Masked Madness

Their answer would be take a pill:

"The Face Mask Placebo" by Bill Sardi, July 17, 2020

MASSIVE OUTBREAK OF PUBLIC STUPIDITY AS MASSES FEARFULLY WEAR INEFFECTIVE FACE MASKS IN NEED TO RELIEVE THEIR COVID-19-INDUCED ANXIETY.

Health Authorities Admit Face Masks Don’t Halt Infectivity But The Fearful Masses Need Something To Handle Public Anxiety. Even The New England Journal Of Medicine Admits The Futility Of Wearing Face Masks To Protect Against COVID-19 Coronavirus.

What is desperately needed are valium-laced face masks with drug-laced inserts to facilitate the continued aerosol delivery of anti-anxiety medications directly into the lungs.  Public anxiety over a contrived threat from a mutated coronavirus has the masses acting like frightened sheep.

You mean face masks aren’t going to protect me from getting the dreaded COVID-19 coronavirus?  Answer: They are not.

You mean face masks don’t really keep me from spreading the infection to others?  Answer: No.

Here are direct quotes from The New England Journal of Medicine April 1, 2020 report on universal face masking to protect against transmission of the COVID-19 Coronavirus:
“We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection…
“The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is… minimal….
“…During the care of a patient with unrecognized Covid-19…. A mask alone in this setting will reduce risk only slightly, however, since it does not provide protection from droplets that may enter the eyes or from fomites on the patient or in the environment that providers may pick up on their hands and carry to their mucous membranes (particularly given the concern that mask wearers may have an increased tendency to touch their faces)…..
“…Universal masking alone is not a panacea….
“The extent of marginal benefit of universal masking over and above these foundational measures is debatable….
“Expanded masking protocols’ greatest contribution may be to reduce the transmission of anxiety.”
In fact, by wearing masks you may be delaying others from developing memory antibodies for long-lasting protection against viral infection so our society can return to normal.

Predicted food shortages from fearful employees not showing up for work and closure of restaurants reducing demand for foodstuffs, resulting in tons of food being thrown away, could be more of a threat to human life than the virus.

Modern medicine has issued absurd directives in failed efforts to control spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.  But will the mindless masses ever catch on?
People wearing face masks while walking alone on the sidewalk or while driving an automobile alone have become examples of mindless stupidity.  With no one within a dozen feet, the ignorant masses wear face masks.
The news media makes it appear face masks are mandatory (by law), but unless some law has been passed in a State legislature, it is only a guideline.

Health authorities now concede that mandated measures to halt the spread of this mutated virus are only to provide peace of mind — face masks are only an anxiety reliever.  Short of mass valium or xanax prescriptions for all, face masks will do.  But just imagine if there is a shortage of face masks?  What will the masses then do?

Disinfection of grocery store carts is also useless.  The CDC issued a belated bulletin the COVID-19 virus is not spread by contact with contaminated surfaces.  Viruses aren’t even alive.  You can’t kill them like you can bacteria.  They only replicate once inside a living cell in your body.

What is required for transmission of the virus from another infected person is very close proximity to facilitate airborne transmission from infected to uninfected lung.  And even then, in healthy people, infection should activate antibodies and memory T-cells to produce long-lasting immunity.  Until this happens, the public is a sitting duck for a virus that often doesn’t produce any symptoms.  Hmmm…

What tips off that modern medicine is pulling the wool over the public’s eyes is that tuberculosis, another lung infection with similar symptoms to COVID-19 coronavirus, is a far greater threat to life, yet modern medicine has never recommended face masks to prevent its spread.  There is a hidden agenda.

There are 13 million potential spreaders of TB walking around America with latent (dormant) TB in their lungs that could erupt and infect others should their immune system crash, like after being indoors in a lockdown and deprived of sunshine vitamin D.

TB infects 2 billion people on the planet and kills 1.3 million a year.  And COVID-19 is far less transmissible than measles, smallpox and polio.  By age group, COVID-19 is only considered lethal in 80+ year olds.

