The End of Modernity

"The End of Modernity" by , July 8, 2020

The other day I was in line (social distancing) to receive communion. There was a baby in a carriage looking up at me but with no emotion whatsoever. As I smiled there was no reaction, only a blank stare. I was wearing a mask. I then turned to see that its mother was also wearing a mask. What kind of children will be raised in a masked society?

Many people in my internet world now see with alarm a new level of population control. Peter HitchensC.J. Hopkins, the Bionic Mosquito, are worth reading; and this one by Gareth Roberts comparing our new world order to the Village from the Patrick McGoohan series the Prisoner is I think especially accurate in the type of horror (with a smile) society is becoming.

I feel like I am participating in a kind of giant Milgram experiment where the population of the world (at least the developed world) is being socialized into unthinking, fear inspired obedience. Terrorism, financial collapse, epidemics and biosecurity, and cultural revolution are all top down events aimed at creating a docile, obedient population. It is clear that to the powers that be, all human relationships, simple pleasures, social and psychological needs are expendable. All individual humans are expendable. It is telling that the elite has politically dropped the working class in favor of extreme environmentalism and immigration. Human labor (at least in the developed world) is no longer seen as being essential.  As James Corbett has documented, the achieved goal is population control.

The Renaissance was the transition from a culture centered on Christianity (the age of faith as exemplified by Chartres Cathedral) to the human centered modern culture (the age of human individuality as exemplified by Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man). This was the age of modernity, but modernity is now over; the dystopian present is a postmodern, post-human world as exemplified by the robot Sophia. As our human individuality will be covered by a mask, our every move and purchase will be noted and approved by an electronic system of control, our very DNA will be at the mercy of mandatory vaccines.

In these troubling times I fear for my family. I find it very difficult to discuss these fears with my wife who is French and a journalist so sees the world through very different lenses than me. I recently met a group of friends, all graduates from the elite French university Science Po, on a lovely evening at an outdoor bar along the Seine. A very nice and intelligent gentleman I was speaking with did not wear a mask, but had total belief in the virus and the government. I tried to present a different point of view though I doubt that I was convincing.

In these desperate times, I feel the two actions that are essential are to take courage and to pray.

"In An Insane World, Madness Looks Moderate And Sanity Looks Radical" by Caitlin Johnstone,  July 8, 2020

There are no moderate, mainstream centrists in the US-centralized empire. They do not exist.

It’s not that moderate, mainstream centrism is an inherently impossible position. In a healthy world, that’s exactly what the predominant worldview would be. But we do not live in a healthy world.
There are no moderate, mainstream centrists anywhere in the tight alliance of nations which function as a single empire on foreign policy, because that functional empire is built upon murder, terrorism, exploitation, oppression, ecocide and the stockpiling of armageddon weapons.

People who support the status quo of this empire are called “moderates”, but, just like the so-called “moderate rebels” of Syria, they are in fact violent extremists.

This is the reality of living in a world that is profoundly psychologically unhealthy. If you make a career out of facilitating wars which cause explosives to be dropped from the sky on top of innocent human beings causing their bodies to be ripped to shreds and buried in rubble, then you are treated as an exemplar of ideal leadership and rewarded with prestigious positions in politics, punditry, book publishing and think tankery. If you oppose those same wars, you are marginalized and smeared as at best an extremist whack job and at worst a literal traitor conducting psyops for a foreign government.

Because the plutocratic class owns the political class which advances depraved plutocratic agendas and the media class which normalizes and justifies those agendas, a mainstream consensus has been forcibly manufactured that maintaining the oppressive, exploitative, omnicidal, ecocidal status quo is a good and sane thing to do. Voices which point out that this is bat shit crazy are marginalized and ignored when possible and smeared and demonized when necessary.

The ability of our plutocratic rulers and their lackeys to do this is the only reason why defenders of the status quo get to call themselves “centrists” and “moderates”. It’s not because their position is middle-of-the-road in any way whatsoever, it’s because they stand in alignment with the consensus that has been deliberately artificially manufactured and shoved into the mainstream by sheer force of narrative control.

