph.

But there was nothing innocent about the man’s intentions. When a teacher asked what he was doing, the intruder stabbed him with the sword.

The man — whom police identified Friday as Anton Lundin Pettersson — continued his rampage through the school in the small industrial city of Trollhattan, and appeared to choose his victims among people with immigrant backgrounds.

Is he also the one that burned down the immigrant center, or was that someone else?

More agenda-pushing Gladio-style psyops I see.

News accounts said he killed a 20-year-old male teacher and a 17-year-old pupil from Somalia, and wounded two others — a teacher in her early 40s, and a 15-year-old student from Syria — before he was fatally shot by the police.

It's the same script, each and every time.

Are you sure he wasn't part of a gang?

During the attack, according to Swedish news reports, he shouted, “I am your father” — a line from Darth Vader in one of the “Star Wars” movies. Witnesses told reporters he played creepy music during the attack.

They just jumped the shark.

On Friday, details about the suspect, who was from Trollhattan and did not have a criminal record, began to emerge, and officials said they were treating the attack as a hate crime.

The police said they had found a note in Pettersson’s apartment that showed that the attack was racially motivated, but they declined to elaborate on its contents. Stefan Gustafsson, a police spokesman, said the authorities had confiscated the attacker’s car, parked close to the school, and had found a sword scabbard in it.

What a swirling steamer this is!

“We can see that he had clothes related to right-wing groups, and we found some other things that pointed in that direction,” Gustafsson said in a phone interview. “It is too early to talk of a precise motive. The path to his becoming a killer is a long journey.”

How could he know that last thing when they just started the investigation?

The attack occurred as Sweden, like Germany and other European countries, has struggled to accommodate a wave of people fleeing conflict and deprivation. The killings occurred on the same day that the Swedish Migration Agency forecast that as many as 190,000 refugees would stream into the country this year — more than double previous forecasts.

Yeah, we can see the agenda-pushing aspect and quality to this.

After the attack, the interior minister, Anders Ygeman, urged Sweden to “mobilize all good forces against this racist violence,” and defended the country’s legacy of openness to newcomers.

Gee, who would want to stir up race hatred at this time of yawning wealth inequality and mass poverty?

While the police said they were investigating whether the episode was a lone wolf attack or could have been connected to an extremist group, the attack spurred soul-searching. Sweden prides itself on its openness, generous welfare benefits, and social cohesion, and violent crime remains relatively rare, especially in schools.

Swedes were left asking how such a crime could have happened. The country is divided between those who see the attack as terrorism or a hate crime, and those who see it as the act of a single troubled man, said David Brax, a researcher at the University of Gothenburg who studies hate crimes.

“The nation is in shock, and there is a lot of polarization,” he said.

Brax said the attack came at a time of simmering resentment in some quarters against refugees and the strains they can place on the country.

“The arrival of large numbers of refugees has created a reaction in some places of, ‘Not in my backyard,’ ” he said.

"Knife-wielding man slays two at school in Sweden" by Dan Bilefsky New York Times  October 23, 2015

I thought it was a sword.

LONDON — A 21-year-old man armed with a sword or a large knife entered a school in southwest Sweden on Thursday, killing a teacher and a student and wounding two other people before he was fatally shot by police, authorities said.

The attack occurred in the cafe area of a school in Kronogarden, a working-class and heavily immigrant neighborhood in the struggling industrial city of Trollhattan, which is about 45 miles north of Sweden’s second-largest city, Goteborg. The suspect was taken to a hospital and died there, the police said.

The attack stunned Sweden, where violent crime is rare.who the hell goes to a school with a sword on October 22nd for Halloween?

“Sweden is in shock,” King Carl XVI Gustaf said in a statement.

Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, on his way to the school, said in a statement, “This is a dark day for Sweden.”

He continued: “My thoughts go out to the victims and their families, pupils and staff, and the entire community that has been affected. There are no words to describe what they are going through right now.”

Stefan Gustafsson, a spokesman for the regional police, said in a phone interview that the police had been called to the scene about 10:10 a.m. and had shot the suspect, whose name was not revealed.

According to the police, the suspect used the blade to slash his victims.

Laith Alazze, a 14-year-old student, said at first he thought the attacker — who was clad in black and wearing a helmet that masked his eyes — had something to do with Halloween. ‘‘One of my friends walked over to him to challenge him, but when we saw he stabbed (the teacher), we ran away,’’ Alazze told Sweden’s TV4.

‘‘He walked sort of like a soldier with a sword in his hand,’’ another student, identified only as Edona, told the station.

Stinking of a false flag.

Maria Randsalu, a police spokeswoman, said the suspect had been living in Trollhattan. She said the police did not yet know his mental state or motive. He had no criminal record.

A police investigator, Thord Haraldsson, told reporters that a racist motive was ‘‘part of the picture.’’ He did not elaborate.

The school was built in 2009 and has more than 400 students from preschool through ninth grade, the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet reported.

The newspaper Expressen quoted a news photographer on the scene, Stefan Bennhage, describing “complete chaos” and saying that one ambulance, responding to the scene, had failed to stop and crashed into a school wall.

Unlike in the United States, which has been roiled by a series of deadly shootings at schools and universities, violent attacks at schools are very rare in Sweden. As of 2009, according to a report by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention, there had not been a school shooting in Sweden with multiple victims.

Felipe Estrada, a criminologist at Stockholm University, said the country has been convulsed by the event.

“Schools are seen as places where our kids are safe,” Estrada said. “It is shocking, and it is very, very rare to see lethal violence between people who don’t know each other or against children.”