There is no evidence that COVID-19 coronavirus independently kills.  It may just be a by-stander virus.

Countries that have a 90+% rate of mask wearing do not report any significant decline in COVID-19-related deaths.

The public health department goons are everywhere, closing down American businesses to the point of ruination.  Restaurants are where Americans spend birthdays, anniversaries and holidays enjoying American life.  It is no wonder anxiety may develop over time.

It appears any public health directive short of asking the American public to stick their head in the toilet will be complied with.

To his conclusion I say they may even obey that at this point, and I disagree with his description of the mask as a placebo. A placebo is harmless. The mask is not.

I just want the reader to know that I didn't profane the work with splashy colors because I didn't want to muddy up truth the way I feel compelled to point out the ceaseless absurdities in my pre$$.

"Coercively forcing people to wear masks breaks the human bonds of civilization. This is the obvious goal, for it prevents organized resistance. It is impossible to discern facial expressions whether they be friendly or hostile. This is exactly how you destroy society."

That's from a feed I follow that really digs up a lot from a panoply of sites and sources.

Of course, in the Globe the obligatory face mask is “so wonderful.”

Really nothing more to say:

"Do you wear a mask when seeing your friends and family?; The recommendations are clear: wearing a face covering is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but experts say it's important to establish parameters before meeting up so that everyone is on the same page" by Steve Annear Globe Staff, July 7, 2020

So you’ve decided you’re ready to expand your social distancing bubble.

After months of staying indoors and avoiding family — and after some deep thought — you accept an invitation to meet up with one or two close acquaintances at an empty park to reconnect, but at some point, as you sit more than 6 feet away, someone pulls down their mask. You’ve both had little-to-no contact with the outside world, save for some trips to the supermarket, so you’re taken off guard but not turning to run the other way. This is, after all, a person you trust.

So should you show your face, too, so long as you stay far apart on that spacious lawn?

Public health experts say keeping your mask on whenever you can is the safest course of action to protect each other from the spread of COVID-19, but as people begin to enter this next phase of pandemic life, one that includes restaurants reopening and more outdoor activities, they may face a new sort of social pressure — specifically in smaller, private settings with select friends or family.

That person next to you is a mortal threat no matter who it is.

According to a recent Suffolk University poll conducted for several local media outlets, 44 percent of residents marked themselves as being “very strict” when it comes to social distancing, a drop of about 25 percentage points from a similar poll question in May. What’s more, 77 percent of respondents said they would feel comfortable seeing family or close relatives.

Those numbers could be a sign that some residents are a bit more willing to test the waters, now that COVID-19 cases are trending downward in Massachusetts and the state has announced the beginning of its third phase of reopening.

“We’re getting used to this new, ‘I’m going to assess my risk; I’m not going to just live in my house,’ ” Dr. William Sharp, an associate professor of psychology at Northeastern University, said. Sharp said he recommends people establish mask ground rules and parameters prior to setting up any social gatherings, so that everyone is on the same page when meeting face-to-face for the first time in what may feel like ages.

“Talking helps,” said Sharp, who has a private psychoanalytic practice in Brookline. “It’s all that we can really do: state what we really want.”

Freedom. You know, the thing you first described that flies in the face of tyrannical and life-killing lockdowns.

He said that if someone is worried about how much risk they’re willing to tolerate, they could say, “Hey, yes, let’s absolutely meet for that al fresco dinner. I’m going to be wearing a mask and I think it’d be great if we all did. At least you can go into it already knowing,” he said.

Alyssa Bilinski, a PhD student in health policy at Harvard’s graduate school of arts and sciences, has been confronting the coronavirus and mask-wearing both as a researcher and as a self-described “person who wants to have a normalish life.”

When it comes to extending outside of the confines of home, and reconnecting with friends again, Bilinski also stressed the importance of keeping an open dialogue with others, and asserting intentions off the bat.