This consensus manufacturing is then carried home by a glitch in human cognition known as status quo bias, which causes us to tend toward holding to the familiar as a default preference and perceive the risk of losing what we have as far less favorable than the reward gaining something better. Psychology Today explains:
Research from Kahneman and Tversky suggests that losses are twice as psychologically harmful as gains are beneficial. In other words, individuals feel twice as much psychological pain from losing $100 as pleasure from gaining $100. One interpretation is that in order for an individual to change course from their current state of affairs is that the alternative must be perceived as twice as beneficial. This highlights the challenges we may face when considering a change to our usual way of doing things.
When military members are considering their choices as their contract comes to an end, many consider re-enlisting simply because they are unaware of the many opportunities that exist for them. Even when we understand our current path is no longer beneficial or no longer makes us happy, we must still overcome the natural urge to stay on the path unless the alternative is sufficiently attractive. In order for us to readily pursue an alternate path, we must believe that the alternative is clearly superior to the current state of affairs.
The status quo effect is pervasive in both inconsequential and major decisions. Oftentimes we are held back by what we believe to be the safe option, simply because it is the default. Bearing in mind our natural propensity for the status quo will enable us to recognize the allure of inertia and more effectively overcome it.
Status quo bias is further exacerbated in our current predicament by the fact that so many people are now so close to the brink of financial ruin and so terrified of what can happen to them if things change in a sudden and unpredictable way. The result of this is that now you’ve got the majority of people in the most dominant country on earth supporting the “slow incremental change” philosophy of so-called centrism, which in practice has always ended up meaning no change whatsoever. Meanwhile our ecosystem is dying and the US is escalating nuclear tensions with Russia and China and everyone’s getting more and more crazy and miserable under the oppressive and exploitative status quo.....

"The Mask is the Mark of the Beast in Larval Form" by Dylan Charles, Editor Waking Times, July 8, 2020

NOTE TO FACT CHECKERS: This is an editorial piece. It is my personal opinion. Nothing in the following collection of words can cause physical harm to anyone, nor can any of it be taken as offensive or be considered hate speech by any rational person. As a sovereign being I am entitled to express the thoughts in my head without censorship, punishment, reprisal, or threats against my livelihood. Please respect my right to free speech and self-expression, and respect the rights of those who wish to read this. This is not fake news. It is not misinformation. It is not dangerous, and it certainly is not racist. It is merely one man’s opinion expressed in editorial form. So please, whoever has ears, let them hear.

Let’s just for a moment suspend all disbelief in the official Covid-19 narrative. Let’s set aside questions about mortality rates, death certificate designationscontroversy over treatments and testing procedures, and politics.

Instead, I want to zoom out a bit and do some traveling back and forth in time in order to bring your attention to the progression of something critically important to all free human beings on this planet.

There’s a great divergence taking place, dividing our country and perhaps the entire world. To most, this was all unexpected. A big surprise. To others, this has been a long time coming, but through the fog of confusion around us, one thing is crystal clear to those of us who’ve been watching, warning and waiting for a long time: we are on a stepping stone toward a very dystopian future where personal sovereignty and privacy will become historical ideas unfitting for such a brave new world.

I am not a religious man, but I do come from a Christian culture, and of particular note today is a chapter in the Bible that strikes abject fear into the hearts of believers. Revelation 13, particularly the following sentence which refers to The Beast coming out of the earth:
“It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.” ~Revelation 13
For nearly two-thousand years, believers have been looking for signs of this prophecy coming to fruition, and the term ‘The Mark of the Beast,’ is now firmly entrenched in our cultural lexicon. Kanye West used it today in reference to a Covid vaccineLouis Farrakhan was preaching about it over a decade ago. So called conspiracy theorists have for decades been looking at institutional documents and central planning agendas, warning that a global government was being organized to conquer the planet and enslave us all with the boot of technology.

It has gained social capital for its implied meaning that someday free people will be subjected to an authoritarian control system which treats human beings like livestock to be ID’d, tracked, traced, controlled, milked and slaughtered when the time is right.

