I would just like to know what part of democracy do they not understand.

"Study hints impact of proposed Maine casino

A University of Maine economist says monthly revenue figures suggest that Bangor's Hollywood Slots has developed a successful business model, but those flush numbers could be in jeopardy if a proposed casino in Oxford is approved by Maine voters in November. UMaine economist Todd Gabe told the Bangor Daily News that the Bangor facility could lose income if competition comes to Oxford, as proposed on the Nov. 2 ballot. Gabe says it depends in large part on how far people are willing to drive to gamble. Hollywood Slots in the past has said its biggest market is the 100-mile radius around Bangor....