“We really need to empower people with tools to talk about these kinds of behavioral approaches to COVID-19 and have those conversations in an open way,” she said. “Part of that, as we think about bubbles and things like that, is to make sure that people are really honest with each other and talking about what level of risk the group is taking.”

The 28-year-old Cambridge resident emphasized that while the economy may be slowly reopening — Massachusetts entered Phase 3 Monday — people shouldn’t equate that with ditching precautions. It’s even more important to follow them, she said.

The "reopening" is just as much of a lie and $cam as the crisis!

For her, if a friend’s mask slips below their nose, she’ll broach the subject by saying, “I don’t mean to be annoying but,” or crack a joke to get the point across to keep it on.

“Everything is better with a little bit of humor,” she said. “I try to be really nice about it. Obviously, it’s always a tricky balance.”

I'm glad I'm not her friend!

Dr. Julia Marcus, an infectious disease epidemiologist and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, said new conversations around risk can be done in a way that’s nonjudgmental and nonconfrontational. The result will depend on each person’s level of personal comfort among peers.

“Everyone is going to have a different risk tolerance and I think we are all going to have to adapt to some extent not only to our own risk tolerance, but the tolerance of those around us,” she said. “One thing to remember about masks is, they aren’t just about protecting the person wearing them — they may be even more about protecting the people around them.”

Yeah, go adapt to the damn guilt trip!

"Retailers have a message for state governors: Please make everyone wear a face mask. The Retail Industry Leaders Association, which represents Target, Home Depot, and other major chains, believes that the hodgepodge of rules around the country has created confusion for shoppers and that has lead to conflict between customers and workers trying to enforce store rules. Social media are full of videos capturing clashes between those who are asked to wear masks and employees who are under orders to make sure people wear them. “Retailers are alarmed with the instances of hostility and violence front-line employees are experiencing by a vocal minority of customers,” said association president Brian Dodge. The group asked the National Governors Association this week to require face masks when in public or while shopping. Fewer than half of US states require masks in public places, according to the association. The governors group said Tuesday that its members are discussing the letter and others like it from different retail groups."

"Walmart, nation’s largest retailer, to require customers wear masks" by Michael Corkery New York Times, July 15, 2020

In perhaps the strongest statement yet by a major US company about the importance of masks, Walmart said it would require that all of its customers wear face coverings starting next week.

Boycott Walmart if you can!

The new rule from the nation’s largest retailer, with more than 5,000 stores nationwide, comes as health officials and scientists point to wearing masks as a way to slow the spread of the coronavirus, but Walmart’s new policy, which goes into effect Monday, also means the company is wading into the kind of culturally and politically divisive issue that it has a history of avoiding.

Already, companies like Apple, Best Buy, Costco, and Starbucks require that customers wear masks, but the ubiquity of Walmart stores in parts of the country where masks are unpopular make the giant retailer’s move particularly significant.

“We know some people have differing opinions on this topic,” Walmart said in a blog post Wednesday. “We also recognize the role we can play to help protect the health and well-being of the communities we serve by following the evolving guidance of health officials.”

Shortly after the announcement, the National Retail Federation said it hoped Walmart’s move was a “tipping point in this public health debate” and urged all other retailers to enact the same requirement.

The trade group cited the dangers that the customers who do not wear masks posed to retail workers.

“Workers serving customers should not have to make a critical decision as to whether they should risk exposure to infection or lose their jobs because a minority of people refuse to wear masks in order to help stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus,” the group said in a statement.

Would you be happy if we killed ourselves?

I do, in fact, believe they would.

In states where mask are already required, retail workers have faced heated and even violent confrontations when they remind customers to cover their faces. At a Walmart in Florida this week, a customer accused people who were wearing masks of being members of a “cult.” She was told to leave the store.

The woman was right, and one guy was followed by police and killed, but he was a white man so no one gives a fuck.