And shouldn’t an idea like this stoke fear in the hearts of the free and the independent? After all, it implies an end to free will and an end to self-determination. It implies total, hopeless, global slavery.

Now here we are today. Covid face masks.

Someone recently said to me that the masks are the mark of the beast in larval form, and this, to me, seems a fair metaphor. A larva is the juvenile form that many animals and insects take before maturing into an adult. Often, the appearance of an animal in larval form is quite different from the mature animal.

In a matter of a few short months we we’ve gone from business-as-usual to cover up your face or you can’t buy groceries. We don’t exactly understand or agree on the precise nature of the threat, but in the blink of an eye we’ve gone from masks being suggested, to masks being recommended, to masks being mandated in some locales, to masks being mandated in all locales, and with New Jersey leading the way, masks are now being mandated outdoors in public spaces, all of this enforceable by law (which is punishable by fines and the risk of arrest), and by exclusion from the economy.

All the while, we are watching the experts on television nonchalantly inform us that our future  participation in the economy and in society at large will be dependent on our acquiescence to whatever new rules and mandates they throw at us. That we will be surveilled, monitored, vaccinated, and contact traced everywhere we go, and that in order to buy or sell, worship, go to school or gather, we will have to show proof of submission to the system’s demands.

In 2014, Australian writer Steven Tritton warned us that we had already crossed the Rubicon into this future, but that in order to go all the way we needed only the right crisis to catalyze public opinion in favor of such measures.
“Perhaps in the midst of such turmoil or following a worldwide economic meltdown, comes a momentous shift to a cashless society with an embedded device compulsory for every individual to participate in the new global financial order. However, the newly hatched revolutionary system will be one that ensnares humanity in a totalitarian global surveillance society unlike the modern world has ever seen given such advanced technology in place. We have already crossed the Rubicon.” ~Steven Tritton in 2014
In 2012 we published an article quoting the father of a San Antonio high school girl who was objecting to the school’s requirement that all students wear RFID (radio frequency identification) badges to track student’s whereabouts in an effort to reduce tardiness and truancy. He called the badges, ‘the mark of the beast,’ and they certainly were an ample introduction to the emergent technology that will become what many fear is the real mark.

But people aren’t stupid. They’re frightful, but not stupid. So, for the beast to make inroads on the effort to track and trace everyone, the progression needs to be incremental, touching on key points of fear along the way, always increasing the intensity of the crisis so as to allow the proverbial frog in the pot to boil before he becomes aware of his imminent doom. In order for people to accept compulsory measures like these they have to be deceived into believing that their life depends on it.

People don’t seem to fully comprehend what is being given away in this desperate hour, but without a doubt, they will feel it, and long to have it back, in the coming dystopian future.

My sense is that we are losing something exclusively human. That the masks actually alter the way we view each other, and that they shift our perception of others away from trust. Where once we saw smiles and community, now we see furrowed brows, concern and hazard. I feel we are jumping headlong into the dark abyss of fear, giving power and precedence to the inner authoritarian, and that as we forfeit bits of self integrity to go along to get along, we become envious and agitated with those who wish not to comply.
“I contend that there is something hugely meaningful about humanity, something virtual reality can never match, something artificial intelligence can never be programmed with. Words such as conscience, compassion, warmth, kindness, generosity, spontaneity, imagination, inspiration and creativity, give some hint as to what this something might be.” ~Nigel Kerner
So for today, it’s required masks. Tomorrow will see legally mandated contact tracing apps on your phone. Then required immunity certificates and special health passports. Then on to some more permanent form of traceable, wearable tech like a tattoo or an implant.

Call it what you want, but if you want to feed your family today, you’d better mask up. And if you are reading this beyond 2020, I hope that time has proven me wrong and that we have somehow collectively managed to squash this wicked bug before it evolves into its full form.....

