Another Sunday, and this time I'm feeling grateful even if despise the game.
At least I'm still here to see it.
"Fan at Gillette taken away in ambulance
Emergency staff performed CPR on a fan at the Gillette Stadium field before yesterday’s game between the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals. The man was then transported in an ambulance to receive care. Patriots spokesman Stacey James said he was taken to a hospital. No further information was available last night (AP)."
"Father who had heart attack at game dies
A 40-year-old Chicopee man died Sunday after suffering a massive heart attack in the stands of Gillette Stadium before the game between the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals, fire officials said yesterday. The man was attending the first game of the Patriots’ 2010 season with his 6-year-old son, and was sitting near the south end zone close to the field when he was stricken about half an hour before kickoff, Foxborough Fire Chief Roger Hatfield said. The man was rushed to Caritas Norwood Hospital, where he died, Hatfield said. Public safety officials watched the man’s son while the father was taken to the hospital, and the boy was later reunited with his mother and sister, Hatfield said. Hatfield said the man’s name was withheld because of medical privacy laws.

How horrifying for the kid.
I would never want to go to another football game again.
What the pathetic, agenda-pushing Globe won't tell you:
"The fan, Jeffrey Chartier, was reportedly told by NFL officials before the game that his son, Tedy, could run on the sidelines and take pictures on the field. But witnesses told the Sun Chronicle that a stadium staffer told Chartier that his son couldn't come on the field and was generally "giving him a hard time."

Look who might be at the game today:
"Man who fatally beat hockey dad released
A Reading man convicted of beating another hockey dad to death at a Reading rink in 2000 has completed his sentence and been released from prison, a state official said yesterday. Thomas Junta was sentenced to six to 10 years in state prison after being convicted in Middlesex Superior Court of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Costin, 40, of Lynnfield inside the Burbank Ice Arena in 2000. Junta was released Thursday from the Northeastern Correctional Center, a minimum security prerelease facility on the grounds of the state prison in Concord, a Department of Correction spokeswoman said.

Good thing you didn't take the T in:
"2 men allegedly harassed women riding T

No need for that kind of tailgating.