At another Walmart in Florida’s Palm Beach County, a man not wearing a mask pulled a gun on a man who was wearing a mask Sunday. The man who brandished the gun is wanted for assault, the sheriff’s department said.

Walmart said that 65 percent of its stores, which include Walmarts and Sam’s Clubs, are in areas where there was already some form of government mandate to wear masks.

At Sam’s Clubs, the company said that it would provide complimentary masks to customers who did not already have one. (Sam’s Club customers pay a membership fee to shop there.)

In Walmart stores — which are far more numerous — the company said it was creating a new job called a “health ambassador.” That person will be stationed next to the front door and will remind customers of the new rule.

“Ambassadors will receive special training to help make the process as smooth as possible for customers,” Walmart said, and “will work with those who show up at a store without a face covering to find a solution that works for everyone.”

That's when I turn around and head back to the parking lot, but you can shop for more if you like:

The retailer did not immediately identify what those possible solutions might be, nor did it say that it would provide masks to customers who did not have one.

Walmart’s enormous reach has reshaped communities nationwide, and in the past it has largely avoided publicly weighing in on any politicized debates. A notable exception came last year when it announced it would stop selling ammunition that can be used in military-style assault rifles and would discourage its customers from openly carrying guns in its stores. It also called on Congress to increase background checks and consider a new assault rifle ban. More recently, the retailer said it would no longer sell merchandise associated with Washington’s professional football team before it changed its name.

Retailers, including Walmart, have been criticized for not providing their employees with masks soon enough into the pandemic, but throughout the crisis, retailers had been receiving mixed messages from health and government officials about the effectiveness of masks. Many stores have been requiring that their employees wear masks since April and May, but health researchers say the protective coverings are most effective when everyone inside an enclosed space is wearing them. The nation’s business community has been pushing for mandatory masks for weeks and has grown frustrated with the lack of a governmental response.

The National Retail Federation, along with the Chamber of Commerce, lobbied the Trump administration and governors around the country for a national mask standard in a letter two weeks ago. The groups asked not only for a national standard for when masks should be worn but also for legal protections for businesses that refuse to serve customers who will not wear masks. “Retailers are protecting the health and safety of communities they serve,” the retail trade group said. “Our elected leaders need to set politics aside and follow their example.”

"A man was arrested for pulling a gun on a man who was not wearing a face mask at a Walgreens in Bridgewater Friday evening, officials said. Officers were called to the Walgreens at 4 Central Square around 5:20 p.m., Bridgewater Police said in a statement. The Walgreens’ manager told police that two men inside the store, later identified as Todd Goulston, 59, of East Bridgewater, and a 30-year-old Abington man, were arguing about one of them not wearing a face mask, officials said. Goulston allegedly pulled a gun on the Abington man, who had not been wearing a mask while inside the Walgreens, after the argument had moved into the store’s parking lot, police said. Goulston then left the scene in his vehicle, police said. The Abington man was not injured. Police identified Goulston and arrested him at his home a short time later with assistance from the East Bridgewater Police Department, authorities said. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace. Police said they seized multiple firearms from Goulston’s home that he was licensed to carry. Goulston complained about a medical issue after he was in police custody and was taken to a local hospital, officials said."

Speaking of $cofflaws:

"Damage related to looting cost Walgreens at least $75 million, offering a look at the cost of US unrest for one of the nation’s largest retailers. Store closures during protests also hurt sales, the company said. Demonstrations, most of which were peaceful, surged across the United States in May following the killing of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis. Some were accompanied by looting."

