Homeless Hoofing It in Boston

Okay, let's review:

TRILLIONS to BANKS, WARS, and ISRAEL.

Homeless vets living on the streets of AmeriKa.

And now comes this INSULTING, SELF-SERVING CRAP as FEEL-GOOD FILLER?

"Program helps homeless find their footing" by Geoff Edgers, Globe Staff | May 23, 2010

This was no fun run. They were asked to be the first members of the new Boston chapter of Back on My Feet, a nationally recognized nonprofit that uses running to help the homeless rebuild their lives.

The first thing I noticed was a tax-exempt non-prof; the second thought was WHERE is this $$$ coming from (and why do I suspect it is a certain religious identification with stolen loot considering the source of this crap)?

But LET'S GIVE the ARTICLE a CHANCE!

After all, this is a GOOD THING, right?

How can their be an AGENDA here?

Today the organization will distribute running shoes to 30 men, from Hope House, Boston Rescue Mission, and St. Francis House, who are forming the Boston team. Tomorrow, the chapter will launch with an official run, followed by a breakfast at the Copley Marriott....

I'm sure they will APPRECIATE the EATS; however, why not GET 'EM a ROOF rather than some SHOES?

Back on My Feet’s arrival to Boston ends a feud that erupted last year when a local runner tried to start a similar group, to help homeless veterans, only to be thwarted when the New England Center for Homeless Veterans worried he would divert fund-raising dollars from them....

So BANKS, WARS and ISRAEL get TRILLIONS while HOMELESS VETS STRUGGLE over spittle and scraps!!!

Is this the AmeriKa the world is seeing, or are they filled with propaganda about the country as well?

The organization is the brainchild of Anne Mahlum, 29, a North Dakota native who founded it in Philadelphia in 2007. Now in Washington, she came to Boston on Thursday for the inaugural jog. The group stretched in the parking lot behind Hope House and ran down Hampden Street. Within 100 yards, the field spread. Some runners were comfortable, others started shuffling by the first cross street, slowing and gasping for breath.

This reminds me off the bike ride through the city.

Yup, the HOMELESS, UNHEALTHIES were WHEEZING and CHOKING, huh? Sigh!

“I’m disappointed I let myself go,’’ said Dana Faust, 34, who was dealing and using cocaine and heroin until recently and had moved into Hope House two days earlier....

Then he DOESN'T REALLY NEED RUNNING SHOES, does he?

Mahlum, fit from running marathons, including Boston in 2007, paced the group early, then drifted back to help others.

Okay, look, she is a MARATHONER, huh?

Sort of like the Olympian Freedman pushing the Boston bike program that will get you killed?

And WHAT is with the COMPETITIVE NATURE against HOMELESS DRUG ADDICTS, huh?

Just PICTURE the SCENE in your mind: the race starts, she gets out ahead, turns around, and then starts circling back.

Could she REALLY BE THAT CLUELESS?

Oh, right, she is only 29.

And GET a GOOD WIND on these NEXT FEW PARAGRAPHS that are BURIED in the MIDDLE of the story:

Later, she said she feels a connection with addicts because her father, Mark, had a gambling problem that broke up her family.

“That’s why she does this,’’ said Sonja Mahlum, her mother. “She does it because she wanted to help her dad and couldn’t help him.’’

And HERE YOU ARE GETTING GAMBLING HOUSES because the lootislatures misspent, mismanaged, and stole all your tax dough, Massachusetts!!!!!

Anne, who remains close to her father, said she shares his addictive personality.

Then I DO NOT WANT THEM in CHARGE of ANYTHING, do you?

“I’m never going to be balanced, I’m never going to be even-keeled,’’ she said. “I’ve channeled my addictive behavior into running and helping people.’’

But, IT'S OKAY to be OBSESSED HERE!

God help you if you are "OBSESSED" about TRUTH, JUSTICE, or the END of MASS-MURDERING WARS based on LIES!!!

And WAIT until you see the DO-GOODERS MOTIVATION$, dear readers!!!

Back on My Feet started when Mahlum, who studied at American University, was between jobs and would jog by a homeless shelter. After bantering with the men outside, she decided to get them running shoes and start a club.

Sounds REAL ALTRUISTIC, doesn't it?

These days, most of Back on My Feet’s $3.4 million budget covers expenses, including equipment, gear, and incentive programs to help members pay rent and get jobs.

Why can't ALL OF IT go for HOUSING and TRILLIONS for BANKS, WARS and ISRAEL while "MILLIONS" are FOUGHT OVER for HOMELESS VETS?

Mahlum earns $75,000 a year.

Ooooooooooh, so the NON-PROF "idea" is the NEW JOB, huh?

Yeah, once again we see ANOTHER TAX-EXEMPT, SELF-SERVING "non-prof" -- and we can not have single-payer health care?

She plans to expand to 10 more cities by the end of 2011....

Mahlum decided to expand to Boston after reading a Globe story about Shannon Varney , a former Goldman Sachs analyst who, having lost his job, founded his organization last year.

Oh, the STINKING AGENDA-PUSHING, readers!!!

So the BILLIONS in BONUSES and PROFITS those leaches made TURNING PEOPLE INTO HOMELESS is one of the HEROES of the STORY?

How much of HIS PAY was THIS S***TER putting into charity before Goldman f***ed him, and am I supposed to feel sorry for him because HE IS NOW DRAWING a CHECK, too?!!

When the New England Center for Homeless Veterans opposed his effort, Mahlum hired Varney to lead her Boston chapter. At last week’s run, he was there, encouraging first-timers like Darren Killeen.

Born in Worcester, Killeen, 38, has been in and out of jail for years and was released after his latest arrest for drug dealing two weeks ago.

Not every runner sticks with the program, but there are success stories.

Oh, I AM SO SICK of SELECTIVE FILLER, if you know what I mean, readers!!!

Kevin Brown, 52, was a cocaine addict who bottomed out last summer when he woke up in a crack house covered in cockroaches....

I think I will LEAVE IT RIGHT THERE, dear readers!

--more--"

I'm about to make my own run, readers; wonder what insults I will find today.
