The Boston Globe's Hide-and-Seek: Obama's Doves

By the hide and seek I mean NOT in the web version of the paper, but in my printed paper and on the web site when I do search. What gives, Globe? Why the time-consuming games for my "news," huh? For OUR NEWS, readers?

As for his "doves," we are sunk America:

"Obama receives conflicting advice on troop increase" by Peter Baker and Elisabeth Bumiller, New York Times | September 27, 2009

WASHINGTON - Obama is hearing from more hawkish voices, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, the secretary of state, and Richard C. Holbrooke, the special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, some outside advisers relied on by Obama have voiced doubts.

It really is Hitlery, isn't it? She wants to obliterate Iran and she's drooling at the thought of more Pashtun blood. This woman appalls me, readers!!!

Please see:

If those are the hawks, I shudder at who the "doves" are (doves fully loaded with weapons of war, but....)

Colin L. Powell, former secretary of state and retired four-star Army general, visited Obama in the Oval Office this month and expressed skepticism that more troops would guarantee success, according to people briefed on the discussion. Powell reminded the president of his longstanding view that military missions should be clearly defined.

A GENERAL? That's AmeriKa's version of a DOVE? A guy who lied to the UN and was in on a war that has killed millions? A guy who helped cover up My Lai in Vietnam and was the JCS during the first Bush attack on Iraq?

I heard Kissinger tends to slither in from time-to-time, too. Was at the UN this week ('course, Globe didn't report it).

Powell is one of the three people considered by White House aides to be most influential in this current debate: Powell, Senator John F. Kerry of Massachusetts, and Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island. They have all expressed varying degrees of doubt about the prospect of sending more forces to Afghanistan. Kerry, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, has warned of repeating the mistakes of Vietnam, where he served, and has floated the idea of a more limited counterterrorist mission....

Translation: LET the PREDATORS FLY!!

Must be CARRIED by DOVES, right?

--more--"

World, I am F***ING SICKENED by these WAR CRIMINALS!!!!

THIS is what passes for DEBATE about WAR?

Whether to GRIND UP MORE of OUR PEOPLE on the GROUND trying to occupy the place protecting oil pipelines and the drug trade OR let the MISSILES FLY and ANNIHILATE MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN with FIREBALLS!!

Haven't we DONE ENOUGH of THAT already?