"Days after reopening two theme parks amid a spike in coronavirus cases in Florida, Walt Disney World on Wednesday welcomed back visitors to two more theme parks that had been shuttered since March because of the new coronavirus. The Florida theme park resort reopened Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, completing a rolling opening of Disney World’s theme parks that started last weekend with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom welcoming back visitors. The number of visitors being allowed in has been capped to allow for social distancing. All visitors and employees must wear masks and get their temperature checked upon entering. Disney is requiring reservations, and Disney employees won’t be allowed to take photos of visitors in front of Cinderella’s Castle since it involves touching the tourists’ cameras. There will be no live shows at Disney World since the reopening has caused a labor dispute between Disney and its actors and singers. The union that represents Disney World actors and singers has filed a grievance against Disney, saying their members faced retaliation for demanding coronavirus tests. The actors and singers initially were called back to work, but that invitation was rescinded after the union made public their concerns about the lack of testing for the actors and singers who can’t wear masks while performing, according to Actors’ Equity Association."

They should never have opened, and Florida's coronavirus cases surpassed 301,000 as the head of Miami health system said the spike in infections is due to 'aggressive non-compliant people' who refuse to wear masks and as our illustrious governor claims they are our most important tool against the virus.

"Georgia’s 26 public universities and colleges will mandate campuswide mask wearing after the state university system reversed itself on Monday. The University System of Georgia had previously told schools they should “strongly encourage” students and others to wear masks, but said that the system’s 26 universities couldn’t mandate face coverings for their 330,000 students. Masks became a central point of contention in part because all the universities, at the behest of regents, are planning face-to-face instruction for all students beginning in August. Faculty and employees have increasingly been demanding that their institutions mandate masks to slow virus transmission, signing letters and petitions. Administrators on Monday evening agreed."

The governor of Georgia voided the mask orders in the 15 localities, but then the mayor of Atlanta opened her big mouth and went beyond him.

"Federal authorities say a man living in Lynn allegedly sexually abused teenage boys while he was a teacher in Laos in recent years, according to a statement released Wednesday by U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts. Michael Sebastian, 52, faces charges of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign place and sex trafficking of children, the statement said. He was detained pending a detention and probable cause hearing set for Monday. Authorities say Sebastian was living in Lynn with his mother when he was arrested Tuesday. Sebastian was living in Laos and teaching English to Laotian children, according to the statement. For at least the last two years, Sebastian allegedly allowed at least three boys, ages 13-18, to live with him. Instead of paying him rent, Sebastian let the boys perform chores, which included giving him massages and performing sex acts on him, prosecutors said. Sebastian made an initial appearance in federal court in Boston on Wednesday and was detained pending a detention and probably cause hearing set for Monday. He faces up to 30 years in prison, five years supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000 for the charge of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places. The charge of sex trafficking of children carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years to life in prison, five years supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000. The case was brought as part of the Project Safe Childhood initiative, launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice to “combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse,” the statement said."

Time to get out of the country:

"Amid pervasive backsliding on social distancing, Britain and France are weighing whether to require people to wear masks in public places. Scientists say the two countries’ governments should have done so ever since they started easing lockdowns — like many other European nations did – instead of exposing their populations to the risk of infections from mass dance parties and summer vacationers who think there’s no longer anything to worry about. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged UK residents Monday to wear face coverings in shops and other tight indoor spaces — but stopped short of making it compulsory. Critics have accused Johnson’s government of failing to provide clarity on mask-wearing in the days since he began backtracking on its previous advice that suggested face covers were not necessary. Meanwhile, France’s government said Monday it’s considering requiring masks in all indoor public places amid signs of a small rise in confirmed virus cases – and a big drop in public vigilance. Local mayors have already started requiring masks, notably in the Mediterranean city of Nice, where images of thousands of people dancing at an outdoor DJ performance this weekend provoked nationwide concern."

They may be right; word is the latest model coming from England shows they have achieved herd immunity!

Nevertheless.....

"People in England will be required to wear masks inside shops and supermarkets, the government of Prime Minister Boris Johnson of Britain announced Tuesday, ending months of equivocation over mandating face coverings to stop the spread of the virus. Many scientists found the dithering over face coverings in England mystifying — and uneasily reminiscent of delays in imposing a lockdown in March. The hesitation cost thousands of lives and has left Britain with one of the highest death rates in the world from the virus. More than 50,000 people in Britain have died from the virus, and Johnson’s government has faced intense criticism for its sometimes laissez-faire approach to public health measures, an attitude that was evident in its reluctance to make face coverings compulsory. The reversal is set to take effect a week from Friday. In mandating face masks, England followed the path of other European countries, like Germany and Italy, and of Scotland, which is part of Britain but sets its own health policy."