"The Biggest Global Hoax In History" by Chuck Baldwin, July 9, 2020

I’ll say it straight out: The propaganda about COVID-1984 is the biggest global hoax in history. Corona poses zero threat to 99.9% of the population. Masks are a joke. Social distancing is a joke. Business closures are a joke. Church closures are a joke. Theater closures are a joke. Sporting event cancellations are a joke. All of the corona-based television commercials are a joke. All of the fearmongering by radio disc jockeys and television news broadcasters is a joke. All of the theatrical grandstanding by politicians on Capitol Hill is a joke.

Of course, by joke, I don’t mean funny (it would be funny if it wasn’t so deadly serious). I mean stupid, idiotic, moronic, asinine, senseless, imbecilic, dumb, etc. Then again, what it really shows is the pure evil and wickedness of the people fomenting all of this fear and the crass gullibility and slavish spirit of a sizable percentage of the American population.

The one lesson we have learned from the corona hoax is that virtually everything BIG is in bed with the forces of global tyranny. I’m talking about big business, big media, big medicine, big pharma, big entertainment, big industry, big technology, big politics, big government and big religion. It’s all controlled by the forces of global tyranny.

The corona scare has absolutely nothing to do with health and safety and everything to do with money, politics and power. And almost everybody wants in on the action. And almost no one gives a tinker’s dam about Liberty.

I have already documented in this column how hospitals and medical professionals are being paid to NOT treat people; how they are being paid to keep hospitals empty; how they are being paid to fabricate and exaggerate corona cases and deaths; and how they are being paid to go along with the phony CDC narrative.

But what is most disconcerting (at least to me) is the way pastors and churches grovel before these tyrants. For years, I have tried to warn Christians about the evils of the 501(c)(3) non-profit government churches

In order to stay on the smiley side of the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3), churches have sold their spiritual birthright and Bible convictions. They are happy to crawl on the floor and eat the crumbs that fall from the king’s table, like dogs on a chain.

Do you want to know why so many of these government “churches” are STILL closed? I’ll tell you why: They are being paid by the government to stay closed. That’s why.

Megachurches and other religious organizations with ties to vocal supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump were approved for millions of dollars in forgivable loans from a taxpayer-funded pandemic aid bailout, according to long-awaited government data released this week.

Among those approved for loans through the massive government relief program were a Dallas megachurch whose pastor has been an outspoken ally of the president; a Florida church tied to Trump spiritual adviser and "prosperity gospel" leader Paula White; and a Christian-focused nonprofit where Jay Sekulow, the lawyer who defended the president during his impeachment, is chief counsel.

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at a rally last month at the First Baptist Church of Dallas, whose pastor, Robert Jeffress, has been on Trump's evangelical advisory board. The church was approved for a $2-5 million loan, the data showed.

Launched on April 3, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) allows small businesses, nonprofits and individuals hurt by the pandemic to apply for forgivable government-backed loans. Some say allowing religious institutions to qualify for loan forgiveness highlights a breakdown in the American tradition of a strict separation of church and state.

"The notion of separation of church and state is dead, and the PPP loan program is the evidence of that," said Micah Schwartzman, a professor at the University of Virginia School of Law. "The money is going to fund core activities of many organizations, including religious organizations. That's something we’ve not seen before."

The list of religious organizations approved for about 88,400 small business loans also included Faith and Freedom Coalition Inc in Georgia, which qualified for a $150,000-$350,000 loan. The evangelical group's founder and chairman Ralph Reed praised Trump for his photo-op at a church nearby the White House after authorities hurled tear gas and shot rubber bullets at protesters.

Cross Church of Arkansas, whose pastor emeritus has been a member of Trump's evangelical advisory board, received a $1.8 million loan and will seek loan forgiveness if the requirements are met, a spokesman told Reuters.

The American Center for Law and Justice Inc, a nonprofit founded by televangelist Pat Robertson and also known as Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism Inc., was approved for a $1-2 million loan. Sekulow is listed as chief counsel on the organization's website.

City of Destiny Inc. of Florida, where, White, Trump's spiritual adviser, is listed as an oversight pastor, was approved for a loan of $150,000-$350,000, the data showed. (Source)

Of course, it’s not just conservative Republican-leaning churches that are cashing in on the corona hoax; so are liberal Democrat-leaning congregations. See this report.