"France says ‘merci’ to virus heroes on poignant Bastille Day" by Angela Charlton and Arno Pedram Associated Press, July 14, 2020

PARIS — Medics in white coats replaced uniformed soldiers as stars of France’s Bastille Day ceremonies Tuesday, as the usual grandiose military parade in Paris was recalibrated to honor medics who died fighting COVID-19, supermarket cashiers, postal workers, and other heroes of the pandemic, yet for thousands of participants in a protest across town, the national homage wasn’t nearly enough to make up for missteps by French President Emmanuel Macron and his government before and during the coronavirus pandemic. Riot police sprayed tear gas, and unruly demonstrators hurled smoke bombs as the largely peaceful demonstrators marched to Bastille plaza, where the French Revolution was born on July 14, 1789.

The contrasting scenes marked a Bastille Day unlike any other, overshadowed by fears of resurgent infections in a country where more than 30,000 people have already lost their lives to the coronavirus.

With tears in their eyes or smiles on their faces, medical workers stood silently as lengthy applause in their honor rang out over the Place de la Concorde in central Paris from Macron, the head of the World Health Organization, and 2,000 other guests. A military choir sang the Marseillaise national anthem, and troops unfurled an enormous French tricolor flag across the plaza.

For doing their job?

This is meant to keep them quiet and not blow whistles.

The battle against the virus was the main focus, as Macron sought to highlight France’s successes in combating its worst crisis since World War II. Mirage and Rafale fighter jets painted the sky with blue-white-and-red smoke, and were joined by helicopters that had transported COVID-19 patients in distress.

So much for climate worries, whoooooosh!

The guests included nurses, doctors, supermarket and nursing home workers, mask makers, lab technicians, undertakers, and others who kept France going during its lockdown. Families of medical workers who died with the virus also had a place in the stands.

I hope none of them have been laid off like here.

In eastern Paris, meanwhile, medical workers’ unions marched to decry years of cost cuts that left public hospitals ill-prepared when the virus raced across France. Other protesters chanted slogans against police violence, spoke out against racial injustice, or against Macron policies seen as favoring the wealthy, or against his decision to appoint a man accused of rape to oversee police forces. Some protesters wore yellow vests, representing their movement against economic injustice — or face masks in the same neon shade.

In a television interview, Macron addressed the anger his presidency has unleashed, acknowledging “mistakes” in managing the pandemic and in pushing through business-friendly reforms.

He noted a new 8-billion-euro investment and hiring plan signed this week for hospitals, but warned of “massive” unemployment and other economic problems still to come after months of virus lockdown.....

Time to roll out the guillotine and.....

You have to admit, it is a lot more cost-effective.

Get him to the hospital, stat:

"Researchers on Tuesday reported strong evidence that the coronavirus can be transmitted from a pregnant woman to a fetus. A baby born in a Paris hospital in March to a mother with COVID-19 tested positive for the virus and developed symptoms of inflammation in his brain, said Dr. Daniele De Luca, who led the research team at Paris-Saclay University Hospitals. The baby, now more than 3 months old, recovered without treatment and is “very much improved, almost clinically normal,” De Luca said, adding that the mother, who needed oxygen during the delivery, is healthy. De Luca said the virus appeared to have been transmitted through the placenta of the 23-year-old mother. Since the pandemic began, there have been isolated cases of newborns who have tested positive for the coronavirus, but there has not been enough evidence to rule out the possibility that the infants became infected by the mother after they were born, specialists said. A recently published case in Texas, of a newborn who tested positive for COVID-19 and had respiratory symptoms, provided more convincing evidence that transmission of the virus during pregnancy can occur. In the Paris case, De Luca said, the team was able to test the placenta, amniotic fluid, cord blood, and the mother’s and baby’s blood. The testing indicated “the virus reaches the placenta and replicates there,” De Luca said. It can then be transmitted to a fetus, which “can get infected and have symptoms similar to adult COVID-19 patients.” A study of the case was published on Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications."

Who would have thought the French would be fibbers (pregnancy provides protection, people), as they get us ready for 5G

Are they sure it's not the Japanese virus that magically disappeared?

Better keep heading south and cross the border:

"Authorities in Spain’s Balearic Islands ordered the closure Wednesday of bars and nightclubs in beachfront areas popular with young and foreign visitors, pulling the plug on endless drunken nights to the beat of techno music. Arguing the need to stop the spread of the coronavirus, regional authorities issued the order for all establishments along Mallorca’s “Beer St.” and “Ham St.,” as the popular party areas near the beach of Palma de Mallorca are known, and another boulevard in nearby Magaluf. The region’s tourism minister, Iago Negueruela, said the Mediterranean archipelago also wants to shake off its reputation as a wild party destination. “We don’t want uncivil tourists in our islands, we don’t want them to come,” Negueruela said at a press conference, announcing that the establishments should close as of Thursday until further notice. Scenes of boozy Mallorca visitors ignoring social-distancing rules and going without face masks went viral on social media in recent weeks and made headlines in Germany and Britain, home to many of the tourists that Mediterranean islands typically court."

Spain has always trended fa$ci$t like France:

"Spain paid tribute Thursday to the nation’s victims of the coronavirus and workers who put their lives at risk during the worst of the pandemic with a solemn state ceremony in Madrid. Relatives of around 100 people who died during the pandemic, representatives of medical personnel, police, and other essential workers joined King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, government members, and officials from the European Union and the World Health Organization at an esplanade in Madrid’s Royal Palace. The guests, masked and seated in a socially distanced fashion surrounding a central cauldron, included representatives from a dozen religious organizations and ambassadors. The ceremony was shown live on television and online."

How f**king creepy!

Should have turned left:

"Wearing obligatory masks amid a resurgence of the coronavirus, North Macedonians voted Wednesday in a national election delayed for months due to the pandemic, with officials saying participation was lower than in previous voting. Polling stations closed later to encourage turnout, and authorities also organized two days of advance voting to allow people in quarantine or at greater risk from the virus to cast their ballots from home. North Macedonia, a former Yugoslav republic with a population of around 2 million, reported more than 8,500 confirmed cases, including 393 deaths, as of Wednesday, with 198 new cases and four deaths reported over the previous 24 hours. Election authorities said turnout had reached 50.8 percent half an hour before polls closed, which is lower than in previous elections."

For my part, it is driving me crazy seeing my fellow citizens harming themselves at the behest of p$ychopathic and genocidal mon$ters. It's bad enough I have to don one to shop for food, but as soon as I am outside and in the fresh air, it's off (violently).

Then there are the ding-dongs wearing it in the car, wearing it while walking, wearing it while exercising. There was a glimmer of hope this morning when one guy at the convenience store wasn't wearing a mask. I felt bad for looking at him like he was an oddity, but then again, he is. Wanted to applaud him.

Beyond that, I have been unable to get through to relatives who have now developed problems due to cancelled care because of COVID and depriving themselves of oxygen via a mask. The fact that "health experts" and "governmental authorities" are promoting the insane monstrosity proves COVID isn't about protecting our health. It's about vastly more, an evil that remains masked to many who, if they do see, choose to mask their eyes to it.

Was feeling good the other day about the way things were headed, but not so much today. I can't mask the fact that the return to barbarism and enslavement so some sick f**ks can get their jollies lording their $ickne$$ upon us bothers me. The mask is a symbol of submission to unimaginably evil monsters.