Direct taxpayer support for churches (something anathema to America’s Founding Fathers and our U.S. Constitution) started in earnest under the corrupt presidency of George W. Bush and his “Faith-Based” initiatives. Under Donald Trump, these putrid, pernicious, pathetic and perverse programs are in full bloom.

Thomas Jefferson rightly noted, "To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical." Amen!

My tax dollars go to fight foreign wars that I abhor, to foreign governments that I abhor and to left-wing organizations that I abhor. And, likewise, I abhor my tax dollars going to fund the Trump-fawning, Zionist-controlled, statist “ministries” of Paula White, Robert Jeffress, Pat Robertson, Jay Sekulow, Ralph Reed and thousands like them. I don’t ask for any of their tax dollars to support my ministerial work, and I sure don’t appreciate being forced to give my tax dollars to support theirs.

While on the subject of war, I guess you saw that the U.S. Senate just voted to continue the never-ending war in Afghanistan and the global “war on terror” by a vote of 60 to 33, with 7 abstentions. Only 4 Republican senators voted to end the wars. (The Republican Party has been a War Party ever since Abraham Lincoln launched his ungodly and unnecessary war against the South.)

And I’m happy to report that both of our senators from Montana (one a Republican and the other a Democrat) voted to STOP the wars. How did your senators vote?

Furthermore, since I mentioned Zionism, here is a report that you absolutely must read on how the Zionist military/intelligence/surveillance apparatus is partnering with the State of Rhode Island and healthcare providers (with several others soon to follow) in developing and implementing advanced surveillance, tracking and profiling of Americans—all in the name of “protecting” us from corona.

A company tied to Israel’s military signal intelligence unit, Unit 8200, has recently partnered with the state of Rhode Island to use an artificial intelligence-based system developed in tandem with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to profile Americans potentially infected and/or “at risk” of being infected with coronavirus, then informing government authorities of their “risk profile.” Once flagged, state health officials can target those individuals as well as their communities for mandatory testing, treatment and/or more restrictive lockdown measures.

The firm, Israel-based Diagnostic Robotics, is poised to announce a series of new such partnerships with several other U.S. states as well as major U.S. hospital systems and healthcare providers in the coming weeks, according to a company spokesperson. The first of these announcements came on June 30 regarding the firm’s new partnership with Mayo Clinic, which will soon implement the Diagnostic Robotics’ “artificial intelligence platform that predicts patients’ hospitalization risk.” They have also been in discussions with Vice President Mike Pence about the platform’s implementation nationwide since April.

Their creeping expansion into the U.S.’ state coronavirus response and that of other countries has been directly facilitated by the organization Start-Up Nation Central, funded by controversial hedge fund manager Paul Singer and directly partnered with an Israeli government-backed intelligence initiative aimed at making the United States dependent on technology developed by the Israeli military or intelligence community as a means of preventing the adoption of policies that support the non-violent Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement at the state and local levels. This initiative also serves the dual purpose of ensuring Israel’s political influence and positioning as the global “cyber power,” an oft-repeated policy goal of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (Source)

You can bet that this is the precursor for mandatory vaccinations, with which Donald Trump is totally on board. Anyone who believes that Trump will stand in the way of forced vaccinations is delusional.

And if you don’t think vaccinations are dangerous, read this in-depth study that shows vaccinated children have a 470% higher rate of autism than non-vaccinated children.

But you can bet your life that the CDC/Fauci/Gates corona vaccine will be the most dangerous and destructive drug ever injected into the human body by a physician. Only the drugs that are used to murder unborn babies could be categorized as more destructive (and the drugs administered to death row inmates, of course).

As I said, the corona propaganda is the biggest global hoax in history. The totalitarians believe they can use the coronavirus to finally implement their plans of global oppression and control.

There is one positive in all of this: It has produced a great winnowing process. More than anything in my lifetime, this is separating the lifeless chaff of statist slaves from the genuine wheat of Liberty-loving patriots.

Now, we can all clearly see that the great divide is NOT race or political parties or religious denominations or Christians v. secularists or liberals v. conservatives; it is freedomists v. statists.

It’s good to finally get a clear picture of who is standing where.

"..... We are living in the age of the mass media. It is an age in which new rules apply. No longer is it necessary, in order to control a nation, for a ruling clique to have a monopoly on the capital assets and the firepower of that nation. These days control is exercised more subtly, but all the more surely, by manipulating the thoughts and the opinions of the populace. Universal literacy, which makes every American a newspaper reader, and unprecedented prosperity, which has put a TV receiver in every home, insure that the control will be all-pervasive. There is only one way to fight it, and that is to understand what it is and who exercises it – and then to go after them tooth and nail..... -- Dr. William Luther Pierce

"Farewell…For Now" by Michael Krieger,
Remember: Matter. How tiny your share of it.
Time. How brief and fleeting your allotment of it.
Fate. How small a role you play in it.

– Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

For the past ten years, I’ve spent most of my waking hours learning how the systems we live under function and how wealth and power operate and consolidate in the U.S. as well as globally. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve shared a lot. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would.

I dedicated all that time and energy to writing and engaging on the big issues of our era for two main reasons. First, I felt there was a window of opportunity to turn the ship around and reform the system to avoid needless additional widespread suffering and upheaval, which to me was guaranteed given the destructive path to which our ruling class was obstinately committed. Second, my decade on Wall Street offered some valuable insight into the inner workings of financial feudalism and how it systematically and intentionally enriches certain small segments of the populace while enslaving the masses via perpetual colossal debt issuance coupled with reoccurring central bank bailouts for the creditor and financial asset speculator class. This wasn’t widely appreciated when I first started writing about it, so it became a personal mission to inform as many people as possible.

For a decade straight, I wrote incessantly about oligarchy, empire, endless war, an erosion of civil liberties, Wall Street criminality, unaccountable central bank power and much more. I figured if enough people understood how real power functions we could rein in its perniciousness. Sometimes I got it right, sometimes I got it wrong, but I always put forth my best effort. I’m proud of the work I did and the overall mission, but the unfortunate truth is it didn’t have the impact I had hoped for. Although I certainly helped and inspired people along the way, the macro situation we find ourselves in today is even more unstable and dangerous than it was a decade ago.

Despite fleeting moments of awareness when it appeared large numbers were waking up to how the ruling class actually rules, such waves of inspired energy were almost always quickly repurposed and redirected by mass media, dishonest pundits and others into typical red/blue manufactured political squabbles generally centered around the “culture war.” The imperial oligarchy wants us fighting amongst each other about race, geography, abortion, gendered bathrooms, sports team names, two hundred year old statues, or any other similar issue they don’t really care about.

As long as we’re fighting about that stuff instead of focusing on their wealth, power and criminality, they win. I’ve seen this sort of thing happen countless times over the past decade, and the general public seems to fall for it every time. If mass media wants to distract or make some ridiculous narrative the center of our attention, it’s a trivial task provided it triggers the culture war hysteria switch embedded in so many across the ideological spectrum.

After watching the first half of 2020 play out, I’ve finally seen enough. I’ve concluded and admitted to myself that the general public is simply unwilling or unable to put aside petty differences to unite and effectively challenge the ruling class on the really big issues of the day. If it didn’t happen this year, it’s not going to — or more accurately — time has probably run out at this point for grassroots movements to coalesce and force this decadent and destructive paradigm to fundamentally transform. Rather, it seems far more likely that the social and economic fabric we live under will simply collapse under the weight of its own corruption, depravity, violence and sociopathic greed before “the people” at a national level do anything particularly productive.

As such, continuing to write articles about what’s happening and how power, empire and oligarchy function has started to feel pointless. I feel like I’ve said nearly everything I wanted to say on these subjects and I’d just be repeating myself by carrying on. I’m simply not inspired to keep engaging and creating content in the same way, so I’m not going to.....
